MPCS is an awesome outfit. I am very impressed with all of my communications with John. He is very professional, competent and best of all responsive. I ordered my dream gaming system, which he built, and shipped to my house in short order. When it arrived I was impressed with the fact that John had packed all of the original boxes and documentation for the many components I had selected for this system. My friends and I were very impressed with the quality of the built system, the clear door showing the innards of the system showed a meticulously built system.  
 
I have been recommending MPCS computers now to all of my friends because the site allows you to select the best components, the pricing is competitive and as I mentioned, the person that builds your system is a consummate professional that understands PC hardware and software.

I recently was looking to build my own computer, but the motherboard install scared me. I have put in al sorts of parts in a computer, but never installed a MB. so I chickened out and started looking for a barebones on the internet. I got very tired of sites that would never get back to me on questions that I asked. Some went so far as to tell me I could not put together one as good as they can. So I wound up on Ebay and low and behold I found MPCS. What caught my eye was that they have a satifaction rate of 100%.With 1392 sales I thought that incredible. Selling computer systems and no one complaining is a miracle. I called up and a man named John answered the phone. John by the way is the owner and builder of MPCS. The owner taking calls, this was the place for me. I told John what I wanted, and after the appropriate 3 day burn in on the MB, he sent the computer out, by FEDEX. I was happy the guerillas at UPS didn't deliver it. In 5 days, I'm in New York and MCPS is in California, the computer came. Everything I asked for was there. All I had to do was add a HD, which I had, a Cd/Dvd-rw,Ram, and a video card from my old computer. Oh, and the OS. Started it up and it runs great. Cases is cool too. I had ordered these upgrades from the list that weren't offered. They are as follows: Asus M4A78-E MB, AMD 9950 processorand he agreed to upgrade my Raidin case to the Smilodon case, because he ran out of the original case. The wiring in the case blew my mind. It looks like the professional wiring that you would pay more. John also sent every box that the parts came with, including all the extra connectors from the MB. I would recommend John and MCPS to GOD himself and anyone else looking for a no hassle worry free barebone or complete system. John keeps you up to date on how the install is going and when it is shipped. Again, anyone selling anythig on Ebay and not have a blemish after 1300 sales is definatly doing the right thing. If you are reading this, please don't waste you time searching, MCPS is the place too go. And NO, I have never met John, but I respect what he has accomplished. I recently purchased my "barebones" system which included the Smilodon case, the Gigabyte GAEX58UD3R Motherboard, and Intel I7 2.67 GHz processor with MPCS. I appreciate the fast delivery, the good products, and the excellent customer service. Initially, when I was putting together my machine, I accidentally yanked a wire out of one of the fans, which in result, broke it. When I made the representative at MPCS aware of the situation, he was kind enough to ship me another fan, the very next day. I would definitely do business with them again. :-)

Got the system packed very well with all extra components and even the boxes!!! This build was cheaper than buying the components, paying for the shipping to me, and putting the thing together myself (which would be a miracle if everything worked!) I have read a lot of forums with do it yourself builders that know what they are doing, and they still have problems. Why have the headache. I am so glad that I will be able to talk to a real human if I have any questions or concerns vs. talking to a recording then after what seems like forever, someone that I can't understand at all!!  
I am already planing my next system, and MPCS will be the one to build it!!!

I just received my assembled and tested system from MPCS. The packaging was extemely well done and everthing arrived without any damage. Inside the shipping box, John at MPCS had included all materials related to the individual components I selected as well as all disks, manuals and boxes. Everything worked flawlessly on the first powerup and it was evident the care that had been taken to customize the system to my specifications. In addition, the Antec case was much better looking than I had expected and everthing that was installed matched the black color of the main chassis. The internal assembly was clean and the cables were dressed nicely. Extremely professional job and I am very pleased. I would recommend MPCS to anyone looking for a customized PC built to order and I will definitely use them for my next computer purchase.

Custom ordering is the way to go. Get exactly what you want.  
I wanted a video card they did not offer. All it took was an email and they responded almost immediately that they could get me exactly the video card I wanted. They even put the video card into the website ordering system so I could complete my order in the standard manner, so there was nothing unusual about my order. Very reassuring.  
The computer was built and shipped in half a week.  
It works great. No problems at all.

When I decided to replace my five year old Pentium 4 desktop, I searched long and hard for different options. I didn't have time to build my own system (work + school = no time), but I knew how much I could save by putting one together. For this reason I was reluctant to go to a big-name retailer--I knew how much they marked everything up. I considered buying from Puget, Dell, HP, Best Buy, iBuyPower, and CyberPowerPC. If there prices weren't terrible then the BBB/retailer ratings were. When I found MPCS I was skeptical--but take a look at that eBay rating! It is 100% for a reason.  
 
I had very specific requirements (case size, budget), and the staff there helped me address each of my needs. After I bought, I received daily e-mail updates that allowed me to influence the build while it was in progress. The result: an Intel Core i7 rig that absolutely SMOKES for almost $1000 less than what an equivalent Dell would have cost. I paid for everything I wanted and nothing that I didn't want.  
 
Cut through the sales and marketing BS and the outsourced tech support. Go with MPCS to save a ton of time and money--you will not be sorry!

I was pretty much scared off by the reviews of other online custom PC sellers and was thinking about paying for an overpriced system at DELL, but after reading all the great reviews about MPCS, I had high hopes and high expectations, all which were met 100%.  
 
I ordered a gaming system which worked perfectly right out of the box. Windows was pre-installed, as well as all the drivers and software that came with the components I ordered. All of the components I order were present, and when a particular component had multiple manufactures, such as the ATI video card, a very high quality manufacture was chosen.  
 
I've been running the system under a heavy load running GTA4 with the graphics setting at the Maximum with a 50% draw distance, and everything is running smoothly without issues.  
 
John, from MPCS, sent email updates during each phase of my order and the system was ready the day he said it would be.  
 
When it comes time to purchase another PC, MPCS will be my first stop.

The SF Bay area, probably where u would find the largest no of computer consumers is really lucky to have local barebones builder - MPCS computers, located within driving distance. MPCS computers is one of the few bare bones system builders that actually gives you access to a full fledged website where you can configure a system of your choice, as and how you want it. The choices of motherboards, video cards and components unlike other barebones PC manufacturers, are huge and the prices are very reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised not only to see that they had the top of the line components from top of the line manufacturers, but they were local. Many other websites do not have the kind of choices the MPCS website does.  
 
Also any and all questions that were asked, were answered very promptly by John. He even called me back a couple of times when I had doubts about something. Now tell me, how many people would actually do that.  
 
I ordered my PC and within 2-3 days I got a call back saying that it was ready. Since I live in the bay area, I drove over and got to meet John. He had the computer packed and ready for pickup. He actually hauled the PC all the way to my car. He also had all the original boxes for all the components included along with the PC.  
 
The build quality of this PC is rock solid and out of this world. Also it worked straight out of the box. Thanks MPCS computers..  

I received my custom machine from MPCS about a month ago. It came well packaged and will all related cartons and software. The system runs extremely fast and was well set up. Communications with this company has been outstanding. Well run with knowledgeable people and personalized service, is probably the best way to describe MPCS.

I just finished inspecting and test driving the ASUStek P5Q Deluxe modified bare bones kit your company finished building for me on the 14th of July 2008. Once I opened the shipping box, I knew that the quality of your company was above average. I was surprised to see how well and secure everything, and I do mean everything, was arranged and packed. Even the original boxes of the major components were broken down and packed. Nothing was missing. Not a screw, plastic tie, or any unused accessory of any major component was missing. I also was pleased to see that all the unused parts remained sealed in their factory bags and boxes.  
 
With that said, I was somewhat unprepared for what laid in wait inside the case. Almost unearthly perfection was what I beheld upon opening the side panel of the Thermaltake Tsunami case. After a thorough inspection, I found no loose fittings, screws, tool marks, dings, dents, scratches, damaged connections, or stripped screw threads. The way that most of the fan wiring was properly plastic tied exemplifies the attention to detail of the building tech(s). In fact, almost all of the wiring and cabling was conveniently tied into bunches. I greatly appreciate your installment of the cables for a floppy drive, an IDE DVD drive, SATA DVD drive, and other SATA peripherals. This made transferring these from my older PC much easier.  
 
I love the ATI Radeon HD3650 1024 MB CrossfireX that was installed. The performance versus cost is very high in addition to its excellent power and heat efficiency. Most of my 3D games look and play great on a Samsung 25.5" LCD monitor at 1920 X 1200 resolution. Very nice job on the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro installation. It works like charm by keeping my Intel Quad Core Q9450 CPU no higher than body temperature under full load in an 80+ degree ambient temperature environment with barely audible noise.  
 
There are very few major outlets that are willing to customize one's purchase as much as your company offers at your prices. Kind of like trying to order a 2009 Ford Taurus with a 2009 Mustang GT engine at a Ford dealership. I've custom ordered PCs from a few major outlets in the past and usually ended up with a product that exhibited mediocre workmanship at an additonal yet inflated labor cost. I guess most PC factory robots do not like custom orders . In most cases, people do not take notice of such things until something stops working. In fact, if one desires something exotic, you are perfectly willing to accommodate them. How's that for customization. Kind of like "Pimp My PC". As a matter of fact, I plesantly surprised to not see any fingerprints on my glossy painted case when I removed it from the shipping box using talc-free latex gloves!  
 
Most people have to realize that one of the keys to being successful with a small business is the ability to offer exemplary customer support and service. You have provided such service to me from the time of ordering to shipment. I got the feeling that your company treats its client support/services like its bread and butter as opposed to the butter knife attitude one usually gets from most of the other major PC outlets. In addition, not only did you not hastily build my order but made sure everything ordered worked perfectly before shipment. Frequent order updates and timely question responses are good things from a Martha Stewart perspective. I cannot remember the last time I received an unrequested update on a custom PC order from a major PC outlet.  
 
In regards to your shipping method, I have to put into perspective that my order was shipped from CA on Monday and arrived here in TX on Friday during the same week...!!!  
 

Pros: Very helpful and knowledgeable. Machine delivered on time at a good price. Very quiet machine. Meets my needs.  
 
Cons: DVD recorder firmware out of date (they identified problem quickly and gave me instructions for upgrading  
 
Before ordering my Dual Core Pentium computer from MPCS, I called with questions. They spent a half hour on the phone discussing my applications and which configuration would be best. We conclcluded that a dual core vs quad core would be best for scientific applications. Then we configurged a system right in my price range. Considering their stellar reviews, their willingness to help and their reasonable prices, I placed an order.  
 
The machine is great. It is the quietest computer I have ever worked on and the internals were immaculate in terms of cable layout. It came with installationg disks including Windows media.  
 
Recently, I encountered a couple of issues. I could not get IDE working and the DVD drive wasn't recognizing some brands of blank disks. I sent an email to MPCS on Saturday and a half hour later I received a response telling me how to upgrade the DVD firmware and how to enable the IDE.  
 
All in all, I am very pleased with the vendor and the product. I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought a small customize box from MPCS Computers and everything has turned out great. I'm using it as Linux file server and I haven't any problems with it. Communication and shipping was clear and quick. I would definitely consider doing business again.
