Your prices is by far the best that I have seen for the product that I purchased, which was the Asus GeForce 8800 Ultra 768MB. In addition, I was pleased with the arrival time, less than five business days. I will do business again with Puget for their professionalism and extremely competitive prices. Thank you.

Great outfit - I got a superfast, superquiet computer for about $1100. They were very professional. I had some software issues that helped me with (took quite a bit of time) even though it was not a hardware problem and not really their responsibility. They really know what they're doing, and they give value for the money as well...

System works perfectly. My order was for a single workstation for a home office, so it wasn't too complicated. Yet I used to oversee computer equipment purchasing for a relatively large company, and from that perspective, I was super impressed with their professionalism and the product they delivered.

I am very satisfied with the dialog and recommendations made by the technical representatives at Puget. They answered my questions and we were able to put together a computer for Photo editing using Adobe CS4 in 64 bit mode. Some of my scans result in very large files so having the expanded memory capability of a 64 bit computer and operating system really helps. The computer does everything that it needs to do and does so without excessive cost. Great packaging. The double boxing saved the day given the treatment FedEx doles out to packages. I especially like the quality case, components, and attention to detail when building the computer.
Regarding the software,it is really nice to have a clean install to work with rather than the mess one usually gets from most computer retailers. The only issue I am having relates to the normal problems with drivers for peripherals and a 64 bit version of Vista.
Nice people to work with. Very prompt communication. My next computer will be purchsed from Puget.

This was the best online purchasing experience I have ever had. I'm a professional photographer and my first contact with Puget was a long e-mail describing my needs for a computer that could easily and quickly handling the editing of extremely large image files. I didn't have a huge budget. I'm somewhat computer literate but not enough to know what my best options would be to buy/build a computer to do this. William at Puget responded with an extremely informative e-mail that laid out some options and did a great job of explaining the pros and cons of each option. He was very considerate of my budget and did a great job explaining where to get the most performance for my dollar and what upgrades provided only a marginal improvement. I had many questions and send many follow up e-mails and each was responded to quickly and very completely. William was also very aware for the requirements and best components for running the newest versions of photography software such as Photoshop and Lightroom.
When I ordered the computer I could log into my account and watch as my computer was built (and could see the name of everyone who touched it). I could not believe the level of detail of their status updates. I could also watch the updates as the computer went through quality control and I was just as impressed with everything they checked. You would never find this at a mass market retailer like Dell.
The computer arrived perfectly packed. Documentation was included for every component and a nice reference binder had been included with details for every component, the qc checklist, performance benchmark testing, and a restore disk, diagnostic disk, and disk for all the drivers I needed.
I plugged in the computer, loaded the software, and smiled at how clean the install was and how well everything worked. No unnecessary software, no "free offers", just a perfectly clean install to do exactly what I needed.
As far as I'm concerned if you are in the market for a computer there is nowhere else you should even consider shopping!

I bought an expensive Puget custom built computer, expecting to have something great that I would enjoy and use for years. The computer I got is just average performance with two part failures and two serious system crashes. Attempts to improve the system with my service-plan-paid-for customer service resulted in zero improvement. Two broken parts replacement events have been Alice in Wonderland experiences - unclear and contradictory information, unanswered phone calls, unreturned voice messages, extreme delivery delays, multiple email messages and all sorts of reasons offered. These have been journeys into chaos. All I wanted were working parts!

Thank you for your honest feedback. While we will continue to do our best to serve your needs, I wanted to provide some perspective to the readers here.
The average performance cited is due to an extreme number of USB peripherals, and due to running programs over network based storage. We encouraged Sarah to try running without the peripherals, and with her files on a local hard drive -- she should see significant performance improvement.
Of the two problems cited, the first failure was a noisy video card fan, due to dust in the computer. It was working correctly, but was making a noise. We replaced the entire video card at no cost, with FedEx Express Saver, shipped the same day the problem was determined.
The second failure was broken front ports on her chassis -- physical damage due to a cable being pulled accidentally. Though not technically covered by warranty, we happily replaced it at no cost. That replacement unfortunately was delayed by Antec for a few weeks. We did everything in our power to make Antec as responsive as possible.
Sarah, I'm very sorry that you have been dissatisfied with our company. While I stand behind what we've provided to you, I am always reading the feedback our customers provide, and we'll do our best to meet your expectations in the future! |

This is the second computer I've ordered from Puget Custom Computers. I was very pleased with the assistance I received prior to selecting this particular computer. The staff were very prompt in e-mail responses. It only took 4 days to complete the build. I chose to pick up the computer at their store. William was very helpful in showing the inside of the case with hints on how/where to add new components later. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Puget. They do a GREAT job.

I came across about Puget after scouring the Web for a good PC vendor that could provide a quality product to my spec using standard off-the shelf parts rather than a compromised generic box (think HP, Dell, Gateway, etc) that cut corners or used custom components to shave their costs while limiting the end user's support or upgrade options. Puget was highly recommended by many people online and I was not disappointed in my selection of Puget for this purchase. I exchanged numerous online chats and e-mails with folks at Puget, clarifying technical questions I had before settling on my final computer configuration. They were always prompt, patient and never pushy - they actually listened to what I wanted and advised accordingly, even to the point of discouraging me from spending money on components I didn't need for my use case scenario. They were very professional at all times, and knowledgeable to match. When my computer arrived, it was exactly as it should have been, impeccably put together, including some custom cabling I had requested, and with excellent documentation. The computer works great right out of the box. The whole experience was excellent and I will definitely go back to Puget for my future computer purchases.

I have been using my new system from Puget for about a month now, and I am greatly impressed by their fantastic craftsmanship. I have had no issues with the system and it is running beautifully. Their attention to detail and process completeness goes above and beyond any expectations. I am highly recommending Puget Systems computers to my friends and family, and will be returning to them for any future system purchases.

I had read an article online recently about custom built gaming computers that referenced 5 manufacturers. I used those 5 as a starting point and researched their web sites and any online reviews I could find. After narrowing down my choices to two companies, I made my final decision after talking with reps from both companies. After speaking with my rep at Puget, I placed my order. Long story short: I received my system December 18 and I couldn't be happier. I've got a fast system with high quality parts that are upgradeable and I have customer service techs that I can relate to. What sold me on the company were their great web site and staff bios. That is a big help and gives you a little indication of who you will be dealing with. I could go on and on, but I will just say this.....If you have always bought from Dell, HP, etc, give these guys a shot. First class parts and high quality build. What's not to like? I can't think of a thing. This review was modified by its author, mahdlokg, on

Puget was the more appealing company for me due to price and ease of ordering. Customer service is adequate, but slow to respond to emails or calls. Perhaps an autoresponse to emails would help alleviate customer anxiety when uable to reach a customer service representative. All calls were returned, but not all emails. The company shipped my computer a day before promised, and I will update further after I recieve it and install it.
