Overall, ordering was easy, the customer service was exceptional, and the product was in new condition. I asked for the lens on a specific day and got it a day early. I have been telling all my photographer friends what a great experience I had and what an exceptional company LensRentals.com is.

I usually don't write reviews of companies that I deal with over the Internet, however, my experience with LensRentals.com was so amazing I felt compelled to share my experience. My Canon 5D camera broke while on a photo shoot and needed to be shipped to NJ for repairs. I was immediately out of a camera and had many jobs in the near future that required my camera. I spent a few hours researching different rental companies, both on the internet, and locally and ultimately decided to go with LensRentals.com. Here's why: Out of all the companies I had researched, LensRentals.com was the least expensive, had the quickest turn around time, and had my camera in stock. I mentioned when I placed my order that I would appreciate any expediting in the processing of my order because I didn't want to have to reschedule any photo shoots. Almost immediately after placing the order I received an e-mail from a representative detailing different shipping options that I could use for my particular situation (also taking into account that the holidays were approaching and this might cause some delays.) I was so impressed with the friendly, helpful tone and nature of the e-mail I received as well as the company's willingness to spend a little time to go out of their way to make sure that I received my camera in the time needed for my job.

Loved the process. They messed up on shipping location (I asked for a 'hold for pickup' at my local FedEx/Kinko's) and when I let them know it was going to be a pain for me to pick up the next day at FedEx, they did right and gave me 3 more days of rental. That's customer service. The lenses arrived in excellent condition and worked perfectly. It was a pleasure doing business with these folks, and I'll do it again next time I want to try out some lenses that are normally "beyond my financial reach"...

I just want to thank all of you at Lensrentals.com for such a wonderful experience. As someone who is new to photography, it's great to know that I can pursue my passion without having to worry about buying expensive equipment. The customer service was astounding and I will definitely recommend Lensrentals.com to everyone I come across who is in the same situation as I.

As always they were perfect. What else can I say. This is the only rental co. that I will use.

First time using lensrentals. Reserved the lens 2 months in advance and received it 2 days before the reservation date. Lens worked great, pictures came out perfect from the trip. I will be renting from them again soon, and for future vacations.

I rented two lenses from Lensrental.com for the first time. We were going on a Disney cruise and I wanted a wide angle and a long lens. I placed the rental order in May for a rental period of the first three weeks in December. I immediately received a personal email from the owner detailing the coverage of the insurance that I ordered as well, and what would and would not be covered while on the ship and while on the islands.  
 
I received an email notice of shipment when the rental period was close, and received the lenses four days before I requested that it start. I was not charged for this early arrival, the company just wanted to make sure I got them before I left.  
 
Half way through the trip the 300mm lens stopped working... I wasn't worried about it so I didn't try to contact Lensrental while on the trip. When I arrived home I repacked the box that came with a return shipping label. I then sent Lensrental an email and also detailed the problem I had with the lens. I again got a personal email from the owner letting me know that the error I was seeing on my camera indicated an electrical error, and that it is very common when in salt air. He promised that they would email me once they recieved the lens and let me know what was wrong, but that I need not worry about it.  
 
They are a 10 out of 10 in my book, their customer service and attention to detail are spectacular, and their pricing was very reasonable, and I will definately use Lensrental again if I need a lens for a short time, and do not wish or need to purchase it.

Rented a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens. excellent condition. shipping was on time. customer service is extremely nice and seems to reply to emails all hours of the day/night.. and fast. i recommend them to everyone i know and will definitely be looking to rent from them again.

Absolutely outstanding equipment and customer service! I rented a Canon Mark III body and 500mm f4 IS lens for a month. Lensrentals was very flexible in working with me on special requirements, and the gear arrived in plenty of time. I checked out a number of other options on the web, and I really made the right choice. They will get all my business in the future.
