My rental went very smoothly and uneventfully. My lens arrived, well packaged, a full day before the day of rental and I was given another day to return the lens at the end of the rental.  
 
The lens itself was in fine working condition.  
 
All queries put to LensRentals.com through email were answered quickly and completely within a few hours.  
 
Technically, my order may still not be fully completed - while they have said my lens was received, they have not indicated that all is fine with it (and that I will not be charged anything). So I will update this in a few days once all is fully done.  
 
I would recommend their service and shop from them again.

Great quality equipment. Painless and prompt shipping. Helpfull staff, always willing to answer email questions at practically any time of the day or night. And some pretty good prices too. If there is some way to improve on this service, I don't know what it is!

I needed a high-quality lens to photograph an airshow, and LensRentals.com had the best combination of selection and prices, as well as the ability to reserve a lens in advance.  
 
The lens was shipped promptly, well-packed, and included straightforward instructions detailing when the lens had to be returned and where to take the lens for shipping. A return shipping label was also included.  
 
LensRentals.com also kept me updated via email at every step of the rental and return process, including letting me know that my credit card had been billed (a few days in advance of the actual ship date), when the lens was shipped and delivery confirmation. They also sent me an email a day before the lens was due to be shipped, reminding me that it was almost time. They even included a direct link to a dropoff point locator for FedEx.  
 
My experience with LensRentals.com has been entirely positive, with the only surprises being positive ones where they went above and beyond in making me a happy customer.  
 
I will definitely be renting more lenses from LensRentals.com in the future.

They got both lenses to me at breakneck speed. They were packed extremely well and showed their attention to detail. I decided to use them to preview a couple of lenses prior to purchasing them. This way beats shellng out the hard earned dollars only to find out the lens doesn't work quite the way the ad said. The rental was easy and the pre-printed FedEx label that arrived with the lenses, made it painless to return the lenses to them. Thanks guys for good service.

Great service. I ordered a 7 day rental. Rental period starts the day after I received the lens. And you do not ship back till the day after the rental ends. So on a 7 day rental, I had the equipment for the entire 7 days. Simply put the lens back into the package it came into, place provided shipping label, and take to the nearest kinkos/fed ex. Cannot be simpler than that. The sent me am email when they shipped the item. So I could keep track of it. You can also see tracking info on the website on the return shipment. You get an email notification when they have received the item back. I would easily recommend them to anyone that wants a lens for vacation. special purposes or testing a pro quality lens before you buy.

Really nothing to add to the love songs seen here. LensRentals.com operates exactly as online shopping should: Simple, fast, and friendly. Frankly, I haven't rented that much glass, but my experience with LensRentals makes me eager to do it more often.

This was my second time using LensRentals.com this summer and I couldn't be more pleased with the service, selection and quality as well as the ease of use of the web site. As a matter of fact I recommended LensRentals.com to 3 people on my recent trip to Yellowstone who commented on the equipment I was using! I was referred to LensRentals.com by a co-worker who had a great experience with their service. I must say that my experience was also great. I received almost immediate positive feedback on taking the lens out of the country. I received the lens a day in advance packaged nice and secure, the lens was in great condition, and the email reminder as to when to return the lens was helpful. My only concern was that the insurance that LensRentals.com offers does not cover theft and their website suggests looking at your own insurance company, but I didn't have any luck in finding an insurance company that would cover a rented lens. Ultimately, I decided to just risk it and keep it with me at all times. I would definitely would and already have referred others to use LensRentals.com.

I ordered 2 lenses. Their customer service was superb. I got a call moments after I ordered, concerning the availability of one of the lenses, informing me of some information about 1 of the lenses that was small, but nonetheless very cool that they called.  
 
The lenses were great. I actually got the lenses early and they are simple to return.  
 
I strongly suggest insurance, especially if inexperience with larger lenses (like me), it payed off for me to be safe vs. sorry.  
 
I will definitely use them again...soon!

I read a lot of reviews that the customer service was excellent and I was not disappointed. The speed of the correspondence was impressive. My order was fully processed only 2 min after I placed it. I was able to email while on vacation to extend my rental with no problems. The equipment was in excellent quality. I rented 2 lenses and 1 body. One lens and the body were less than 1 month old. The other lens was older but you couldn't tell by looking at it. With the excellent service and large stock of a lot of equipment there is no way this company will not succeed.

I have rented from LensRentals.com on many occasions and I have to say that the level of service is impeccable. They are fast at responding to emails, the deliveries are shipped on time, and the quality of the lenses is superb. I'm more than satisfied with this company.

This is the first time I've ever rented a lens from Lens Rentals.com and I will be sure to rent from them again and again. They service is outstanding and prices are very good. The delivery was exactly as they said it would be. Returning the lens couldn't be any easier, just package it back up and use the label provided.
