LensRentals.com continues to impress me with their easy system and on-time deliveries as well as their excellent customer support. One of the items I rented broke part-way through my trip recently (I was in rural Japan). When I returned to the US and contacted LensRentals, they first told me that if I had been in the US and contacted them, they would have overnighted me a replacement. Instead, they issues me a refund without any hassle. I was really impressed with how they handled this and am happy to recommend them to anyone looking to rent camera gear!

LensRental.com was perfect in every aspect of the rental. Everything was shipped on time and...perfect. I will continue to rent me lenses from them when ever I want to try out a new lens. Both lenses I rented (300mm F4 and 24mm 3.5 pc) where in great condition and looked great and functioned how they should. I highly recommend them!!!

Good service. The products I rented (Canon 500mm f4 IS lens, Giottos MH 1300 ball head and Tripod Head - Wimberley Sidekick) work as expected. I would use the service again.  
 
I did have 2 small complaints:  
1) the ball head camera mounting plate was loose. I could have tightened it myself, if I had easy access to an Allen/hex key. This was only a minor problem and did not affect usage of the product.  
2) The lensrental website allows the entry of Canadian addresses but the shipping information was corrupted. More specifically the postal code was incorrectly formatted and had insufficient digit. In my case I was having the product shipped to a UPS store in a US city where I was visiting on vacation. Therefore the destination address was correct but the recipient information did not match my ID exactly. This discrepancy did not seem to be a concern to UPS and I was able to pick up the product. I don't know what the affect of the corruption would have (if any) if the product was being shipped to Canada.  
 

I decided to give LensRentals a shot since my wife and I were going to NYC for our anniversary. We rented the Canon 10-22 lens for two weeks. Shipping and customer service was outstanding! I had absolutely no problems with the lens or shipping at all. This was my first experience with renting a lens and I participate in a online photography website. I have and will recommend LensRentals to all my friends!!!

Had nothing but fantastic results with LensRentals.com. Shipments are always on time and usually a day early. Lenses are nothing less than perfect. I even bought a lens used from them and got an incredible deal for a lens they claimed had been used but looks and performs new to me.

I needed some versatility & range, so I rented the nikon 70-200vr. I have never used it before. Since I've only heard great things about this lens, I thought to test drive it before buying. I had two birthday parties, which fell between the 7 day rental. Not realizing the date, the first birthday was coming up that weekend, I called on thursday and it arrived on Friday.  
 
Nothing was lacking, not from the lens, or the customer service. I usually don't bother with reviews (I know, I'm bad), but this company is worth reviewing. They accommodated my requests with no issues whatsoever. No grumpy or ill tempered assistance is very nice when you're stressed out about time.  
 
Couldn't be happier, and will definitely consider them again, and recommend them to fellow photographers.

I ordered a lens that I cannot afford to buy yet - the service was fast and wonderful (because I had ordered ahead of time, the lens actually arrived a day early - giving me more time to work with it). They were helpful with extending my rental a few days and responded almost immediately to all communications! I would DEFINITELY rent from them again!

Excellent experience. Their prices are very reasonable and they deliver exactly as promised. The entire transaction was flawless. Not only do they have a wide variety to rent but each one comes with a review that is extremely helpful. Their website also has some very helpful articles on photography in general. If you are looking for a one time rental before you buy or renting for a single occasion you will not go wrong with them.
