Similar experience with others.
Bad business, looked as if has a good price so was received as result from search,
but goods was never shipped.
Detail:
Ordered on 1/5/2008, checked with them on 1/20/2008 (after 10 business days), received canned email to expect delivery in 15 business days, received email from Fedex on 1/22/2008, credit card charged on 1/24/2008, but today, 2/6/2008, still no activities in the Fedex tracking number. I sent another email to the company today.

Worst online shopping experience I've ever had- DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Unfortunately, they have many websites affiliated under multiple names, some of which include homebrands.com, ekitchenandhome.com, ekitchengadgets.com, and giantsavings.com. I still have yet to receive a product ordered 12/29/07, nor any notification as to its status, nor the refund I finally requested after trying no less than 5 times to contact them over the past month. Have already logged a complaint with the BBB- only wish I had checked with them first as there was already a long list of complaints against this company. I am truly amazed that this kind of company is allowed to conduct this kind of business and go unchecked- it's truly disgraceful and unfair to the trusting consumer.

Very unsatisfactory experience. This company sends information to the shipping company right away, but then doesn't send the package. So it looks like it's coming, but it never does. No communication about a delay. My inquiries generated "canned" e-mail responses. When I finally pried a package from them (a month late), they sent me the wrong product. Had to return it, and then the same process started over. I finally did get the correct product, but it was two months late. Definitely not worth the hassle.

This is a terrible company to deal with. They took my money, then they don't deliver or inform you about the process. I found a link to request a problem and got no response. I waited and nothing so I found the link again and requested an update. Not something hard like something free or to actually ship the item just to tell me what was going on. I guess that is to hard for them. They send me a cookie cutter message that was a repeat of what was printed on their website when I submitted my first two requests for information. You have got to be kidding me how bad of a company this is to deal with. How they stay in business is mind blowing. I mean all I asked for was a status update. I didn't realizing the purchasing products from a company meant they take your money and run. That is what appears has happened. In over a month all I have received is a cookie cutter message. I would say auto response except I didn't get one the first time. DON'T DO BUSINES SWITH THEM!!!!

Avoid iKitchen like the Plague! I have dealt with them over three orders, equaling four items. No website tracking method – you send them an email after waiting “fifteen business day” for a non-delivered product. Their paper documentation presents order dates and order numbers different from those assigned when order placed. One item took 45-days to be delivered, although the item was not listed as “out of stock.” Paper tail indicates this company has multiple aliases: iKitchen, Kitchen & Home, Order Store – Yahoo.net, Kitchen Select, eKitchen Gadgets. Worst, most confusing web retailer I have experienced.

Avoid like the plague. They never ship, send emails that SAY your product has shipped but UPS doesn't have any info and your account info is NEVER updated...because it has NOT shipped. You can only send emails, which they reply with useless form emails that say nothing whatsoever. I had paid with PayPal and I think that helped since they have their own 'fraud reporting' division available to you...which works because THEY are a legitimate organization...but they have a timeline and rules when you report which includes trying to work it out with the other company first. Since I had read the reviews on this great site (unfortunately AFTER I'd ordered!) I went to ikitchen's site and manuevered around until I found where you can send a cancellation email and I was concise, saying that their organization was a disgrace and then I lied and wrote that a copy of the email was being sent to PayPal and the BBB, where I added a phony number like #74-45A as if I had reported it or something. Hey, whatever works. I don't know if it was because I'd used PayPal or because my lie made me seem like 'trouble', but I got a refund 1.5 days later...better than battling in frustration for months with a company you cannot reach.
Believe me, from now on I will read this site BEFORE ordering from a new company I haven't used previously.

Placed an order on 1/1/08 and received a UPS tracking number on 1/2/08, I thought Great! The UPS tracking info never changed until I went to their site and EMAILed them a query about my order on 1/10/08. There is no way to Talk to iKitchen about your order. The next day 1/11/08 there was finally activity on the UPS tracking site. I received my order on 1/15/08. As of 1/15/08 I still haven’t received a reply to my Email, I guess that “We will attempt to answer your inquiry within 72 business hours” really does mean ATTEMPT. The FAQs and Customer service sections of their WEB site are useless, and seem to protect iKitchen very well. Unfortunately the Coffee Maker was defective. The return request email form on the iKitchen site says to expect a reply with the RMA# in 5-10 days. Since I’m still waiting for a reply from my first EMAIL; I decided to use the Cuisinart Warranty and return the Coffeemaker to Cuisinart. The customer service representative who I TALKED at Cuisinart was very helpful, and a new coffee maker is on the way.
I feel iKitchen is very iKitchen oriented verses customer oriented. I should have checked their ratings before ordering from iKitchen. They have a great looking site but very poor customer service. Feels like they are fly-by-night and in it just for the money. I won’t buy from them again.

iKitchen took my order, notified me that it was shipping 48 hours later (even sent me a FedEx tracking number), CHARGED my credit card, and then never shipped the order.
Two emails went unanswered.
They speak only to corporate customers on the phone.
I suspect that I'll have to use my credit-card company to get the charge removed.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! Or at least hide your wallet. Ordered a cheese slicer for my son to give my wife for Christmas. Store does not answer e-mails. I can't believe Paypal is associated with this scam!

Order did not make it before Christmas and there was never any notification it was not shipping, even though they said they would notify within 2 days if it was not going to. Their website customer service never did respond to emails and it does not allow you to cancel your order, just goes around and around. I will not buy here again or recommend it to anyone else

Very poor company. Ordered item on 12/3/07 and received email that item order was received. Status updates on website showed no change in order after 2 weeks. Sent 2 emails to ikitchen and never received any response. Second email was to cancel order. Finally used Paypal dispute process to get results. Email received from ikitchen on 12/27/07 that order was cancelled and Paypal account confirmed that money was refunded. This is the worst online vendor I have ever used. Their prices are good, but their service is terrible. And once they get your email address they will SPAM you to death with "specials". Avoid these people.

I ordered two cuisinart CSB77 blenders on 11/22/07 and received quick notification that they would ship out by UPS very soon. About 12/10 I wrote ikitchen and they responded that the blenders were arriving soon and UPS would notify me. I waited a day or so and I did get a note from UPS so I waited another week. UPS tracking says they have not even picked up the order...as of 12/24/07 I have not seen the order so I wrote them another notes cancelling the order. Of course they have already charged my card so I need to write a letter to VISA etc. What a pain...never again. Ikitchen is giving on-line sales a bad reputation.

This store is a fraud. They take your order, send it quickly to the credit card bank, and then inform you that they do not have the order in stock and refuse to cancel the order. Makes you wonder exactly what the scam is re. credit information. Why have they not been shut down? I contacted consumer affairs about them. I also contacted my credit card to let them know that a fraud is taking place. I will not have to pay. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM SITE.

Vendor contacted UPS soon after the order was placed. UPS issued a tracking number via Quantum View. My credit card was charged the same day. Two weeks later and a few days after Quantum View [UPS] said the package would be delivered I checked the tracking number for the first time, no package was associated with the number. UPS indicated a tracking number is issued when package information is transmitted to UPS, the package may not have actually been placed with UPS for shipment. Quantum View is not working for the customer. Vendor indicated "still waiting on the shipment from the distributor". Cancelled the order by email, the vendor telephone number is not an 800 number and is useless. Contacted AMEX and started a case. Do not use this vendor and be aware of the nature of Quantum View.
