My first time buying at Vanns and I will not hesitate to purchase from them again. Simple and straightforward. I placed the order and received exactly what I asked for in a very timely manner. I bought from them based on price and rating here at Reseller Ratings.

I'm writing this review before I've even received my order. First off I ordered from a company that had the lowest advertised price online and ended up in the middle of a Brooklyn bait and switch upsell scam. I then tried another company that advertised a similarly low price and somehow found myself in a similar, though slightly less disgruntling, situation. Finally I found resellerratings.com and tried again. I looked at the reviews of those two companies and was shocked and horrified at how they do business. I searched for the camera here on resellerratings.com and found a number of highly rated businesses offering the camera for a good price (although not as good as the previously mentioned scam artists). Anyway I chose to shop with Vann's because they had not only the lowest price but also the highest reseller ratings - and not to mention they're located nowhere near the east coast, lol. Anyway, I placed my order at about 12:45pm and got an e-mail immediately saying that they'd received my order and that it would be ready to ship 24-48 hours later after aproval from their Fraud Security Department. Well I got a second e-mail just three hours later saying the order had been approved - now thats what I'm talking about!! After my first two experiences this was a total breath of fresh air. Less than an hour later I got another e-mail that said my package was ready to be shipped and that it would likely go out the next day. BUT WAIT, there's more! Two hours later, the same day, only 6 hours after ordering I got yet another e-mail - this time with a UPS tracking number. 6 hours after ordering the package was on the truck and on its way to my home. I cannot fathom how on top of things this company must be. They truly care about doing things right and getting it done right away. Oh, and sure the price was the very best among reputable companies, but if you want to save even more they also have a clearance department with product returns and scratch and dents where I also found the same camera for the same price that those grey-market con artists in Brooklyn were selling it for (and theirs likely would have been dinged or a returned product had I agreed to their scams). I haven't even received my order yet, but I can't tell you how happy I am right now for Vann's. Take a look at their website and you'll see that they're 100% authorized by their product manufacturers and you'll also be able to learn about the company and who they are and what they do. You won't see anything like that from the crooks at broadwayphoto.com or thecameraprofessionals.com. Long story short, if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is. Resellerratings.com is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise smelly sea of unscrupulous internet retailers. Thanks so mucn to Vann's and to Resellerratings.com for helping me out!

Ordered though Amazon Via Vann's without any problems. Communication via email was excellent and timely. Sent tracking information and arrived on scheduled date (06/12/08). Highly recommended retailer.

This is my first big purchase on the interent and it went very smooth and easy. Purchased a Samsung 46" LCD HDTV LED Backlight and VANN'S had the best price with no sales tax or shipping. Arrived on the day that is was scheduled in perfect condition. Would recommend and buy from VANN'S again.

Just received my second order from Vanns, and like the first, everything went smoothly. Placed the order first thing Monday morning for a Panasonic FZ18, selected 3-day UPS, received the shipping notice that afternoon, and the package arrived on Wednesday, a day early! Great service from both Vanns and UPS. Item was fresh stock, and arrived in good shape. Highly recommended.

Ordered a Plasma TV from Vanns. Overall value was good. Everything went well, except for the delivery. The shipping company, "Big Yellow", took 2 days to get it from their local warehouse, to my house. The tracking information indicated that it would delivered on December 26, and it showed that it was delivered to the warehouse in town on that date, but it took me until noon on the 28th before I'd receive it, and that's only because I made numerous phone calls to Big Yellow in order to get them to help me. If not for my phone calls, it probably would have taken several more days. Overall, however, I thought it was a decent transaction and I would do business with Vanns again.

Very Happy with the Customer Service. I called twice and both times eash rep was really nice and assisted me in finding where my package was. It got here to Hawaii in 4 days which is real good. The price was also the best I could find out on the WEB. I will definitely use them again!

I ordered from them. They shipped what I ordered, well packaged and in a timely fashion. No surprises even on something that was less then everyone else. I would order from them again.

I received my order quickly. When I decided that it was not what I wanted, customer service was very courteous and helpful. They exchanged the unit for another brand and even paid for the return shipping charges.

I ordered an Onkyo TX8522 receiver, DX390 CD player and a pair of Sony tower speakers. As it turned out the speakers went out of stock prior to shipment, Vanns prromptly voided that part of the order and shipped the rest. After shopping around for a few days I decided on a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 60`s from Crutchfield. Better speakers than the Sony`s I`m sure. Anyway, because I took a few days to decide and Vann`s is in Montana and Crutchfield in Virginia. Everything arrived at my home in NJ together on the same UPS delivery. Now 1 year later it is all still going strong and sounding great.

My wife wanted an LCD TV we could put on the wall in our bedroom for Christmas. So for a good price, combined with Harmony remote, I bought a Panasonic TC-32LX85 from Vann’s. I had already bought a 47-inch Hitachi from Vann's, and their communication, service, friendliness rocked, just like it did the first time. I placed my order on-line and didn’t get a confirmation, so after a couple days I called. I think because I had it delivered to my Mom’s (Christmas present) it may have slowed things down a little. The representative quickly found my order, confirmed everything and immediately got the ball rolling. The set got from Montana to Kansas 4 days later with tracking through FedEx supplied, double boxed and ready to go. Thanks Vann's!

I found Vann's through this site after discovering the last place I tried to order from was a total scam. I placed my order for a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 on Tuesday evening, chose 2day air service for it. I got my confirmation the next day that it was going out and I received my order promptly midday on Friday, March 28. They had incredible service! Not only were they fast and accurate but the price of this wonderful camera was $50 cheaper than I found it anywhere else. I highly recommend going through Vann's for purchasing digital cameras.

I was quite pleased with my purchase of a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 camera. The price was great, shipping was free and the camera arrived on the exact day indicated. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

My beautiful and wonderfully priced Pioneer Pro 1150HD arrived in a pristine carton. When it was unpacked, warmed to room temperature and speakers assembled and attached I plugged it in and it did not work. When I looked at the screen at an angle at the right height I found cracks in three corners of the screen. Vanns Customer Service reassured me that they would have the set picked up at their expense and replaced or my purchase price refunded at my option. The people I dealt with when placing the order, arranging the return and dealing with the shipping arrangements in each direction were courteous, friendly and knowledgable. All in all, while my hdtv was a disaster my experience with Vanns was splendid.My friends who learned of my experience and I am ready and willing to buy from Vanns in the future with great confidence.
