Ordered Canon A550, when I called and "confirmed" and told them I did not want accessories because I have them from earlier camera they hanged up. As everyone else I placed an order, called to confirm and was told that my order is cancelled because they don't have it in stock. Before I could ask anything they hung up. Very rude!  
 
Tried to place an order again for another item several days later, and when called to confirm, they just told me it was already cancelled and hung up. I guess I am blacklisted now. Not that I would want to ever order from them again and would never recommend it to anyone.

Bait and Switch. Canon SD800 listed on site for $229.00 and listed in stock.  
 
When you call to confirm order, they try to sell you over-priced accessories. If you don't agree to buy the accessories, they then tell you the camera is refurbished. If you insist on a new camera they quote you more than $100 more and tell you it's out of stock. SCAMMERS.

Same story as every body else!! they hung up on me several times and at the end they just told me we are out of stuck and then hung up again!!

Last night I placed an order with the company Digital Super Deals (digitalsuperdeals.com) for a Canon PowerShot S3IS Digital Camera after calling them and verifying that the camera they were offering on their web site was brand new in the box for the $225 price. They told me over the phone it was. I placed the order on their web site. I then got an email stating that I needed to call to confirm the order. When I called them, I was told that I didn't order any memory cards with this and that I needed them. I told them that I already have the memory cards from a previous camera and didn't need them. I was then told that I didn't order the batteries for this camera and that I would need to do this. I told them that I have batteries, also from the previous camera. At this point, the person was rude and proceeded to tell me that the $225 price was the price for a refurbished camera and the camera that I wanted was $299 for a new one.  
 
I cancelled the order!!  
 
I believe that because I didn't want their memory cards and batteries, they decided to "Jack" the price of the camera.

I didn't check this ratings before, but it's the same story, I place my order, received e-mail asking to confirm my order. They call me (718-943-3750) to ask me if I wanted battery, memory card, I said no, and then they told me that I was buying a refurbished camera.NOT GOOD! I cancel my CC right away. It's wishy washy.

Rude and unethical. I placed an order with this company(they had the best price) but they refused my order and hung up on me when I would not purchase any accesories.I told them I could get the accesories here then the salesman said " then you can buy the camera there" and hung up on me. I should have read the other experiences because they are just like mine. Beware of therse guys.

ordered a canon powershot g7 online called to confirm the order 24 hours later got an email with tracking number and the package arrived 5 days later

I ordered a Canon S3 IS. The Low Price Digital search site rated DigitalSuperDeals with 5 stars and "Gold Certified Merchant." It's Not! I received an email confirming my order and requesting I call in. The salesman sounded very unprofessional. The aggressive sales pitch started with all the accessories. THEN I was informed that it is a refurbished model. I had very carefully checked every description and link on the webpage for "refurbished" because of the price. It was false advertizing. I was told that for $120 more I could buy a "new" one. I cancelled my order immediately. They did send a cancellation email as they promised.  
The whole exchange felt fishy.

The internet purchasing was alright, but when you submit your order it gives you an order number and tells you to call and confirm the order. When I called to confirm the order I was treated very disrespectfully and because I started to complain, the person on the phone said that he will not be nice to me anymore and said that my order was canceled. When I asked why, he said that it was due to product unavailability. But for me it seemed that it was because of my complaining and wanting to talk to the manager. By the way apparently the "owner" of the company answerers the phone calls.  
I would never order from this website again.

I purchased a Sony DCR_HC48 Camcorder and a Kodak V610 digital camera on 02/13/2007.  
I called on the 14th to confirm purchase and the salesman immediatley wanted me to buy accessories. I told him I only wanted what I had purchased with my Amazon Visa card. The next words out of his mouth were "Your order has been cancelled."  
What...the hell...cancelled because I didn't order accessories. What a scam!!!  
I called Amazom Visa to complain. They have their website and phone numbers now.  
I also am very PO'd because I was looking at the the digitalexpo.com (called The Digital Expo)store for the same purchase and was shock when I entered my digitalsuperdeals log in on their site. It pull up my credit card information.

Buyer beware!!! This is not a legitimate website to purchase from. They low-ball the prices on their cameras and then cancel the order if you don't buy their suggested accessories. Very rude to deal with - don't trust them!!!!

Ordered Canon A710 and was immediately contacted by phone and asked about ordering over-priced accessories for camera. Told the rep. I didn't need any and he then told me the camera was refurbished and a new camera was about $85 higher. Nowhere on the page does it state the camera is refurbished. What a scam site.

Ordered Sony DCR-SR80 Camcorder on the 9th. Got an e-mail saying that I needed to call and confirm the order. Couldn't becasue they were closed on Saturday. Called on Monday and they said that my order was cancelled due to none in stock and then proceeded to hang up on me  
 
No e-mail was sent to me telling me this.  
 
I called back later to make sure that they did not hit up my checking account, they did not. When the same guy that I talked to before realized it was me he sent me an e-mail saying that it had to be cancelled.  
 
Customer Service is absolute crap...

DigitalSuperDeals.com is a "Bait and Switch" operation. No where on the site was the camera I ordered said to be "Refurbished". If it did, it would not have ordered it. I was offered a "New camera" for a higher price. I cancelled the order, the person immediately hung up on me without a cancellation number.
