Update: One drive was DOA. I don't trust the other drive.  
 
Update two: Lagoom's customer service was EXTREMELY helpful. They immediately apologized, promised to look into their shipping methods, and issued me a full credit. I was impressed with their response. I would order again from them (although I would call make sure their shipping was adequate if I was ordering something fragile.)

Everything went well with this order for two Western Digital Hard drives until I opened the package and saw how they had been packed.  
 
I ordered these specific drives because of their supposed longevity. I am tired of drive failures! Yet I have been reading that most drive failures are caused by poor shipping practices.  
 
Lagoom did not ship these fragile drives properly. The two bare drives were rubber banded to each other with a flimsy piece of cardboard between them and a thin layer of SMALL dimpled bubble wrap was around them. Then the drives were simply thrown into a box and shipped via FedEX.  
 
There was no indication on the box that this package was fragile.  
 
Hard drives ARE extremely fragile and to drop one is to almost certainly ensure its early demise. No hard drive manufacturer will even accept a return without 'retail packaging" which cushions the drive with thick foam or other secure shock-proof packaging.

Ordered on Tuesday morning, delivered on Thursday morning ... and I only asked for three-day delivery! Everything was well-packaged. And, the pricing was excellent. I'll definitely shop here again.

This is my 2nd time ordering from Lagoom and as before they are very quick to ship. The item is packed well and functions perfectly. I couldn't ask for a better ordering experience. I will definitely order from them again.

I'm pleasantly surprised with Lagoom.com. They were the first to offer Intel's DG45ID matx board while other retailers were quoting shipment times a month away. Due to low availability, I was expecting the order to go into backorder or pending status, but instead it was accepted and processed the next day. Shipment was fast, order processed on Tue, shipped on Wed, and I received it on Friday. This retailer is excellent, and I would definitely purchase from them again.

This was my first time dealing with Lagoom.com and they did not disappoint. I was able to purchase a hard-to-find item at an unbelievable price. Shipping was quick, they even called before shipping to verify the order (a nice professional touch). The product (an expensive LCD monitor) came shipped in a huge box well padded with air-bags. I've gotten LCD sets from other vendors and they just ship with the retail boxing. Lagoom went the extra step to keep the item secure. No dead pixels, perfectly new-in-box. Cheaper prices then leading competitors. Would order again for sure.

I was wary of this site because the prices seemed to good to be true, but I was really impressed. Very professional and shipped very fast. I will be bringing my business to this site from now on.

Con: International payment isn't possible with Credit card (only wire transfer).

Specials are clearly listed and rotated on the front page. Item details are complete and easily viewed. Shipping options are robust and clear. Depending on time of day, order tracking information is available as soon as the order is placed. I was completely satisfied with my ordering experience.

Ordered the Innovative Office Products 7500-1500-104 monitor arm to hold an NEC 30" monitor. Lagoom had the best price I could find and shipped the next day, providing tracking numbers. The order arrived on schedule and was well packed (double boxed). The arm itself is awesome, more like something NASA would make than a piece of computer furniture, so kudos to Lagoom for stocking excellent products.

Initial opinion of this seller was good...however, after receiving the product and opening the package, it turns out that the hard-drive has an incompatible adapter. Of course after calling the company I find out that I'm pretty much screwed as I can pay a $25 restocking fee (plus shipping of course) or try to find an adapter (so I can spend more money). I am not satisfied with this seller at all and I would recommend calling them before purchasing an item because it appears that they "have so many products that they can not list all of the specifications or descriptions."
