DO NOT SHOP HERE. The speakers that we ordered from Stootsi, listed as "repackaged," arrived quickly. However, the subwoofer was badly scuffed, one satellite speaker was SNAPPED IN HALF, and the volume controls don't work at all. Don't buy ANYTHING here unless you want to waste your money on broken, defective merchandise. What they get away with ought to be illegal. And good luck trying to contact any sort of customer service, as the invoice is about as bare-bones as it gets. Buyer beware this scam of a company.

Absolutely horrible. Stootsi offered random PC games for $0.25 each with no limit, and the shipping for all of them was only $5. They started shipping the smaller orders first, then apparently realized that they were going to lose a lot of money on the larger orders because of the flat-rate shipping. They sent out several updates over the next two weeks, promising that all of the orders would ship but offering to let us cancel if we wished. They said that they had thousands of different titles in stock, the problem was just a logistic one. Then after 20 days they just canceled all of the remaining orders.
I ordered 60 games and got nothing but frustration and disappointment. They did send me a $5 coupon, but I won't be using it because I won't ever be shopping with Stootsi again.

I purchased one of the refurbished Xbox 360s for $189.99 + $6.00 shipping. The shipping was delayed (Stootsi informed me of this via email), and it was dead on arrival. I contacted their RMA department and they instructed me to use the 60-day warranty that came with it, so I did so and payed the additional 15 or so dollars out of my pocket to have it shipped to Encore Repair Services. It took approximately 40 days from the time I shipped it to the time I received it again, and it had not been fixed. This time I contacted Stootsi and kindly asked to return the merchandise. They allowed me to return the merchandise, but I had to pay another $15 for shipping. In their defense they did issue a $15 coupon for all I had been through, but that's still money that I have to spend at Stootsi.
A week later I received an email from Paypal stating that I had been refunded, but I had only been given a partial refund. Upon contacting customer support via phone they told me that because I had a warranty on the item they had charged a restocking fee (despite the fact that their returns policy does not currently state this anywhere). Luckily I had a very nice customer service representative who immediately understood my frustration and waived the restocking fee.
So in summary: Stootsi sent a DOA item with a 60 day warranty to a repair service that is incapable of repairing the item and charges to have it shipped to them, and still expected that they would get about $30 out of me. In total I am at a loss of $6.00 for original shipping, $15.00 for shipping to the "repair" company, and another $15.00 for shipping back to Stootsi (which they issued a store coupon for in an attempt to replace it). That is a total loss of about $36.00 if you count not being able to retain the $15.00 coupon as actual money. I wonder how many people have been fooled and how much money Stootsi has made from people paying a restocking fee for products that they eventually return that didn't work and Stootsi never tested to begin with.
This has been a very disappointing experience, and if I wasn't watching my refund closely I would have been scammed for another $30.00 in "restocking fees" that were not advertised or stated anywhere. I have purchased from them one other time after that, and while I did receive my order correctly, shipping was dreadfully slow again.
I don't know that I will ever do business with this company again (other than to cash in my $15.00 coupon).

Worst online store I've ever ordered from!!! Do not ever order from them. Read other reviews, you will see that I am only one of hundreds of unsatisfied customers.
I ordered an assortment of PC games, and they were never shipped. Stootsi held my money for over 4 weeks, and kept telling customers that things were just running slow, but that no orders would be canceled. Well, after another 2 weeks of no communication, receiving UPS tracking numbers, then receiving notifications of canceled tracking numbers, orders were finally canceled.
When it came time to receive my refund, they refused to refund my tax. It took 3 e-mails to Stootsi to get this refund. Other customers have yet to receive refunds, and some are only receiving partial refunds. And get this: Stootsi is actually trying to refund customers' money IN THE FORM OF STOOTSI GIFT CERTIFICATES!!!
This company is shady as heck, and their business practices are awful. Do not order form them. EVER.

I took part in "Stootsi Red Friday Giveaway - 1 FREE item from our cold, stinky warehouse" promotional event and never received the item. I just get spam from them every once in a while.

Stootsi had a deal , where you could order as many PC games as you liked for 25 cents each with 5 dollars total shipping. In the product description they mentioned ordering 250. I ordered 100.
They were meant to ship out the week of the 8/11, which didn't happen, Stootsi sent an email om Tuesday 8/19 explaining that they were swamped and that the items would defiantly go out by the end of the week. The items didn't go out by the end of the week and I didn't hear from Stootsi again until Thursday 8/28. In this last email Sootsi annouced that they were going to cancel my order and refund my money. Nearly a month after I made the order and 3 weeks after the ship date they decided to cancel my order without consulting me. Also they have not yet refunded my money. This was the first time I had ordered from Stootsi and I will not be ordering from them again.

This review is in reference to the $0.25 random PC games fiasco.
Stootis issued multiple estimates for a shipping date. 2 UPS shipping labels/tracking numbers were generated. Orders were promised to ship and not be cancelled.
Even though their product description mentioned pricing if you were to order 250 games, they seemed to have no intention of shipping any orders for quantities greater than 40.
Instead of admitting that, they just held customers money hoping they would request the order to be cancelled.
22 days after my order was placed, stootsi cancelled all outstanding orders (even for those who requested not to have their orders cancelled).
For insult, they included a $5.00 coupon towards a future purchase.

I have had problems with both of the orders I have placed with this company. The first was for 2 "open box" controllers for PS2 guitar hero. Both controllers were defective and actually used-- one actually had corroded batteries in it upon opening. However, I never complained as they were gifts for my nieces and their mother simply exchanged them at a local store that carried the controllers. My second order is where I am really upset with Stootsi. I ordered 200 computers games back on 8/6/08. Finally on 8/28/08, after several inquiries on status, I receive my order-- and I only have 20 games instead of 200 as ordered. I am extremely disappointed in this company and do not intend to order from them again, nor do I intend to recommend this company to anyone. All of the other 1-sale-a-day type companies have been wonderful to work with and I have never had any problems. Not sure what the deal with Stootsi is...

I purchased Ipod/MP3 Player Universal Earbud Sport Clip Earphones - 5 Pack*5 order. The total was 25 earbud. The price is okay. The earbud is like 1 time used. It feel very cheap. for less than $1 an earbud I can't expect more. This review was modified by its author, joel2007, on

Beware of any open box items. They don't test them. If you get a broken one you have to pay to ship it back. Then you get to choose to get your money back (minus the cost of paying to ship it back) or a replacement product.
They do not test any replacement products. So the cycle can continue.
I posted this policy on their forums when they have open box items, and I got banned from their site for it.
I'm not pointing fingers, I'm just making it well known to everyone.
They say they don't edit postings, but they will delete them and ban the user for stating their policy.

Even though I selected USPS shipping for my order, and had my order sent to my PO Box, stootsi decided to send my order UPS. When I emailed them to ask about this, they were unapologetic, and told me I would have to supply another address.
They were quick to offer a refund, but over a week later they still haven't issued a refund. In all this time and with 5 chances to offer any apology at all in their email, they have not once apologized. Their emails are abrubt and while not rude, they're not polite either. If you make the mistake of ordering from this company do not expect any customer service. This review was modified by its author, zwhite, on

Beware. Ordered a keyboard listed as NEW. They shipped the product in the retail box and not a standard shipping box, thus damaging the box. But I didn't think anything of it except for the fact that they wanted to save money on shipping.
I opened the keyboard and the bags were ripped, twisty ties were lying all over the place. They sent me a USED keyboard. In addition, it had a grimy sticky substance all over the keys which I cleaned off. I plugged it in and it was DOA. Wanted to return it for a replacement, but instead they wanted to refund me.
They didn't even refund the whole order.
Therefore, in order to ship it back and get a partial refund, I lost $15 for a product I don't even have on THEIR MISTAKE.
Listing a product as new and shipping me a clearly used, damaged, and defective product without refunding everything I paid is pretty unacceptable. Their responses take a few days and they have yet to respond to my last response I sent.

Worst Company Ever. I ordered random stuff from them and it was pretty much crap. Plus all of the PC software that I bought from them they cancelled. I really thought they were a clever, fun, little company, but it turns out they are just a little company.
