I PLACED AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AND THEN WOULD NOT SHIP UNTIL I TALK WITH THEM ON THE PHONE. THEY ADVERTISE AT A REALLY LOW PRICE, THEN TRY TO SELL YOU MORE SERVICES OR MERCHANDISE AND IF YOU DON'T BUY, THEY CANCEL THE ORDER. BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS BORDER ON FRAUD!!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE BARRED FROM SELLING ON THE INTERNET. THEY ARE DECEPTIVE AND DISHONEST IN THEIR DEALINGS. THEY CANCELED MY ORDER AND I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. BUYER BEWARE!!! This review was modified by its author, MAGNA66, on

Ordered 2 of the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. Stootsi web site says they were brand new in retail packaging. Received 2 opened, used, damaged units. It was absolutely the worst experience any customer could have. Would NOT buy from Stootsi again and would NOT recommend this website to anyone. STAY AWAY!

Worst company ever. They advertised an Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 in good condition. While I don't normally buy used things I figured I'd give them a chance since they had quite a few good reviews. I receive the first mouse and it looks like it has been heavily used. I plug it in and there is a short in the wire so whenever I move it a certain way it cuts out for 10 seconds. Not only that, the mouse feet are so scratched up and worn down that it scratches up my mousepad anytime I move it.
I called stootsi and they offered to send a replacement out first thing the next morning. I received this 3 days later. This replacement mouse, ever after registering my precise complaints with them, had the same problems as the first. Where the mouse feet where scratched up on the first, this one was missing one whole foot and the other 3 were just as worn as the ones on the first.
I contacted stootsi again asking for them just to send me a new one of these mouses (which I saw in stock on their website) and they refused to do so. Instead they told ME to send my item back to them and they will refund me. Naturally I told them they are insane if they think I'm going to ship back 2 defective items on my money when they are too worthless to even test or look at the products they are selling.
At this point they are sending me a label to return the defective items. I'll let you know if they can even manage to give me a refund. STAY AWAY!

3 Orders, 3 defective items. I bought my first DVD Recorder from them and it did not read DVD-R, RW's. Still a decent dvd player so they offered me a $10.00 refund. It was a $20.00 purchase, so I was okay with that. Bought the same item again, same problem, while I was waiting for my second order I bought a PA system. Before I received the PA system, my second DVD-Recorder came and same problem. Stootsi issued me an RMA. In the meantime the PA I ordered came in and within the first 5 minutes of unpacking it, the whole face of a drawer included on one of the speakers came off. Rather than go through the headache of sending it back as it could be fixed, Stootsi and I came to an agreement. They would just send me another DVD recorder at no charge. They did that. Great deals, but 3 strikes in a row does not make the savings worth my time and effort.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. The speakers that we ordered from Stootsi, listed as "repackaged," arrived quickly. However, the subwoofer was badly scuffed, one satellite speaker was SNAPPED IN HALF, and the volume controls don't work at all. Don't buy ANYTHING here unless you want to waste your money on broken, defective merchandise. What they get away with ought to be illegal. And good luck trying to contact any sort of customer service, as the invoice is about as bare-bones as it gets. Buyer beware this scam of a company.

Very upset, I ordered an S-Video Cable for my Playstation 3 made by Rocketfish. The order came in reasonable time but it was a Component cable instead. When I ask for an exchange for what I order, which really cost less than the cable I received I was told all they could do is refund the product. Then I could reorder it and hope I get the right one.

Awful seller. This particular item is attractively priced batteries. Some packages had been opened and subsequently taped shut. Some packages are about to expire. Previous and subsequent orders were full of errors and cancellations. Customer service is slow to respond, and no help at all. No RMA number or return shipping provided.

Horrible experience. The Roomba was completely filthy and did not even work. The entire Roomba was covered in dirt and FILLED with the grossest hair and dust I have ever seen. I have no idea how this company stays in business because I have had no luck contacting anyone to notify them and send it back. I will never shop at stootsi again.

My "One Random PC Game for a Penny + Penny Shipping" from Stootsi was a slots CD game from 1998 'optimized for Windows 98'. I was very disappointed in the game selection. I did not even have a machine that I could run it on! This review was modified by its author, dand2400, on

Absolutely horrible. Stootsi offered random PC games for $0.25 each with no limit, and the shipping for all of them was only $5. They started shipping the smaller orders first, then apparently realized that they were going to lose a lot of money on the larger orders because of the flat-rate shipping. They sent out several updates over the next two weeks, promising that all of the orders would ship but offering to let us cancel if we wished. They said that they had thousands of different titles in stock, the problem was just a logistic one. Then after 20 days they just canceled all of the remaining orders.
I ordered 60 games and got nothing but frustration and disappointment. They did send me a $5 coupon, but I won't be using it because I won't ever be shopping with Stootsi again.

Worst Company Ever. I ordered random stuff from them and it was pretty much crap. Plus all of the PC software that I bought from them they cancelled. I really thought they were a clever, fun, little company, but it turns out they are just a little company.

I purchased one of the refurbished Xbox 360s for $189.99 + $6.00 shipping. The shipping was delayed (Stootsi informed me of this via email), and it was dead on arrival. I contacted their RMA department and they instructed me to use the 60-day warranty that came with it, so I did so and payed the additional 15 or so dollars out of my pocket to have it shipped to Encore Repair Services. It took approximately 40 days from the time I shipped it to the time I received it again, and it had not been fixed. This time I contacted Stootsi and kindly asked to return the merchandise. They allowed me to return the merchandise, but I had to pay another $15 for shipping. In their defense they did issue a $15 coupon for all I had been through, but that's still money that I have to spend at Stootsi.
A week later I received an email from Paypal stating that I had been refunded, but I had only been given a partial refund. Upon contacting customer support via phone they told me that because I had a warranty on the item they had charged a restocking fee (despite the fact that their returns policy does not currently state this anywhere). Luckily I had a very nice customer service representative who immediately understood my frustration and waived the restocking fee.
So in summary: Stootsi sent a DOA item with a 60 day warranty to a repair service that is incapable of repairing the item and charges to have it shipped to them, and still expected that they would get about $30 out of me. In total I am at a loss of $6.00 for original shipping, $15.00 for shipping to the "repair" company, and another $15.00 for shipping back to Stootsi (which they issued a store coupon for in an attempt to replace it). That is a total loss of about $36.00 if you count not being able to retain the $15.00 coupon as actual money. I wonder how many people have been fooled and how much money Stootsi has made from people paying a restocking fee for products that they eventually return that didn't work and Stootsi never tested to begin with.
This has been a very disappointing experience, and if I wasn't watching my refund closely I would have been scammed for another $30.00 in "restocking fees" that were not advertised or stated anywhere. I have purchased from them one other time after that, and while I did receive my order correctly, shipping was dreadfully slow again.
I don't know that I will ever do business with this company again (other than to cash in my $15.00 coupon).
