This is the second computer that I bought from ABS The first one bought in 2000 is still working great. The reason I like A B S is the internal parts they use ( they use the best parts ). their customer service is very good . I rate this company the best in the business

Last year I needed a new PC, and in the past I had always built my own computers, so I started doing so again. I went to newegg, and a few other websites for PC parts and put added up all the components I wanted in my new PC. After I had my system planned out nicely, I decided to look at a few companys to see what type of computers they offered, and for which prices. There was an Alienware system very similar to the one I decided to build for myself, but the problem is, they were charging about $800 more than the computer components themselves cost. I suppose that was the fee for the case with the little alien head on it? Not worth it, at all. Then I stumbled upon ABS. It had just what I wanted, but for a *sane* price. Much cheaper than alienware, and it was essentialy the same machine. I decided to go with ABS, rather than building the system myself, because the price was nearly the same, AND they offered friendly support. When I recieved my computer, it had already been tested and benchmarked by them, which really impressed me. They even included a portfolio with all the information about my computer, including printouts of several benchmarks they ran on the system.
I'd reccomend going with ABS to anybody who wants a good bang for their buck, and nice customer service.

I bought my laptop to use when I was deploying to Iraq last year. My deployment date got changed so I ended up leaving a week earlier than I was supposed to, which was the day before my computer was scheduled to be delivered to me. I called ABS and they expedited the building of my computer for me and got it shipped overnight to me so I got it 30 minutes before I had to walk out the door to leave! FedEx was also awesome as I called them to let them know I was leaving for Iraq and the delivery guy dropped everything and came straight to my house when I called.
The computer runs like a champ, I used it for a month in Kuwait where the temperature is 130 degrees plus humidity during the day and around 110 at night. I then spent 6 months in Iraq where the temperatures were around 120 during the day and then during the winter dropped to around 10 degrees on average, and my laptop never had a single problem. It gets really hot if I forget to put it on the cooling pad, but as long as I have that on I have yet to have a single problem with the computer.
I would definitely recommend ABS to anyone.

I have owned my pc from ABS going on now for 8 years. Still running ok, for a machine it's age. I have had to do only a few routine things, such as replace my hard drive and sound card. Otherwise, still fires up. Thx ABS, customer support has always been helpful as well.

ABS has given me a great computer! From the beginning of the order there was a slight problem, and they helped me solve it! Even as I asked questions through e-mail, they replied a lot quicker than I expected. I want to thank Jane, especially for helping me through every e-mail I sent. Last June, I purchased a laptop from ABS for my graduating senior to take to college. One of the major selling points for me was that ABS is name-brand specific on the components used, and doesn't add on a lot of "garbage" software. I can't tell you how pleased I am with the purchase!
Ordering the laptop was easy, shipping was fast, and customer service was friendly, efficient, and easy to understand.
I would (and have) recommend ABS to anyone shopping for a high quality computer at a reasonable price!

I recently bought an Ultimate X8 after going through reviews, Forum entries, etc. Because of some problem with my particular 4G configuration, I called ABS Tech Support for help. A dispatcher took my name and phone number and promised that I would be called back. I was !! About twenty minutes later by a Tech called James. He stepped me through several tests and was very thorough in explaining his rationale. He made the decision that the PC had to be returned for corrective action. At that point, most techs would turn the problem over and get on with other business but James retained ownership and more than that ... became a customer advocate supplying supporting evidence to Engineering. This is virtually unheard of in todays PC manufacturing environment and I congratulate ABS and in particular, James of Tech Support for their high level of support in a post-sales situations. I will have no hesitation in recommending ABS to anyone I encounter who is considering such a purchase. I just received my Gladiator Extreme three days ago and so far everything has exceeded expectations. I ordered online tailored to my needs (mainly gaming).
Everything showed up as ordered (1 day early). I ordered a Nighthawk mid tower case that when I opened it up the support beam that houses the Hard drive had buckled slightly from... who knows what - I'm thinking shipping somehow - but the support was bent and the hard drive and the slot holders for extra hard drives had fallen into a little pile. No big deal - Bent the bar back and arranged everything the way it should be. I'll probably reinforce the bar, slightly, just in case. When I turned on the computer it booted right up with no problems or errors. The system is running great and I've had no need to contact technical support. Always make sure you check out the computer when It arrives. I'm extremely satisfied with ABS thus far and expect to order from them again in the future.

This is the best computer I ever bought!
And the ABS tech support people are very knowledgeable, courteous, and most helpful. They always go the extra mile. I would strongly advise you to check ABS when you're shopping for your hardware.

The machine I ordered differed greatly from the machine we received. In my non-expert opinion, with the exception of the graphics card (ordered a 8800GTS, received a 7600GT), we received a better machine.
It has turned out to be a good machine.

If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have ordered any extras, like the t.v. tuner or the sound card. I like the machine now, it was just a lot of problems in the beginning.

ABS service has been excellent for me. My computer has been out of warranty for some time. When I needed help identifying a proper replacement part, I received a prompt response with the information that I needed. I was able to ge the part from ABS. It arrived with lightning speed. Good Job!

Great buying experience. Having had bad experiences with other online gaming computer makers, I read the reviews for ABS and decided to go with them. It turned out to be a good decision as I ordered my pc on a Saturday and received it that Friday. Upon initial inspection, there were not any loose parts, the cables were neatly hidden within the case and no dents or scratches. It booted up the first time with no hiccups and has been running smoothly so far.
They provide customer service hours on the weekends, which is a plus, and I wasn't on hold for to long.
So far, ABS seems to offer a great product and customer support at a competitve price.

Having purchased a system from ABS about 5 years ago, I felt confident buying from them again.
On 11/16/06 I Ordered the Ultimate X8 II configured to my specs, a viewsonic LCD, Klipsch 2.1 speakers, Saitek keyboard, laser mouse, and recieved everything, fully tested with data, the same week. The only problems were a broken door magnet and also the right channel on the Klipsch Pro Media speakers was not working. I called customer support and they answered right away. I'm sorry I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. He overnighted me the magnet along with a prepaid FedEx shipping label. FedEx dropped off the magnet and took the speakers all in one move. That was on a Monday. Friday a new set of speakers arrived shipping prepaid. The system is awesome and purrs along perfectly. I can't say enough good things about their customer support. They are slightly more expensive but trust me, if you want peace of mind, it's worth it.
