I ordered a camcorder battery and charger from Sterling on Monday 28th at 3:45 pm and paid $6.99 shipping by USPS and was very surprised that package arrived FedEx on 30th (<48h). Fast service. Battery charged OK and was recognised by Sony Camcorder with appropriate time remaining shown on camcoder (guide to capacity). It is hard to judge the quality of Chinese batteries but the box appears to be from exact same maker as previously ordered batteries from Sterling for my Canon 20D, which I never switch off, and these batteries last for days/weeks with 4 gig compact flash cards. Not satisfied. I ordered two Canon BP-2L14 batteries from Sterling Technologies. But when I received the package, it contained two BP-2L12 batteries instead. The invoice were still listed as BP-2L14 and I was charged for higher BP-2L14 price. When I called their customer service. I was told that they ran out of BP-2L14 batteries. But I was never informed about the out of stock issue. They just simply switched to BP-2L12 battery. I also had to argue to get my credit back for getting the cheaper BP-2L12.

Based on recommendations from a popular digital photography website (DPreview.com), I purchased two BP-511 camera batteries and a charger from sterlingtek.com. I placed the order on Friday, 3/2/07 with the items being shipped to GA. I received the complete order on Monday, 3/5/07. Extremely fast turnaround! Everything works fine. One very minor complaint though...the batteries are just a tad snug in my EOS 10D's add-on BG-ED3 battery grip but I solved that problem by placing a piece of scotch tape on the flat side of each battery with a folded piece hanging off the end. The tape gives me a nice pull tab to easily slide the batteries out. They both fit in the camera's regular battery chamber just fine without the need for the tape pull tab. They also fit fine in the battery chamber my wife's Digital Rebel also without the need for the pull tab.  
 
The battery charger is much more compact and therefore convenient than the one that came with my camera. I will definitely order from SterlingTEK again!

Bought 3 batteries from SterlingTek for two different cameras. Not only do they have the best prices around, but their shipping prices and speed simply can't be beat. I had the batteries sitting on my doorstep the 3rd day. All 3 batteries work great and have already lasted more than the OEM batteries.

This is my second order from Sterlingtek. The first was batteries for my Rebel XT. I've been using them for some time now and have been very happy, especially for the price compared to Canon's batteries. When I got my wife a used Digital Rebel I ordered two batteries for her camera. We got them quickly and they were on sale too. I'll definitely order again and recommend Sterlingtek.

I would like to say that this is an A-1 company. I ordered 2 bp-511 batteries and charger yesterday and it was delivered the very next day. It was well packaged although there were no general instructions its not hard to figure out. So you guys get 2 thumbs up from me.

Excellent customer service. I bought a Canon battery BP511 replacement and a battery charger. Order placed on 7/11 and delivered on 7/14. I emailed them for the USPS tracking number and got the response promptly.  
 
I wrote this review to support those online stores who really care about their customers. I am glad that I read the reviews at Resellerratings.com before I made the decision.  
 
Since I am from China and both products are made in China, I will definitely use this store again.

Great store. Ordered the NB2LH battery on Tuesday and on Friday it was delivered. The battery cover said NB2L, but checked the power rating, its NB2LH all right. Looks like something has to be fixed in packing department! But I am not complaining, I got the right part quickly

I've been using Sterlingtek batteries for two years now, in heavy, professional use (Canon 10d/20d/5d + rebels), and can vouch for them with confidence -- their Canon lithiums are every bit as good as the name brand ones, and their customer service has lived up to reputation -- they goofed on my last order, and they responded politely and swiftly when I called, and made things right. Keeps me loyal!

This is my second great experience ordering from SterlingTEK.  
The batteries have very high quality fit and finish, equal to the Canon orginal, and their capacity is higher. I've only had them for a few weeks but charge-holding appears excellent. In addition, when charging they do not get very warm, maybe better than the Canon original. This is critical for long battery life. The batteries from my previous order are doing well after a year so I expect these will also hold up over time. Shipping was very prompt and protective packaging suitable. I will order from these folks again and recommend them highly.

Super great fast shipping. Ordered afternoon on a friday, on a major holiday weekend, got my order on monday! I even got free shipping because I pushed the order up over $60. Its like they gave me a free battery! This site was highly recomended by people at photography-on-the.net and they were right. I would definitly order from them again.  
 
Update: 27April06 I got an email from resellerratings asking me if I needed to change my review of Sterling Tek, they were concerned that I had written my review so quickly after ordering. Well I wrote the review so quickly because, they shipped the product so quickly!!! And they did it for free!!! Well in hind sight I do now need to update my review, because I had several questions about the products that I ordered(never having used them before), and I have to tell you that the girl that answered my phone calls was extremely nice, even when I called 3 or 4 times in one night. I got all my questions out and she was very nice and helpfull. Not "polite-for-the-customer", but genuinely nice. I need to bump up their ratings by 2 points across the board... but I already gave them the max!!! Check out photography-on-the.net, they all have nothing but glowing reports about these guys.
