I ordered a ATI 9700 oem because it was the cheapest on pricewatch. I was unhappy off the bat because they had shipped in in a little box then put inside a huge box with no packing stuffing or anything. The card arrived DOA or just didn't work in my motherboard since I found out later there was compability issues when there wasn't supposed to be. I got an RMA, sent it back, which I paid for ($8.92). Which is understandable, since it was probably the motherboard and not the card. I sent it back on 1/8/03 and JUST TODAY did I receive the money back in my checking account. And only the price of the card and not the original shipping amount.  
 
Needless to say, this company seems shady. Those with good transacations be thankful. I would recommend paying a little more and just getting all your stuff from newegg, which I did with the rest of my computer parts. I ordered about seven different parts, had them shipped in good time, and only paid $20 for shipping. Great deal and great service.  
 
As for FTI, I wont be going back.

I ordered a pentium 2.4 boxed cpu with a 533 bus speed. My sales order number was 241571 from the return email I recieved before the order was shipped. When I recieved the order I got a pentium 2.4 with a 400 bus speed which is significently lower performance and not as advertised. The order was evidently edited because they no longer had the 533 bus speed in stock so the substituted the slower 400 one. The order number on the invoice I recieved with the shipment was 202001, which was different from my original order I placed on the internet, that is how I know they made the switch. I had already paid 47.91 dollars shipping which was a jip to say the least. It really should have cost around 10 dollars to ship the items I bought, ( 1 motherboard, 1 CPU, 1 video card and a memory stick), about 5 pounds all together. They now want me to pay shipping back to them again for their mistake. If I return the whole order and cancel it I am out of all of the shipping I paid original and the what ever it cost to ship it back again ( probably about 8 to 9 dollars) more, so I will have lost around 60 dollars for doing this transaction. I will never do business with this company again. Read their policies before you order anything - they are designed to make you keep what ever they choose to send you because you cannot afford to send it back.

After much shopping around, I decided to order an ATI Radeon 9700 pro from these guys, since they had the lowest price. What they failed to mention was that the card in question was significantly underclocked (compared to every other oem radeon 9700 pro board). I found this out the day after I ordered it, but I was prepared to live with it, since it was still a fast card.  
 
My trouble began when the card arrived DOA. I called their RMA dept and asked for a cross ship, which they agreed to. Two weeks later, I called to check on the status only to find out they never shipped it. So, I ended up sending the DOA card back to them for a refund. And guess what they refunded? Just the price of the card, not even the original shipping charges!  
 
So, it cost me darn near $20 and several weeks' worth of time just for me to test a DOA card for them. Thanks a lot FTI, you'll never see me again!

Since FTI was in my area I called them up to see if they allowed for pick-ups and they said they did. However when I get to their location, the woman working there acts like she never dealt with a customer face to face before. She was very short tempered and rude the wholetime. Generally everyone there was extremely rude, like they were doing me a favor for letting me buy something from them

I ordered the card on a wednesday, i had a different shipping and billing address,they contacted me early thursday morning, and it arrived on friday. Very pleased with the price, product, and time. Wish they would notify you when they have shipped it and provide you with a tracking number. I emailed them for one and they promptly provided it though. Good company.

Easy to browser site and very quick shipment. I ordered at 1pm and it was shipped that day. Received the video card today and it was very well packaged and works like a champ.

I ordered the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro OEM card based on FTIComputers advertised price of $278 on PriceWatch.com on December 23. Because of Christmas Eve and Christmas the order didn't get processed until the the 26th. I went ahead and paid an extra $18 for next day delivery and received the card the next morning, Friday, on the 27th. I had talked to the sales department prior to placing my order to see when the card would actually go out because I knew I was up against the holidays and they were very forthright about it, and said I would get on the day I did. Cool. I can handle that.  
 
When I received the package from UPS and opened it up, to my horror there was a Encore V.92 Fax Modem retail box in it with a bag of video connectors, software, and manual. I thought for sure my order had been screwed up. I was fuming! I had been burned in the past by some online retailers. So I got on the phone and started dialing FTIComputing's number when a little voice in my head said, "Check inside the box". I stopped dialing, put the phone back on the hook. Grabbed the modem box and opened it up. Behold the ATI Radeon Pro 9700 card was inside. Carefully placed inside an antistatic bag. I had not been screwed after all. Whew! FTI was concerned enough about the part getting to me in good shape and because it was OEM, they used an empty box to ship it in. Now, they could have used a plain box, but they saved themselves money - and ultimately me, by using an existing part box they didn't have to pay for. May I just suggest they place a sticker or something on it indicating that its just the box and not the part depicted on the box. Overall, a very good experience with FTIComputer and I will purchase from them again in the future.

Thought the ChainTech GeForce 4 TI 4200 I was getting was a good deal. Boy was I wrong. The card came dead on arrival. I had to pay an additional $10.00 to send it back. During the time it took them to get things sorted the price of the card dropped an additional $2.00 so that was ultimately $12.00 lost. The cost of which I could have originally just gone to a local store and gotten the next card up and saved about a months time.

I purchased a Gigabyte ATI Radeon 9700 Pro card online. I don't think I received a confirmation email, but I may have overlooked it in the ton of spam I get each day. FTIComputer's website allows you to track your order and shipment - a feature I wish all online resellers offered. The video card arrived at my house today (7 days later). Works great, excellent product, and pretty easy transaction. I'd purchase from this reseller again.

ordered parts and Sunday took especially care to check availability - all was listed as in stock. Shipping was stated to be within 24-48 hours both on vendors web-site as well as price-watch. >By thursday I had still not received anything and called the company only to be told they had not sent my order and would not get some of my parts until next Monday. I was never advised of the delays nor was a partial shipment sent.  
I felt very uncomfortable with the way the issue was handled and cancelled my order, and I will never deal with the company again.

Found out about them through PriceWatch.com. Contacted FTIcomputer with some questions about a 400W Dual fan power supply; they were pretty helpful.  
Ordered the supply, and quickly got and email order confirmation. Got the UPS ship notification the same day. Received the power supply in good condition and it seems to work just fine. I had a good experience with FTIcomputer and would order from them again.  

I purchase a Radeon 7500 from this company, the card description stated that the card had a DVI port. On arivel, the card had no such port and was just an LE version of the better, card. Attempted to get an RMA 3 times with the company and was refused. They insisted they had sent me the right card. They even changed the Web sites description of the card. I would never buy from them again!

Ordered a Chaintech GeForce4 TI-4200 (w/128 meg memory) on Tuesday Sept. 17. Arrived Thursday Sept 19. Installed it, works great. Would buy from them again.

Purchased a motherboard that was in stock, shipped same day and received in 2 days. Great price, service, shipping, and product quality. I would buy again from them.
