Long story short - very satisfied. On 11 July 2004, Ordered 2 copies of a video card. Site indicated they were were instock and for a good price. Aside from the need to establish an account and the fact that the site pushed to all lower case the password I established, the transaction went very smoothly.
Checked order status on their web-site near 6:00PM EDT. Still showed pending. I called them to find out if there was a problem. I'm told no problem, infact it has already shipped. I asked for and got a UPS tracking number. Hung up.
With the tracking number in hand, checked the UPS web site. They had no record of the shipment. Now, I'm thinking the worst!
Here's the really good part. Tuesday morning, I e-mailed customer service, describing the above and asking for verification. No more than 2 hours later - I received a clear, concise, and complete description of the situation. It turns out the CS Rep was refering to her screen. The computer showed the order shipped, but UPS had not, at that time, picked it up and entered it in their system.
Order was received the afternoon of 14 July 2004 in perfect condition. Installed the first card in one computer that was in the process of being built and it worked perfectly!!
I am very happy with their customer service. Less happy with the timeliness (or lack there of) of their ordering system updates. If the system had been kept a little more current, I would not have been concerned and never have felt the need to test their customer service e-mail response.
