I reluctantly ordered 1000 business cards from this company after reading a bunch of mixed reviews. But I wanted to have my own cards without print ads on the back, and a lower price than the local printers, $49(After coupon) versus $150 local. So I gave these guys a try.
I order on Sep.18th and put the order, double sided full color, on priority ground shipping. They arrived in perfect condition and excellent quality on the 21st! I wasn't even expecting them until wed or Thursday of this week because I ordered on a Friday but they got here on Monday!
Excellent site makes it easy to customize, or like me upload your own design. VERY fast shipping, and excellent quality on the cards I've received. I will be ordering from them again when I need some more printing done!
I've ordered business cards and flyers for my art gallery from overnightprints.com 5 times in the last 2 years. Each time my order was filled perfectly and shipped when expected. I provide my copy as PDFs and you see a preview on the order form that shows how they'll look. Their paper quality is excellent and the print job is perfect. Since I use these to promote my art gallery I wouldn't be re-ordering if the quality wasn't perfect. Upload good quality artwork and you'll receive good quality printing.
I wish I had seen these reviews before shelling out extra money for Overnightprint's bogus "3-day" select service. I placed my order for postcards over a week ago, and I'm still waiting. Customer Service is completely worthless and a waste of time. I will never use this company again.
Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered business cards to be used as tickets for our upcoming dance show. Previously we'd had good experience with overnight prints--their price was reasonable and the quality decent. I was also ordering a number of materials for our dance business at the same time. The materials that weren't as time sensitive arrived 7-10 days after the order was placed. The business card tickets, however, didn't arrive. There was a small glitch where the order was placed on hold because of an error between what the card-creator program showed and what it was actually trying to print, but that was quickly resolved. The cards didn't arrive and didn't arrive, and no shipping confirmation came. Here's the timeline: I ordered the cards on the 20th, fixed them on the 21st, and expected, reasonably, that they arrive by March 31st. The day ticket sales opened, April 3rd, still no tickets. I finally called April 7th to figure out where these tickets could possibly be. I spoke with Terrie, who said that the cards had been printed for a while, but nobody had attached the shipping label and sent them out. I asked that since they had been forgotten for at least a week, if she could expedite the shipping because these were time sensitive. She said she would ensure that would happen and that the cards would arrive by Friday. I got an email confirmation today that said they had been shipped Ground and were currently in Kentucky. I live in Washington state. I called and talked with Terrie and she apologized and said there was nothing to be done and that she wasn't authorized to offer any credit. I asked to speak to her manager and was placed on hold for a few minutes before I talked with Steve. He said that I should have read the fine print on the shipping (Ground) and that orders could be delayed for any reason. I said that if I hadn't called and asked about my order, it might have never been shipped since it was "lost" in production. He had no apology to offer, no offer of credit, nothing. He didn't care that I was a repeat customer (we'd ordered prints from them for years). He said there was nothing he could or would do. And so here I am writing this review. I will never do business with them again. Buyer beware.
I have used OvernightPrints.com throughout the last 3 years and I have encountered several issues but for the most part I have been foruntate enough to have had them resolved.
This recent experience may be the last time though. I placed 6 orders between March 4th and 5th. A week later their system still says the orders do not exist even though I have email and PDF printouts of the screen providing order numbers and confirmation.
So far no luck in getting an answer from customer service or from marketing.
While I have been somewhat satisfied with over the last 3 years it almost seems like they can't get their process straightened out. So it looks like I will have no choice but to go elsewhere for my printing needs.
Same as almost everyone else here. The site suggest your order will be printed almost as soon as you submit it. After reading the FAQ, I understand postcards and some other items take 3 days. It has been 4 days, the order status still says waiting to print. I also selected the expidited ups option. I have sent 2 emails and no response. I am unable to find a phone number. Anyway, they are not good and I do not recomend them.
CAVEAT EMPTOR!
I've been using them for the past couple of years for our corporate materials. Annually we order thousands of dollars worth of printing and try to save where we can with business cards, sell sheets and letterhead by going with overnight. The quality use to be decent but this past year its been real sketchy. Delivery is okay for materials that are not so time sensitive. The customer service is horrible and so is the experience of dealing with refunds. I had a handful of misprints this year and tried refunding but all I got was credit. I came back knowing that business cards have a decent turnout. I used a small portion of my credit for a business card order and had over a hundred dollars remaining. I was told that I forfeited the refund by not using the full amount, "Read the email closely." Thank the rep and manager there for pointing it out.
Take your Macys gift card and buy a pair of socks. Come back and buy a pair of shoes but told you've lost your remaining credit. What happened to the remaining amount???? If you read the back side of the card you would've known to use the full amount. No company would stand a chance in court.
We've reverted back to the roman days, buyer beware.

We are a repeat customer of Overnight Prints for our business cards; and we couldn't be happier. Absolute top-quality product, good service, and fast turnaround time.
Horrible quality! Decent timing and customer service. But what does it really matter at the end of the day when you get crap of a product?
Ordered double-sided rounded corner cards. Took them 2 reprints to get it to any presentable quality. Thought would give them benefit of a doubt and ordered a set for another person in my company. So these monstrosities arrived looking like a first-grader cut them out with scissors and white front faces all sloppy.
It's definitely cheap so you may be getting what you paid for, except the can do it right if they try. Interesting business model...
I HAVE ORDERED CARDS FOR MY CUSTOMERS FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS. EVERY YEAR THEY GET SLOWER AND SLOWER. IF YOU EVER GET TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE THEY MAKE UP A STORY WHY ITS LATE EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR EXPEDITED PRINTING AND SHIPPING. I NEEDED THEM WITHIN 10 DAYS NOW THEY TELL ME IT WILL BE 12-15 AT LEAST. I WILL NEVER USE SOMEONE AGAIN WHO STATES THEY ARE IN BUSINESS IN CALIFORNIA AN SHIP FROM KENTUCKY!!!! CHARLES B.
DO NOT USE Overnightprints.com
I placed an order on Oct. 22 and paid for 3 day rush delivery. According to thier site when ordering they should have been in my hands by no later than Oct. 29.
I called on Oct 28 when they still have not shipped. I was told they would ship that night and offered a refund of my shipping (I had to haggle with them for that). Oct 29 and Oct 30 were the same as the day before, I had to call and see why they still had not shipped my order. Both time I was given the run around saying “it will ship tonight”. By Oct 31 and it still had not shipped I was pretty upset and called them one more time. I actually got to a supervisor this time. She said the best she can do is refund less than half of my shipping charges “because there’s a handling charge involved” (WHAT?? I should be getting double my shipping due a failure to handle my order!). She also said they would have to reprint my order and the soonest that I would get them would be on Nov 11. So now we go from having paid for 3 day shipping to having to pay extra to get an order over 3 weeks late???
Anyone looking to order a print job, DON’T waste time or money on Overnightprints
I found another thread that mentions a “Danny Kemp” I’ll try to email him at marketing@overnightprints.com to see what he plans on doing to recify the situation before I submit a complaint with the BBB.
As a professional designer, i've been using Overnight Prints for several years for business card orders for my clients - though the cards never seemed to arrive on time, I always thought the quality was good.
recently though i've had to contact customer service because they simply didn't include half of the order. After several unanswered emails I finally got a hold of someone on the phone and they assured me that they would overnight the cards to us... its been 2 weeks since then for a total of almost two months of not hving the business cards...
The customer service rep also mentioned that if you read the fine print on their service agreement they actually make absolutely no guarantees for turnaroudn time unless you pick expedited shipping! What UPS shipping has to do with printing turnaround time is absolutly beyond me and the customer service rep could say nothing but read the same lines of text over and over until I was too bored and furstrated to stay on the phone with her.
This is by far the worst customer service of any printer I've ever worked with...
Ditto on everything you've already read about Overnight Prints. These guys are a NIGHTMARE to do business with - avoid them at all cost!
My question for everyone is this - for greeting card printing, are there any online printing companies that are competitors of Overnight Prints that anyone here recommends?
Customer Service is VERY POOR!‎ - Brian‎ - Today
I've used OvernightPrints a number of times and been relatively happy, however recently that changed when I needed to contact their "24/7 Customer Support."
I needed to call because I received an order that was printed upside down and I needed to request a reprint. I called 6 times total and waited on hold for a total of 3 hours. on my 4th try I spoke with someone who took my name and promised a manager would be calling me back shortly... the manager never did. On my 6th try I finally spoke with a guy in reprints (after waiting on hold for 15 minutes) he kindly informed me that they were unable to reprint them at this time because they've been making too many printing errors.
They lost a customer in me. Its not worth your money or TIME.
I have just had the most horrendous run in with a company in my life. All over $35 in charges. I'm so pissed off that I created this social network, where everyone can come and share their grievances. Hopefully one day someone with some sense over there will read this site and start making serious changes. Post all your thoughts here kind people.
