Rip off artists! I ordered a Canon 30D camera from them, and they sent me an email asking me to call in and confirm the order. Upon calling, the sales rep Jessie asked, "Why did you order the international model? The menus are in Japanese." He then informed me that I had somehow agreed to some sort of terms and conditions stating that all their cameras are international models and that I would have to pay $200 extra for the US model. First, you "agree" to their terms when you place an order via a check box that's checked by default and easily missed. Second, I read every word of the terms, and there's nothing in there stating that their cameras are "international" models. Third, the product page itself on their web site says nothing about the camera being an import. Fourth, all Canon 30D cameras have multiple language menus. Even if the unit in question defaulted to Japanese, it would be a simple matter to change it back to English. When I informed the rep that I didn't see anything about "international models" on the web site, he immediately got very hostile and accused me of "trying to make a joke out of him." I didn't give in to his bullying and canceled the order.
