I got a 256mb PC2100 stick of kingston ram for $32 total (item, tax and shipping). Ordered it at 11:30 am, picked it up at the B&M at 4:30 p.m. Great Price and was able to get it the same day. With a $25 MIR and $25 off online coupon code, can't beat that even for generic ram.

Sale prices and coupons great! Customer Service lousy! I was getting conflicting info from CS on an on-line order for a Viewsonc monitor I placed on Friday for a 3-day delivery. On Monday order status was "Waiting to fill". I called CS to see if I could change to "In Store Pickup". The CS rep took my number and would have a mgr call me back. A few mintues later, CS mgr called back and gave me number of local OD to call if the montior was in stock and then told me to call back and cancel on-line order. I called store, they had one in stock and put aside for pickup. I called OD CS and different rep said my order had no notation of mgr who called me back or any info he gave me, they also said I couldn't change order because item was not available for in-store pickup. (Yes, I know, I should have gotten the mgr's name, my bad). P.S. "3 day shipping" should read "3 business days shipping".

This was supposed to be a spindle of Maxell 74-min music CDR's. The sent me 80's by mistake, which are useless in my CD player. They did an exchange to get me what I ordered, and what did I find? The same WRONG 80-min CDR's that I don't need and didn't order. I called back again, and am now getting a full refund because someone in the Richmond,VA distribution center CAN'T READ!!!

Ordered 30GB harddrive 10-20. Showed as delivered 10-22. Six calls and 8 days pass before Office Depot's sorry customer service could even tell me who the carrier was. Turns out carrier claims drive was signed for, but after investigation, determined that I had not received the drive, and sent a loss claim to OD. 24 hours later, another call to customer no-service. Now I am waiting for them to check with the carrier. Still waiting for a drive as of 11-05. Do not order delivery from Office Depot! If you want to buy anything, select in-store pickup!

Found a great deal on a Maxtor 7200rpm 30GB HD via techbargains.com. Office Depot was running a $20 instant off plus a $30 Maxtor mail in rebate - total price $33.59 with free shipping! Not bad eh?! Unit arrived very quickly .

Outstanding service. Bought a monitor only because of the rebate that was advertised. There was a problem with the rebate form they gave me. I told them to give me my money back. The manager gave me the cash rebate on the spot, but faild to get the printed rebate form back. I filled it out and got a 20" monitor for $40.00. Keep up the great work guys.

I canceled the order by phone. The guy I talked to didn't even ask why. At least that part was easy. Much easier than getting what I ordered. I got it elsewhere and had it in three days after placing the order.  
 
I ordered a wireless Cable/DSL router on 9-22-02. I had to email customer service on 9-26-02 because the order was still in the "Item in process" stage. The customer service page said it would take up to 48 hours to get a reply. They weren't kidding. A full 2 days later I received an email stating that the order "has been fulfilled", and that it would take up to 48 hours to supply tracking information. So far this marathon has been going on for 6 days and the order hasn't even been shipped yet as far as I can see. How do these people stay in business?

Well, hopefully a printed confirmation email will suffice in order to obtain rebate. And you guys *need* to improve your overboxing. Throwing the retail box inside of an overbox roughly eight times larger with no void-fill is not really proper. Toss an invoice in there, too, and this order would have been perfect.  
 
Overall, it was OK.

First time buyer from Office Depot. Prices were somewhat decent and helluva fast shipping. (Ordered early morning 6/27/02, arrived at my doorsteps on noon 6/28/02).  
 
However, what irked me was the fact that their shipping package was . . . ummm, how do I put this. . . prehistoric! I received 2 packages. One package was in rather large paper bag with no shipping popcorn and 4 staples up top to keep the items inside. Second package was in an industrial strength plastic bag, also with no shipping popcorn. Although the items that I ordered were not physically damaged, it was dissapointing to see a place that sells shipping material come up with such a cheap alternative packaging.  
 
I would order from them again but only if the price is right and the item that I am ordering is not fragile.

I had brought an ATA 100 Maxtor 60 gig HD from them in Feb. Never opened it. Exchanged it last week for an ATA 133 drive. They gave me $35 bucks back to boot because the price had gone down. That was something they did not have to do and I appreciate it.

Ordered a hard drive on monday that showed an in stock status and a thursday delivery date was indicated. Thursday no hard drive. A call placed on Friday inform me the iteam is out of stock and I am given another supposed delivery date next wednesday. I get the song and dance line that an in stock iteam was merely a failure to update their website. As this is the last part needed for a system build Office Depots sloppy customer service becomes real clear. I cancelled my order amd will get my hard drive from some I can trust.  

Bought Quicken Deluxe and Turbo Tax Deluxe. Threw in a pen to put order over $100, and used $30 off $100 coupon. With $50 Intuit rebate, I'm getting both for about $20 - hard to beat! Arrived ok. You can get good deals if you combine their $ off coupons and rebates!
