I got an email from resellerratings that I've violated their terms. I should not use any individuals full name (first name is OK). So, I've made changes in my review and removed Agent's last name.

Got an email from circuitcity that $40 credit is there in their system and in my account. But, they never provided instruction, how to use this credit. Even it does not show up any where in my online account on their web-site. Well, finally I've declined this credit as I've no intention to buy anything further from them. Still waiting for their investigation report. Which I doubt, they will provide.

Got a mail from the Customer Service representative 'Ernesto' on 02/22/2010. He/She mentioned that "I found it absolutely absurd that you had to go through all this for a simple exchange."
He further told me that he/she is going to launch an investigation and had issued me a $40.00 credit good towards any item on their website.
I requested to have a final report after the investigation is over.
SO FAR I'VE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM THEM. NEITHER I GOT $40 CREDIT OR ANY REPORT OF THE INVESTIGATION.

Another example of not keeping the words what have they promised OR may be I need to wait for another month or two... What ever, it increases my blood pressure as soon as I think about them...

How will you feel if you get a very expensive cake from one of the premier shops with rotten filling inside and when you try to return it you need to follow-up with them for next 2 months.
Exactly same happened to me.

Price paid: $1749.97 – 12.5% bing cashback
Rotten Filling:

- Item supposed to be delivered on 29th Dec but was delivered on Jan 5th
- When opened, found the broken LCD in the TV
- Called customer service next day

The good CS Agent:

- CS agent was very helpful and he suggested me to return the TV only for a full refund as they cannot offer replacement because I paid through paypal
- He suggested me multiple times that I do not need to return the freebies, just only TV
- He further suggested me that I can go ahead with another order of TV, so that I’ll not be without TV
- I refused to buy another TV without getting the refund as it was an expensive item and I promised that I’ll buy once I’ll get my money back
- He said, “he understands and he processed the RMA for full refund.”
- He further told me that the shipping company will come to pick up the TV in next 2 days.
The nightmare starts:

- For next 7 days nobody showed up from shipping company
- I called multiple times CS and finally on 7th day somebody came
01/13/2010:
- The shipping company (AIT Worldwide) picked up the TV and for my surprise the pickup man dumped the TV in a empty big truck without securing it. He said it is already broken then what is the point to secure it.
- He did not ship the TV in next 8 days
- I called CC and AIT CS multiple times and they said wait for another 2 days and it will be shipped.
- Every time when I called CC CS, I got a confirmation too that I was going to get full refund for the TV.
01/20/2010:
- Finally, my case was escalated and TV was shipped.
- CC started expedite refund-process for me as it was more than 2.5 weeks.
- TV was delivered to CC within 4 days, but, there was no refund
01/24/2010:
- Called multiple times CS, and they told me that it was processed already and it will take another 5-8 business days
- 4th day I called and I was informed that it was already refunded and if I‘ve not received the money then I need to talk to Paypal
- 5th day, I called again and I was told to contact a particular CS Agent to resolve my issue
- On 7th day, I talked to a nice agent and he gathered all the information again and he assured me that I’ll get full refund as soon his manager approves it
01/29/2010:
- On 10th day, still no news
- Called CS again and I got the same answer again it is already refunded talked to PAYPAL.
- When I asked for a supervisor then the agent looked into the case.
- She had a approx 30 mins. chat with Supervisor and finally I got partial refund ($1360.95)
- I’ve been told that I did not return remaining stuff. that’s why I cannot get full refund, regardless what I’ve been informed earlier.
- Well! That was too much for me, So, I decided to return everything
- I return remaining items, they reached safely in next 7 days to CC
02/11/2010:
- For my surprise they refunded only for Home Theater system immediately. But, for blue ray player there was no refund
02/17/2009
- Again called them multiple times, so finally got the refund for Blue ray player too after 7 days.
What an experience!!!!!!!!!!!
Final conclusion:

- CS Agent contradict each other and do not honor whatever they promise.
- Return process is too slow.
- So finally after spending $1750 + 2 months of wait period + more than 12 hrs of telephone talk with CS, I got nothing
The good news: I got my money back!!!!

Recommendation:
I’ll not buy a single thing from them in my dream itself.
Good luck people, if you are planning to return something. Don’t believe what a CS agent tells you. They change their statement with in 24 hrs.
