LIES... LIES... LIES!!!!
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS .COM STORE!!
I purchased two Canon GL2's from this merchant and patiently communicated over a five month period desperately trying to get my cameras.
I was then told I had to buy a kit if I wanted the cameras.
HMMM....
To top it off, the last time I called and asked why I couldn't get the cameras without the kit I was lied to about my order being cancelled, mocked over and over, interrupted, talked over with a loud voice, laughed at, told I have an addition problem and eventually hung up on. Mind you, I never at one point used profanity or raised my voice.
HEED MY WARNING!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS ONLINE MERCHANT!!!

"At first I was worried from ordering from this site, but I needed a new digital camera fast. I ordered the Casio QV-R51 at what is basically the best price I could find at a respectable retailer. The camera was well packaged, shipped on Monday (I ordered on Sunday) and arrived on Tuesday; a day early via the 2nd Day Air option. No issues at all. Exceptional price, service, and quality. Highly Recommended!"

100% Bait and Switch operation. They list the lowest price on StreetPrices.com. When your order the camera only and do not order their high priced accessories they will tell you the camera is not in stock, it takes a few weeks to get it in even if you confiremed earlier that it is in stock. If you wait a few weeks and call back it is not in stock still and you get the same run around. The last sales guy I spoke with admitted I will never recieve the camera at that price. I canceled my order upon hearing this and the sales person tried to push me into buying a much higher priced camera package.
I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau http://www.bbb.org I suggest eveyone else do the same. This review was modified by its author, TheLoneKnight, on

I am a consumer that likes to purchase online. I signed up for save-here.com to purchase a Canon Rebel Digital Camera, the body only. Not only did I have to wait over 1 hour and 45 minutes for someone to answer their 1-800 number so I could confirm my order, but all they did when I confirmed is give me a sales pitch to buy memory cards and charges. Save-here.com charged me $30 shipping for the Rebel and told me that they would take 3-6 weeks to come to my house.
After emailing them a few times, they did not answer my questions and I called back again which I waited a long time for someone to actually answer the phone. I asked them if the Canon rebel came with the battery which it is supposed to come in the manufacturer's package anyways. The person that answered my inquiry told me "no" and so therefore, I luckily cancelled my order.
The person was not polite and a bit rude. I addressed him as "sir" and I said "thank you very much " but he just hung up on me without saying one word. Don't trust these websites because they are cheap. If you have to call to confirm your order and wait nearly 2 hours to do so just to hear a sales pitch, it is a big scam and I was lucky to cancel my order before they charged my card!

Keep away from these guys! I placed an order for a Canon EOS-Digital 300D online last night 8/7/2004 , along with a canon telephonto lens 55-200MM . I made the mistake of placing the order BEFORE checking out their business rating.
When I called the next day (8.8/2004) to ask a general question regarding my order ,they tried to "upsell" my order by enticing me to buy a supposedly better camera lens (Pro Sigma) for an additional $100, plus throwing in a battery charger. At first I said ok. Then I had this sinking feeling inside of me that felt "rip off" so I immediately called them back to cancel this additional "upsell" deal. The sales person I talked with kept harping about how I was making a big mistake by cancelling this and then proceeded to throw in more enticements to buy more accessories I really didnt need. He seemed annoyed that I insisted I could order these accessories much cheaper elsewhere. In fact he laughed at me when I declined to his offer to buy a battery charger for an additional $50, indicating I would need one to even use the camera. I insistedly said no and he reluctantly changed my order back to my original request.
Still, something just didnt seem to feel right, so after I got off the phone with them, I did more research and found resellerratings.com which seem to corroborate my suspicions about them.
Only 20 minutes later, I called them back and interestingly got a message saying "they were closed for the day". I rechecked the website to confirm their hours and it indicated that they were still open for another 4 hours! I suspect that after the two other phone calls I made earlier that day, that they probably tagged my number on their caller id to program it to reroute my phone number to this bogus telephone message.
On this hunch, within the next few minutes I decided to use my home number and call again, and (guess what!) someone picked up the phone on the first ring...At this point I just told them I wanted my entire order cancelled. They immediately told me they already processed the order for shipment, and I said that was impossible since it was only within an hours time that we tallked on the phone, and more importantly I placed the order online last night (Saturday) and there was NO WAY they could have even sent the order UPS for pickup today on a Sunday.
Even after I stated this, the sales guy was still trying to get me stick with my order by throwing in an additional $50 off my order. I just told him "no thank you".
I then proceeded to follow up our telephone call by sending an email to their website to again document our discussion to cancel the order. I also called my credit card company to document what happened and to make sure that charge my account for this cancelled order, just in case they denied even talking to me on the phone.
So far they have updated my order on their website as "cancelled" but I feel Ive done all I can at this point to protect myself.
Dont deal with these guys at all! They are sleezy!

I called before ordering a camera (the canon digital rebel, or 300d) to confirm that they had the item in stock. I was assured that it was. When I ordered I got one of those 'call to confirm' emails. When I called, they pressured me to buy memory cards and batteries, telling me there were none included when the camera includes a battery. When I refused to buy accessories, they told me the camera was backordered. I told the salesperson they were dishonest and cancelled my order. What they are doing is illegal in the state of New Jersey (they list a New Jersey address in their contact information on the website). I did send email to the consumer protection office in the State Attorney General's office in New Jersey. Avoid. They are crooks.

AVOID SAVE-HERE.com!!! Attempted to complete an order for a Nikon D2H digital camera for an amazingly low price. Very wary of "an amazingly low price" as all experienced shoppers should be, and, in this case, for good reason. Extremely low prices for this professional camera are usually gray market, non-English, non-warranty units which no one would want. The Save-Here website gave a little comfort in stating explicity that this item was brand new with a USA warranty. Just so as to not be too naive, I called the company first and verified with an agent that the camera was factory new (not refurbished), had a USA warranty, and came with all accessories. So far, so good... After submitting the order via their website with a notation (thank goodness I did that!!!)of details confirmed by their agent, I received an email of the transaction WITH a note at the botom that I needed to call for a VERBAL CONFIRMATION (?!!!) of the order - which I did immediately. This person stated that regardless of my notation, that the price was for a wholesale body ONLY - NO accessories (battery, charger, etc.) - and then tried to sell the "KIT" for $1000 more. Reading the other experiences here - this seems to be a pattern of deliberate deception!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH SAVE-HERE.COM!!!

I ordered an Nikon D100 online. Two days later I wanted to confirm the order [which I felt was a strange request -having to confirm an online order, I have made many previous online purchases and never had to go through that hassle]. It took alot of patience to get through and have someone answer the phone, finally when the clerk answered I said that I would like to confirm my order. He replied "Just a moment" , and click! I was disconnected! I thought o.k. -this was an accident and I dialled again. Again the line, rang and rang - finally the clerk picked up the call and I again explained that I would like to confirm my order and CLICK -- I WAS CUT OFF A 2ND TIME!! By now it was quitting time on the east coast and I live on the west coast so I tried again on Monday. Monday the mesage on the answering machine was stating to call between regular working hours. I tried all day, without success. Tuesday, the message on the machine advised that Sorry, we are closed Tuesday and Wednesday, so I called again on Thursday. Again after alot of patience --in listening to the answering machine repeating over and over again to Please stay on the line, as your call is important to us @ least 12 times!! finally a clerk came onto the line. I explained once again that I would like to confirm my order. First thing he asked was whether I had a battery bpower pack. I said, no that I didn't need one, that I only needed the camera buddy for a spare camera. Right away he replied that it would take 4-6 wks. for shipping. I politely if I could have it shipped sooner. He bluntly asked, "Do you want the camera"? and I said no, not in 4 wks. so he immediately just disconnected me!! If I would have 3 thumbs they would be all down--- I wouldn't touch a company like this with a 10 foot pole anymore!!

Ordered Canon Digital Rebel, good price w/4.5 out of 5 rating on PriceScan. Called several days later to ask about status. They tried to sell me stuff thats supposed to be in the package, like a battery charger. I said it's supposed to come w/BP511 rechargable battery and charger, they said no "it comes w/disposable battery". Canon doesn't even list a disposable for that camera. I figure they must have put their own "kit" together and gave it a retail price the same as Canon. I told them to canel the order, have not received a confirmation og cancellation. Don't know how they could've gotton a 4.5 rating.

Found very satisfied. Yes, the people on call are quite rude and might band the phone on you. You just need to have patience. You should be ready to call again and again. You should be ready to buy some extra attachments along with your main purchase. It still comes out cheaper. The finance handling, delivery etc. was great. I recieved the equipment very much intact with all the things, I had ordered for.

I just attempted to place an order with this seller. i was attempting to purchase a Nikon D100. the first call they hung up. the next call i tried to make sure that the camera came with what was specified by Nikon, which is a battery and charger. rebuilt machines dont come with this. the clerk tried to tell me they only offer that in a kit for several hundred dollars more. when i mentioned i had bought Nikon before he said "good for you". I have never been so rudely treated in any business transaction where more than a thousand dollars would be spent. they are awful and seem to be selling rebuilts as new since the item doesnt come with the requisite things in the base product. i even contacted nikon to make sure. either that or they are removing the items for separate sale. its not worth saving a hundred dollars to be treated this poorly, it scares me to think i may have a problem and would have to deal with them.
