I ordered Logitech speakers, right speaker had no sound, Robobargains shipped another subwoofer at no cost, that one also had no sound, no more in stock, Robobargains sent return UPS label and returned my money. They were responsive to my emails. I will buy again from them.

As an independent IT consultant I have been ordering from Software Outlet/RoboBargains for several years without incident. Their software has always been legitimate and a good value for my clients.
Due to a mistake in their shipping department, I received the wrong product. I called & left a message as well as sent an email. I received a response back (both email and phone call) within 24 hours, first apologizing for their error, second stating that they were temporarily out of stock but providing a new ship date a few days later, third offering to ship the replacement overnight as it was an urgent order for a client, & fourth refunding my return shipping charges. They subsequently did all of the above and in the time frame specified. I could have not been more impressed with their responsiveness and outstanding customer service.

I received my merchandise three days from ordering.There was a small glitch which was resolved immediately on the phone. Software outlet provided excellent customer service. From my experience, I can highly recommend them

I don't think a company should be blamed for a single product. If Nero 6 was first listed as a full copy, that is a legitimate complaint. But I see it listed as an OEM copy, which shouldn't be expected to work with all drives.
Realize that this is a company that sells older software cheaply. I have purchased from them 4 times, and each time I received everything I asked for in excellent condition. I am very happy with SoftwareOutlet.com!

Saw a deal too good to be true but never heard of Softwareoutlet. Took a chance because it was a 24 hour sale and I got in at 4 mins to deadline. I should've just came here to Resellers' because the ratings so far are right. Good price, fast shipping, good pruduct. Very professional.

I ordered Warcraft II from Software Outlet, and I got the package quickly, and the Warcraft II box was also in perfect condition. I will definitely shop here again, because they have very good bargains on older and hard to find software.

Great deal--Norton Systemworks 2002 free after rebate. They even include a bonus piece of software that you need in order to get the rebate! And--holiday spirit??--they tossed in a couple of packs of M&Ms, too (definitely a first).
They were also really nice when I called with a question about my order.
Will definitely use them again!

Ordering and shipping went very well. However, one item of software was not compatible with WinXP,this was not stated on the website. Remember that this company sells mainly OEM software. That means you get the disk only, nothing else.

I have made three purchases from this retailer and the items have all arrived in two days. The company is in Souther California and so am I so that makes my deliveries quick. The items are not full American retail releases but I didn't really expect them to be considering the prices. Remember folks, you get what you pay for. Use common sense when ordering from any online retailer. The company may have had problems in the past but they seem to be well run now. I can't talk about the customer service except from the standpoint of timely processing and shipment. I will continue to order form them until they do me wrong and then I will update this review should that happen.

orderer on 8-27 and received a order confirmation almost imeadiatly.e-mailed them on 8-30 when I didn't get a shipping confirmation and again on 9-1, neither e-mail was aknowledged. product was recieved on 9-2.tracking system never worked

Ordered 2 software items. Credit card was charged 2 days later. After 2 weeks, the package still hadn't arrived. Customer service wouldn't answer several polite email queries. After 2 days of calling, I was able to reach someone on the phone who told me that the package had just been shipped (it had, and arrived a few days later in a box, but with no M&Ms).
Even though this order wasn't the best of experiences, I'm not fuming mad at this company like some people are. Why not? Because I bought $80 worth of software for $25. The adage "You get what you pay for" is something that every mature adult should have learned and understood. If you want retail versions of software with top-notch customer service and support, go to your local store and pay retail prices. If you want Nero 6 for $10, understand that it won't be a pleasant experience, you'll probably get an OEM version, and there's a good chance you'll get ripped off anyway.
I might do business with them again if the deal is good enough and the risk is worth it. But if you need the software right away and there's a chance that you'll need customer service, avoid this company.

It took over 1 week to receive Nero 6. Did not inform me that it was not shipped out due to some type of delay. Also the version of Nero is an OEM version even thought it listed the ability to use the powerful Nero Burning Rom, the OEM version only lets you use the weaker Nero Express program. Site did not list this until very very recently. It maybe fine for some, but I expected the full version. If you still plan to order call before you place an order to make damn sure you're getting what you're ordering.

Ordered Quicken Basic New User edition because it seemed like a good deal. What I got was a message that it would be backordered and will be sent in a few more days.
Well it was just sent, and is expected to reach me two weeks after I ordered. I am a bit irrate; they should have offered to upgrade my shipping from ground to air.
While they do have good prices on software, watch out for stuff like that.
