Canoga Camera is awsome to deal with. 2nd time purchasing from them and will be my first choice next time I make another purchase. Got my shippment out the day I ordered living in Oregon got my stuff to me in 3 days. They are A+ in my book.

I checked with this website about Canoga Camera before I placed my order since I never knew about this store before.  
 
I order a camera backpack, Tamprac 5587, and the product was sent out the same day. I received it promptly after 4 days via free UPS Ground.  
 
I love the coupon that you have periodically. It makes your price more attractive compared to other sellers who have the same price with you. Thank you and I will think of you guys next time when I order more photo gears.

I can't be happier with Canoga Camera. I found wind of this place from a forum on the dgrin website.  
I needed to purchase a sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 II EX. After exhausting my search local and coming up empty, I did some poking around and decided to give these guys a shot.  
Best descision I ever made. I order on a wednesday afternoon east coast time. I had to have the lens by 10 am the next day for a shoot. Guys what arrives at my door at 9am? that's right this lens. Eddy a big thank you. You saved my shoot.  
This is one class outfit of a store, I will be back. You guys may want to check out dgrin, huge community of photog's.

Fantastic service. The lens arrived when it was supposed to, was exactly what I ordered (Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR), and the price was almost $700.00 less than what was listed on Amazon. I will continue to use Canoga for my photography equipment needs.

I wish that all on line business' would operate like Canoga Camera. Their communication is excellent, and their service is some of the best that I've seen.

Recently, I decided to purchase a new Nikon D300, a Nikkor 70-300mm VR lens, a Kata camera case and some filters for the new lens. After getting very frustrated talking to "crooked" companies in New York that wanted to "rip me off" using very shady business tactics, I began looking for companies, on-line, that had a decent reputation. After going to the Better Business Bureau's website, I discovered that my worries about some of the NYC companies were very well-founded and I saw that a little place in California, called Canoga Camera, was rated very highly. I had seen their name in my research, so I called Canoga, just to have a few questions answered about the new equipment and discovered an awesome experience purchasing from them. Although they are very small, Canoga is now my new "preferred" camera equipment company. They were extremely helpful, professional and came across as very honest, nothing at all like I had experienced recently. Canoga Camera is a breath of fresh air, in a purchasing environment that is usually way too cold-blooded and ruthless. Since my wonderful experience, I have been recommending Canoga to my friends, most of which have had BAD experiences, too.  
 
In this day of impatience, fast "deal-making" and instant gratification, Canoga spent the time with me, on the phone, that it took for me to make a quality decision about my new equipment. I love the new camera and got as good a price as I wanted, with the proper Nikon warranties. I look forward to many years of enjoyment from the equipment and many years of business with Canoga. I wish I had discovered them, a couple of months ago, when I purchased an entry-level Canon for my College Student son at TCU.

I just placed an order for a Canon 100-400mm lens, a Canon 24-105mm lens and a polarizer. Why?  
Because Canoga has never let me down. I had previously purchased 3 5D bodies, a couple of lens and a Gitzo tripod from them. All arrived within a couple of days after I received my almost immediate order acknowledgement by email from them. But here is the kicker. On Aug 26th 2006 I took an unanticipated swim in an Alaskan river along with a 5D and 28-135 lens. The equipment did not survive. The next morning I called Canoga and ordered new equipment. Because it was not to be shipped to my home address further authorization from my credit card company was necessary. They called the company and then me and then the CC company called me. After the authorization was given, to my recollection about 2pm Alaska time, Canoga shipped. I received the order in Anchorage the next morning at about 9:30 AM!! I was astounded and humbly grateful. They are a wonderful company. That is why I ordered again today.

I did lots of research of online retailers before finally settling on Canoga Camera. Actually ended up costing more due to State taxes, but pricing was competitive with all of the "legit" sites. Ordered on Monday morning, my 40d, lens, bag and all the goodies were delivered on Tuesday afternoon. No muss, no fuss. Flawless transaction. As our infamous Governator would say, "I'll be back".

Ordered two items, then realized I wanted another item. They combined my order with no problems. Items arrived when promised. I'd have no issues ordering from Canoga again.

This is a positive story, so please be patient and read it all. I created my account here just to share this story.  
 
I placed an order on a $1625 lens with $25 shipping. The lens was out of stock in many other stores at the time I ordered. Two days later, I found J&R and Amazon had this lens at $1600 in stock with free shipping. I called Canoga and asked for a price match of $45. The first store clerk was friendly and told me he would transfer my phone to the person in charge, but no one answered me. I called the store again, now a person named Jamie answered me. He said he could not do price match because it was not their store's policy. He also said he had the authority to turn down my request. I asked him to transfer me to the manager. He did, but no one answered me. I called the store the third time and told Jamie that I wanted to talk with the manager. He transferred me to an elder man who said he was the manager. He talked to me about the business and blah blah. The point was that he could not do the price match. I was a little dissopointed and hanged up after 20-minutues conversation. Five minutes later, a call from Canoga came, a young man told me that he could do the price match for me this time. I asked what was his name and whether he was the manager. His name is Chris and he is the manager. Later, I went to the Canoga Camera website again and found out that Chris was the manager of Canoga. A few days later, I received my lens and loved it very much.  
 
Now the point of this story is: if you have some problem wiht your order and if it seems difficult to be solved, call the store and ask for manager Chris. You have a better chance to have the problem solved.

This is the second time I order from Canoga.  
I will always get my photo gear from there.  
The internet is a crazy place, don't go risking your money for cheaper (too good to be true) prices that are a hit or miss.  
 
Pros:  
1- Best buying experience.  
2- Staff very friendly and extrememly helpful and will answer all your questions.  
3- Staff will try to meet your needs without making you buy the more expensive stuff.  
4- Prices are competitive. Yes, with all the above you still get a price better than most "reputable" stores.  
5- I got a freebie rebel cap with my order :)  
 
Cons:  
Not a walking distance away from my house.  
 
Highly recommended (very).  

Awesome service, awesome product, order arrived right when they said it would, great customer service, they follow up immediately, they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need, wish I had known about them long ago!

Canoga Camera has absolutely the best service. Ordered a lens one day and received the next. Very friendly, personal and courteous service. And their prices are great!
