I bought a laptop from Xtremenotebooks.com after doing a lot of online research comparing different companies that sell high-end laptops. I need a powerful computer to act as a portable workstation for my graduate studies in environmental engineering. Many of the applications I run are processor and RAM intensive (lots of aerial raster images and modeling) and so I needed a computer that would be up to the task. I ended up buying a 17" XVGA, 3.8 GHz, 3 GB RAM, 100 Gig SATA drive (X2 in a RAID 0 config) laptop.  
 
Purchasing my laptop at Xtremenotebooks.com was very easy. After placing my order, a very courteous individual called me to confirm my order and collect my payment information. My computer was delivered on time and I have been amazed every time I use it.  
 
I have spoken to the individuals at Xtremenotebooks.com on numerous occasions and have received excellent service each time. I am very happy not only with my laptop. It was the best computer at the smallest price (I looked at Alienware, Sager, DELL, etc.) It didn't have any lame proprietal or promotional software that I needed to remove either.

overall I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and my experience with xtremenotebooks.com. The ordering process is a little unconventional, but I assume its to fight fraud and help keep prices low. The salesperson was very professional, knowledgable and helpful, wasn't pushy, and didnt try to sell me more then I wanted or needed.  
Prices are by far the best I found around for anything comperable, but could have been a [i]little[/i] better; some of the upgrades felt overpriced. Laptop had 1 dead pixel just off center (not their fault), and came with alot of nice extras. free ipod shuffle promotion could have been better (ships a few weeks AFTER you receive your laptop. would have prefered a choice of which ipod I could get, even if I had to pay an upgrade price). Good documentation for the most part; I bought it without an operating system, and there are good instructions for how to install everything, except that 'disabling the card reader in the bios' is mentioned in the card reader section, and not with the rest of the instructions, so I had to reinstall right away :(.  
 
overall, I would rate this company a 9.4 out of 10, and would gladly do business with again!

Xtremenotebooks.com is by far THE best computer store (on-line or otherwise) I have ever dealt with. First, the price was amazing: $2100 for a laptop with the same specifications dell or alienware would charge for around $3300. The notebook itself is absolutley incredible. Fast, powerful, and there's no bloated, unwanted software installed when you buy, just the OS and the neccesary drivers. Beautiful. But the best part of XtremeNotebooks is their customer service. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. When I had trouble with my payment method, they were very friendly and concerned in helping me out, and when a part of my laptop was backordered they upgraded my shipping from ground to 3-day FREE. All my calls were answered by a PERSON, not a machine. The best customer service I've encountered.  
 
You will not find a better quality of service anywhere else. I give my HIGHEST recommendation.

I'm xtremely glad I chose to purchase my Motion Le 1600 tablet PC through Xtremenotebooks. There are three measures of merit I associate with the experience of making major purchases (anything over $500). They are, in order of importance to me: customer service (before and after purchase), product serviceablity and product performance. I use these factors to assess--every day and with each use--my ROI (return on investment).  
 
I have not experienced better customer service from any other notebook computer vendor than that I’ve received from Steve Nichols and his partners. They were always curteous, KNOWLEDGEABLE (i.e., technically competent WITH great communication skills--a rare find these days! And, in my case, they were extremely long-suffering, as I put them through quite an obstacle course of technical Q&A, etc.as I agonized over whether to purchase a ruggedized tablet or the Motion. They never waivered or lost their patience with me as I sensed was the case with some of their competitors around the U.S. A plus: NO ONE could beat their price! That has amounted to an uneclipsed Price/Value ratio for me--A+!  
 
In my job as a health and safety risk analyst for an aviation ground services contractor, I need the ability to collect data on the fly. I constantly move in and out of well-lit areas and stretches of service roads that are intermittantly ‘dark-in-daylight.’ I can be in relatively hazardous ramp operations areas one minute and next in a safe and quiet office setting for two hours. Through its initial month in service, during which I have worked it exceedingly hard, the pen system as been a reliable tool on the job as well as a real boon to me in my graduate studies. To this point, I can honestly say I have zero complaints. My Le 1600 as performed superbly and has really exceeded my expectations. So that's two more A+'s (serviceability and performance)!  

My old notebook computer went down Tuesday afternoon and I had a new LE1600 tablet configured just the way I wanted it in my hands on Wednesday morning. The salesman (Steve) was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was happy to answer my questions, both before and after the sale. I will not hesitate to do business with these folks again.

Services are great. I liked the discount for using company check. I can't imagine anyway to make buying a tablet pc any easier.  
 
They also worked with me to change my order when a newer model was announced the next day.

All i have to say is this company is great. Xtreme notebooks do everything that they say there are going to do on their website. They said that it would take them 5-7 business days to build it and 4 days to ship i got it in 10 business days after they ordered it. all in all it took 3 weeks to get to me on no fault of their own. i send them a money order though sail mail and after they receive it they place the order imediatly. I am very pleased this company they even let me split my payments between credit card and a money order, which is nothing big but the small things do count. The laptop itself is great however i only have had it for about an hour so i really cant say much but i am writing this review on the laptop. once again this is a great company to work with. they are always there to pick up the phone and will e-mail you back amazly fast. yeah there are other places to get cheaper laptops however this is one of the lowest priced and they are best company wise. i have no heistation on recomending them to anyone else, and i have no heistation to buy from them again. Once again Xtreme Notebooks is a great company and i am sure if you buy from them you'll be happy as well.

I work at Lockheed Martin as Computer System Analyst. So we all purchase notebooks for this year. Alienware, HP, Xtreme notebooks with all the goody gadgets. When I received my notebook they started to cry they love the features of the notebook and the scalability with display time on the front of the notebook being the best and the storage of extra hardware. If you want something that is true for the buck buy Xtreme Notebook integrity is the key...
