BUYER BEWARE: ESPECIALLY if you are a buying from OUTSIDE of the United States. The WORST experience I ever had... When I received the item, it was DEFECTIVE right out of the box. I've sent in a couple inquiries in regards to this matter, but till now I did NOT get a reply! Called their customer service line, and all they would tell me is to ship it back on my own expense which is approximately $25 for international shipping, but the item is ONLY worth about $25 and there is NO GUARANTEE that the other exchanged item will work. So, when I questioned them (the customer service rep and the manager) if they test ALL units before shipping them out, they were very hesitant on the yes. Hmmm... makes me wonder if they really do? Plus when I ask "Mike", the so called manager, - when will I get or will I ever get a response back in regards to my inquiries, he sarcastically said "Probably sometime next Christmas, plus I'll throw in a X'mas card". Like... WTF? And you call yourself a manager. Definitely would rather have purchase this or ANY OTHER item from my local electronic store. I would never again purchase anything from www.handhelditems.com.

I ordered 2 items, one of which was a Pantec Slate C530 Holster Belt clip which is reflected on the invoice. They shipped the wrong item; a Pantec Slate C520 Holster Belt clip. I have contacted them twice from the link on their website to RMA the incorrect item. I have NOT had a response to either of my requests.

I purchased an Ipod travel charger & an Ipod car charger...the next day they went on a special for only 99 cents each. I contacted HandHelditems regarding a credit since it was only the day after I had ordered. They didn't seem inclined to do it--claiming that the 99 cent special would have only applied to one item (although that is not anywhere that I could find on the ad - which was emailed to me the day after I had ordered the items). So no adjustment, and no more orders from me. I previously had ordered another item from them and it was not in the package...only an empty manila envelope. Oh, they had charged my credit card for sure. They didn't seem to want to believe that the item (which also had a rebate with it) - but they eventually sent me the item. I am STILL waiting on the rebate, of course!

My first experience with Handhelditems.com was terrible. It was in December and I ordered a xmas present on the 9th, and didn't have it by xmas. I called customer service numerous times while wondering where my product is, and always got a different answer (when I could actually get ahold of somebody). At one point, I was told their servers had crashed and my order had been lost, but I have no idea whether that was true. And almost everytime I called, I was always promised that they would check on my order and call back within a few hours. Not once did I ever receive a call back. I finally canceled my order.  
I usually don't do this, but I must have been feeling generous, because I decided to give them one more shot last month (April). I ordered a rubber iphone protector case. This time I did receive my product very quickly (4 business days I believe). HOWEVER, it was the wrong product. What I received was a plastic iphone case. I double checked my order on their site to make sure I was not the one that made a mistake. I wasn't. At this point, I really did not want to hassle with their poor customer service, so I just kept the wrong case that I received.  
My recommendation would be to STAY AWAY from this company. Very poor customer service and very poor customer satisfaction. Had I checked this site before I ordered from them the first time, I would not have placed the first order.

BUYER BEWARE! I made 2 separate purchases from this company: the first one, half the order was wrong and the 2nd order did not include everything that was purchased,and of the remaining items, one was broken & the other did not fit. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE OR RESPOND TO EMAIL. I disputed the charges on PayPal - their response was that I should email or call for an RMA number to return. COULD NOT GET HOLD OF THEM. I submitted the form for the RMA online - AGAIN, NO RESPONSE. I shipped the merchandise back & they refused it. Their merchandise is cheap & shoddy. They are clearly scam artists stealing money from consumers. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I will be reporting them to the BBB.

I paid $20 for "priority express" shipping which indicated (2~4 days). Then come to find out they ship "3-day select" for their "priority" shippings. Why did I pay extra $20 for something I don't get until a week later!? It shouldn't have even indicate 2~4 day shipping on there if they just want to make some extra cash on the shipping!!

I received my order in good time but part of my order was incorrect. I orderd two screen protectors and received the incorrect ones even though my invoice has the correct ones listed. I emailed the company TWICE and NEVER received a response. How ridiculous. Also, I ordered a car charger which after 3 uses started falling apart, pretty pathetic. I would probably only buy cases from this store since they are the same ones sold at the stores but cheaper prices. Otherwise I would go elsewhere for any other item.

I am happy with the quality of the merchandise I recieved. However, the service and delivery time were pathetic. I have been ordering items online for almost 10 years now and this is by far the worst experience in terms of timed delivery of the product. I placed an order on the 1st of March and did not recieve my shipment until well over 2 weeks after that. Customer Support took a couple of days to respond to my question about the status of my order and where it was in transit. I made my purchase in order to buy items to protect my new touchscreen phones for me and my wife. I ordered the phones on the same day as the items for HHI. The phones were there two days later but I had to wait an additional 14 days for the protective items I had purchased. After waiting a week, I had to break down and go to the mall and purchase the same items I had purchased at HandHeldItems (since they had not yet arrived). Bottom line is I would not recommend this company because their delivery time was terrible (worst I have ever experienced), their costumer service was lacking (email reply seemed automated and all they could tell me was that it had been sent), and the end result is that I had to purchase the same items locally (more than doubling my expense as I have two of each of the items I wanted) because they couldn't deliver in a timely manner.

I received the items ordered no problem - the issue I have is that when I tried to process a RMA within the 30-days twice on their web site it failed. I even tried talking to one of their customer service reps and he refused to do anything for me. He said I had to go online for an RMA. I disputed this charge and they still gave me a hard time. Awful customer service and I would never buy from them again!

Missing item with appalling lack of any kind of customer service. "It is the post office's fault," was the repeated refrain, with no desire to make it right or own the problem. Which might be fine if it had been shipped with any kind of positive signature delivery instead of just delivery date confirmation. My impression is they are the exception that proves the rule -- we have come to expect ownership and responsive service on the Internet like we would in a store.  
 
Anyway, they said it shipped promptly (the same day I ordered!), so if it arrives for you without problems, you would like their responsive fulfillment.

Placed an order for an iPod Touch case with this merchant. The item was received in good condition. It seems, however, this company operates as a drop-shipper, similar to Buy.com. They don't actually stock and ship products themselves. HandHeldItems' Web site says they're based in Southern California, but my case was shipped directly from the manufacturer, who is based in Tampa, Florida (postmark on the shipping box confirms this). Further, the case I ended up buying would have been less expensive had I purchased it directly from the manufacturer. In the end, I'm very satisfied with the product and pretty unsatisfied with the reseller. I would not shop at this store again.

On December 28, 2008 I ordered a car charger and an A/C adapter for my Samsung M320 mobile phone. The order arrived around the middle of January, but all the enclosed parts were meant to fit an M300. Despite the similar numbers, the connectors are completely different (thanks, Samsung). The invoice enclosed with the shipment clearly showed that I had ordered parts for an M320, but the parts themselves were clearly marked by the manufacturer as being meant for an M300. I sent HandHeldItems an email through their website, but never heard back. The 2nd email went out today. It may be time to put this charge in contest.

Ordered a toy helicopter as a Christmas gift and arrived broken. Sent item back with RMA number and package was received in Walnut, CA on January 7, 2009. Have not received a replacement, email or tracking info on any package being mailed out. Customer service numbers transfer to mail boxes which are full. After some research online, I found the business owner's name, Chien-Mo Shao. Since HandHeldItems.com refuses to answer their phones and provide any customer service, I am providing Shao's cell phone and home phone numbers which are (626) 757-5805 and (909) 902-9138. You can't operate a company in this fashion and not expect to receive customer complaints and retaliation.
