Never ordered from this seller before and was wary because of the low rating. But they had a very intriguing gadget I wanted to try and it was on an internet deal so I gave it a shot for a few dollars.
And was very pleasantly surprised.
1) Website: Easy to navigate, order easy to place and deal site promo code easily accepted.
2) Price for the item was 1/3 of the lowest price I had seen it previously, which is why I bought it. If it turned out to be a dud, at this price it was worth the chance. Fortunately it was just as clever as the promo video.
3) Shipping cost: Very reasonable - cheap actually. Many online merchants stick it to you with shipping, especially for inexpensive items, but not the case here. $2.85 cross country Ground for a half pound or so, promised in 4-9 days.
4) Delivery: USPS postmarked 4 days after order was placed but with a UPS Postal Solutions sticker on the package as well. It arrived from CA to East Coast 3 days later well packed in perfect condition. I'm not sure how they did that given two blizzards and a national holiday in between for a 7 day total delivery time cross country.
That's not a reflection on the vendor of course, but on either UPS, USPS, or both. But surely if the delivery were delayed, the merchant would get blamed.
So my first experience with Hand Held Items was fine and I would be willing to try them again.
