Ordering went well enough. Two pieces of a Honda exhaust: the mid-pipe and the muffler. I received tracking orders for both parts the same day. The Muffler came within 2 days. The midpipe is a different story; although I have a tracking number, Fedex has no record of receiving the part. Calling customer service claims that it has to be sent out of a THIRD warehouse...with no ship date yet. It's a good thing I paid with Paypal....I can at least dispute the charges (YES, they DID charge for the ENTIRE order, the day I placed it!) This review was modified by its author, Stoodybaker, on

This is a company that operates out of the Phillipines and they deal through a warehouse in Ca. I ordered an entire exhaust from the cats back when switching from single to dual exhaust. The order came in pieces by Fed Ex with no packing slips and no accounting for what the pieces were. They never sent me a detailed email of the invoice either. They had to additionally ship me one of the mufflers that they forgot to send (after arguing with them about it) and after another fight they were suppose to send the tail section they also forgot to originally ship. Now they claim the tail section is out of stock and refunded me an adjusted amount (due to the package discount). Customer service disputes their own web site which indicates that it is in stock. I think they just didn't want to eat the shipping on sending me another forgotten part and they expect me to reorder at the higher price plus shipping. After more arguments they agreed that if I reorder I will get free shipping and the tail section at the credited price. We'll see. How can they be out of stock indefinitley on a Walker tail section for a Grand Marquis? The price they gave me kicked everybodies butt however, the horrendous Phillipino customer service and the "going on 3 months" in trying to get my exhaust system will make me never do this again. I'll just go to Ford next time and be done with it. They are a scarry company means they are technically not even in this country and you can never speak to someone truly accountable. I am glad that this is almost over with.

This company is a scam. They use bait and switch tactics to get you to buy higher priced items. The items shows in stock, you order oneline, they take the money from your account before processing your order, and then they wait 4-7 days to tell you the item is out of stock, then you are told it will be another 3-4 days to get a refund. I called customer service, was hung up on once, waited 30 minutes the second time only to be told they could not help me. I then tried callilng back to order the same part. I was told the part was in stock, I asked the sales person to verify that it was. He assured me that it was. When I told him that I had just spoken to customer service and was told the part was out of stock he hung up on me. Be warned if the price seems to good to be true it is. (also US Auto Parts, Parts Train, and Auto Parts Warehouse are the same compnay).

When I ordered the item online it said it was in stock, They sent me my money back and did not say why, so I called. I was told that the online site was not always up to date and that they were out of stock, well I have check back for the last 2 weeks and it still says in stock, but they are still out of stock. I guess I order from a different place.

These idiots canceled this order and never even gave me a reason why! Their "sister" web site Auto Parts Warehouse also had this part listed on their site and then could not deliver. If someone had contacted me and offered another part, even at a higher price,I would have bought it, although they really should send me the more expensive part at the lower price.
Last order at APW I got the wrong part but made it fit. You guys are 0 for 2, and for me that's a strikeout. The dozens of e-mails you send every month are not to my liking either, especially since you cannot e-mail me when there is a problem with my order. GO AWAY!!!!!!!!

Three days later and I am stilling waiting on my RMA info. The phone rep appeared to be more concerned with my reason for returning the product rather than fully explaining the return process. I'm amazed that I received a survey from you before I received the RMA return info. This acknowledges to me that you are apparently a small company with a total lack of training on how a customer should be treated. When this sale is resolved I will never do business with your company again.

Ordered 2 replacement parts for a car. Arrived within a week. Open the box to find one part was damaged and the wrong part completely and the second part also didnt fit the vehicle it was ordered for.
Not mad, YET.....
Called partstrain.com, said someone would call me back regarding the purchase because the items were too large and they may just credit me without sending them back because of shipping costs.
Still, not mad YET................
No phone call from them the next couple of days, so I call back and they act like they have no idea of this and this is the first they have heard of this, same line of BS apparently they give to everyone. I called and called and sent emails and talked to the virtual customer service and it was like talking to a wall.
Soooooo..............
I went to my bank and filed a dispute on my credit card.
POOOOOOOOOOOOOF! That was magical.
The next day I received an apology letter and they would take care of everything. They creditted me back for the damaged part and sent Fed Ex out to pick up the other part.
I was so happy! The nightmare was over!!! Once they get this second part back, I will be reimbursed and can go about life and know to never use this horrible company again in the future, maybe tell my close friends about this bad experience I had and be over it in a week.
Oh no, couldnt be that simple could it?? I just received an email stating the part was received damaged and that I would need to file a claim with my shipping company. THEY SET UP THE SHIPPING and to me it is way tooooooo convenient of them to say this.
What a joke! BUYER BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE AND I WONT STOP UNTIL I RECEIVE EVERY DIME THAT IS OWED TO ME...... Save yourself the frustration and order locally from a company you trust, with a good reputation, even if is a little more you will definitely regret it if you dont.

SLEEZY BUSINESS don't trust them.
Ordered a tail light online. Expecting a choice of shipping, I filled in the info, including P.O. Box address, and clicked on continue. BOOM, order completed--but only then was notice given that it would be shipped UPS. UPS doesn't deliver to PO boxes. Everyone knows this. Called partstrain and explained that their site was defective and was informed I would be credited for the cost LESS SHIPPING. Their fault but I paid. I used GOOGLE CHECK OUT but obviously they don't monitor their clients. Won't use them again. Ebay is the much more trustworthy place for online purchases, though the prices are always higher. This is the worst online buying experience of my life. Parts Train shipped the wrong part. It was for a completely different vehicle. The customer support left me on hold for almost 45 minutes. Then, I was literally accused of lying about the parts and they requested pictures of labels and even the VIN of my vehicle when the parts they shipped were for a completely different vehicle. It took weeks, literally, to get a response back from their outsourced Indian support team who barely speaks English, and I had to re-request the RMA twice. When the RMA instructions email finally got here, it said I had to ship the box in another box or they wouldn't accept it. Have you ever tried to find a box big enough to put window vent visors in? It's not easy. They also offered no return shipping reimbursement even though the problem was clearly on their end. The final straw was the line that said it would take up to four weeks for my credit after the product was received. Four weeks??? This experience couldn't have been worse for me. I will never buy from them again.

Absolutely the worst customer service. They did not ship entire order, although my credit card was charged for it (including shipping). After 6 emails, and 5 phone calls, finally received an authorization for a credit to my card for the part not received. Then I find out that I was only credited for 50% of the total cost of the part(this is the part I did not receive!). Then after fighting with them again, I get a promise from them to credit me for the entire cost of the part. I am sick of companies such as Partstrain making every attempt to rip people off!

DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM PARTSTRAIN!!!!!
i placed an order for catatlytic converters to a cadillac catera 2000.left side and right side.the supposed part #'s are EAST50352 and EAST50351.the good part is they sent me the wrong parts like 3 days after i placed the order.
what they shipped me was what was supposedly 50352 and EAST71317.
it took them 8 days to figure this out and this was with me having to make back to back phone calls everyday for 8 days and going as far as emailing them pictures of what was sent.
by this time over 2 weeks had elapsed.car still not fixed.eventually, someone figured it out and they billed me again to have the correct part sent.one would think a good business will accept responsibilty for their mistake and take care of picking up the wrong part and then shipping me the new part but nope.they refunded 1/4 of what i paid to have the original shipment sent to me and the cost of the part but still charged me full price for the new part and same price i paid to ship 2 pieces for getting just 1 part.
like this wasnt bad enough,i got the new right part which is east50351 but it turns out east50352 which i had sitting in my trunk for over 2 weeks is wrong as well.they shipped me a converter to brand of car.
the customer service reps are no help as half the time they dont have a clue of what they are talking about.what i think it is is that their site is showing the wrong parts for the wrong cars otherwise, how can you mistake part # 50351 for 71317.different shapes, size and even cost.they charge me over 200 bucks and ship me a 40 bucks part.
fine they have great prices but saving yourself a few dollars is not worth the stress i had to go to.a full month has passed and im still missing one part.now ill have to resort to paying 500 bucks at the dealer which is what i should have done to begin with.
fine they have great prices but

Be sure to order from partstrain.com if you don't mind throwing your money away! I ordered two parts that were supposedly 'In Stock' and made the mistake of paying for 2nd day shipping. I depend on my truck to get to work and expected delivery on Oct. 3rd. The day parts were supposed to arrive, I received a generic email stating the part was 'Not in Stock.' I tried calling this CA based company, who hung up on me 3 times. They said one part was shipped. The next day I got another email saying 2nd part was also 'Not in Stock.' To add insult to injury, I cannot get Parts Train to refund the $35 shipping charge. When I call, they put me on hold and never return. Order from partstrain.com only if you like being ripped-off and abused.

I ordered the item in error. Tried to cancel it but the online chat offered me no help other than to call a customer service line that was already closed and couldn't be contacted until tomorrow. By that time my order was already sent off and I would have to pay shipping in order to return the item. I decided not to and was a little disappointed with not being able to cancel my order. I will say though that shipping was VERY FAST. I got the item the next morning. All in all it was a good experience. I just wish canceling the order wasn't such a hassle.

When I first ordered my Replacement brand shocks/struts, the discription on the Parts Train website said set of two,the fact was they were sold individually. Im still waiting for shipping info for the second order to complete my order.
