This company had the lowest advertised price on a Panasonic AG-DVX100b digital video camera. After ordering the camera (and giving out all my credit card information) they called me to "confirm" the order. They asked if I wanted the power supply and battery that goes with the camera included. With the necessary supplies the product was nearly THREE TIMES the price!! When I told the salesman that I could find aftermarket supplies at a much lower cost, he informed me that the camera was out of stock. I called back and talked to a different salesperson who said that IF I ordered the accesories the camera WAS in stock. This business is completely predatory and dishonest! Since I no longer trust century21electronics.com with my personal financial information, I am seeking recourse through my credit card company. Buyer beware. Thank you!!

We just placed an order yesterday for a Nikon D80 Kit. We were asked to call to confirmed the order which we did. They asked if we wanted to get the warranty on the camera and I said that I would just have the factory warranty. They told us that there was no factory warranty... I asked what? on your web page it says "USA Warranty"! I was informed that it was a USA WARRANTY by the store for 7 days only. What a bunch of BS... So misleading, They are selling Gray market cameras and trying to make you think it is a USA camera.

I canceled the order and I'm going to tell everyone I can to stay away from this bogus outfit. I also had a friend that was buying a D200 Kit, which is also being cancelled.

WARNING: I don't think I need to repeat all the other warnings however be very careful not to accept any partial shipments. You will get stuck paying the inflated price for accessories and never get your main product. Tried to purchase a Nikon D200.

DONT Trust the Ratings on ShopCartUSA, always confirm here first.

Placed order for Canon 20D w/18-55 lense. Total with s&h was $614. Received confirm. e-mail right away. Called several times over the 4 weeks that I waited. Product on backorder with no e.t.a. Decided to look at web site and same item I had "purchased" was now $1500+. Called and cancelled order, got confirm# and email. Will be watching bank account though based on what I read here.

These guys were bad because the cancelled my order because the Pentax K10d is on 6-8 back order. Well why dont they just show it as out of stock then? Or could it be that I used a virtual credit card number to protect myself from fraud? hmmm...

Just like every body else, this website is FRAUD.

I went to order the Canon Digital Rebel XT with lens yesterday. I placed the order and the first thing that confused me was the fact that after you buy the item, they say something about the price isn't final until you get the bill, they could add on, etc.
Then, I started searching for reviews... I feel really stupid now, because this is what came up.
I immeditaly emailed them saying they MUST cancel my order.

I called them, but they were closed on Sunday, so we ended up just cancelling our credit card.

Today, my mom gives them a call (we had a missed call from them) and she starts talking to somebody.

He claims he lived in Tasi, Afghanistan (which doesn't exsist) on 3456 Afghani Street. Hahahahaha. Then he asked my mom to write him some time.

She told him about the reviews and he replied with "Sometime if I find the time I will check out these reviews." And she hung up.

Man. I'm glad I saved the credit card. Haha.

Beware!!!! Same experience as everyone else, sucked in by the low price. I ordered a camera online, got the phone call the next day to confirm the order, refused the overpriced accessories and Adam told me I would receive it in 4 to 6 weeks. After 30 days I e-mailed with no response so I called to check on the order and was told it was canceled by the salesperson... I'm sure it was because I refused to purchase over priced accessories. The "Customer NONsupport person" hung up on me after I told him this was a terrible was to run a business. I Called back to confirm order was canceled, was told it was, and that I received an e-mail telling me so (LIE) told him this was not a way to run a business and he hung up on me...then called me back from J&K Camera and proceeded to bitch me out. DO NO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!

This store is a fraud. Entices you with low price on webstie, says the product is available and then never delivers, or at least not for stated price and certainly not on time. Fact is, they upped the price on the product and refuse to honor prior sales of same item for lesser price claiming the item is out of stock. Why does the website continue to advertise that they have it in stock? Then, they don't even bother to tell you that they are playing this little game. Instead they avoid you. In my case they never responded to three phone calls and two e-mails made to the department responsible for tracking prior orders. When I pretended to be a new customer looking to buy something else, they finally took my call but then rudely hung up yelling "we are out of stock on that item...you're order is cancelled" when they found out I was an old customer trying track an order that was placed over three weeks earlier. Problem is, they tell me this two days before the first Christmas of my new-born twin sons. Unless I find the item locally today, Sunday, December 24, I will lose that moment forever. they ruined my Christmas. Stay away from these jokers. don't get lured in by prices they have no intention of honoring.

This store is a FRAUD. Follow the below link for more information, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC NUMBER - EVER.

http://sheddingsomelight.com/buy-cameras/list/dealers-mraccfam.html

Navigate to the bottom of the page and review the Dealer Notes, their BBB resume (more than 300 complaints in last 12 mos), and also the other DBA's they use that you can also find here on resellerratings.com .

If you give them your CC number they will usually try to report YOU for fraud before you can report THEM.

I consider myself a careful shopper, but I fell for an incredible deal on a Nikon D200. I guess I had doubts, because I subsequently googled the site and wound up at ResellerRatings. I promptly e-mailed an order cancellation, and cancelled my credit card. The following day, a sales person who obviously didn't know I had cancelled my order, called and indicated the camera I ordered came with "a plastic lens," and I should really upgrade. Wish I had played with him more, but I told him I cancelled, and he hung up without another word.

This week, “NCO Financial Systems” left us a message which said a bad debt of ours had been turned over to them for collection (we absolutely, positively have no bad debts). We called back, but the person who called us was out, and no one else could access the records. We left a message, and haven’t heard back. Subsequently, I googled the company, and found out they are notorious for fraudulent practices, high-pressure collection methods, bogus threats, etc. The main office is in Pennsylvania, and there are many, many complaints to the BBB there. The phone call we got came from Toronto. Any chance my ill-fated deal with Century21 is somehow related, or is this pure coincidence?

Well, I hate to say, but in the last 6 or so years shopping on the internet that I've never had a problem, that is until today. I can't believe I'm reading these reviews and posting my own experience too boot.

These guys call me the day after the internet purchase and give me the same spiel about the battery and lenses... I say no thanks, he gets cocky and says it's back ordered until sometime next year.. so I wait... and wait.. then I want to look up the status of my order.. can't...hummm. Then I start Goggling Century21Electronics.... jezzz, now I'm calling B of A and letting them know that my card might be in danger..

Sick to my stomach..

Be very careful about this shop. When you call them, same story as with everyone, they are trying to sell the batteries and charger seperately for an incredible price. When you don't want this, they put you on backorder. When I said I wanted to cancel the transaction they said they will cancel it but not send a confirmation and started laughing out loudly.

Make you call before they will ship. Then they put the high pressure on you to buy more, more, more. Seemed like I was talking to an auctioneer - buy now, this deal will not be offered later. Very dissatisfied with this. Told them I would never shop there again.

i placed an order for a nikon d80 priced at $399, for that moment, see i should never have trusted a site whos prices fluctuate so much from hour to hour, stupid me. anyways, unlike most peoples responses i have read, i did get a confirmation e-mail and phoned the company. they proceeded to try to get me to buy a battery for some ungoddly price as well as a charger for the cost of my first born and a warranty that cost as much as the camera. i declined the extras knowing i could get them on ebay and was told that the camera was on back-order and it should take 3-5 weeks. i hung up the phone puzzled but somewhat satisfied. i have recently inquired about my purchase on 3 occasions and have heard excuses from "its still on back-order" to "our server is down, but we will give you a call back". not having heard anything back from them i decided to do some detective work and stumbled across this website, with others like me(yay). so still no word and i have basically given up. by the way, we too have been victims of fraudulant charges on the credit card we made the purchase with. we have notified the BBB and the FTC as well as the NY States Attorney about the matter and hope others follow in the same manner. these people need to be brought to justice. bom bom bom

Within 4 days of ordering, had no charge for the order on my card, but three fraudulant charges to Yahoo Wallet and WalMart.com totaling almost $1500 dollars suddenly were on it. BofA was on top of it and had the card canceled lickity split. Sounds like the NY Attorney General definitely needs to be contacted about this sham/scam of an operation.
