Please be advised "NOT" to purchase any item from this company. I was taken advantage of, and it took the New York Attorney General, and the Minnesota Attorney General plus my credit card company to get my $$$ fund back 90 days later. They stated they are out of business but they still have a web site active. They are crooks plain and simple....Andrew Meysembourg

Believe the negative reviews on this company. My own experience mirrors theirs including: 1) shipment of a refurbished item when I ordered a brand new one and 2) no delivery of another item (the expensive piece of merchandise) after two delivery dates.
These people simply lie and misrepresent to the point where they could only be diagnosed as sociopaths.
In my case, I did get a refund for the most expensive item, but I first filed a complaint with AMEX and the New York State Consumer Protection Board at http://www.nysconsumer.gov/complaint.htm .
I believe that without having taken these actions and informing 123BuyDirect of the actions, I would not have gotten my money back.
Beware doing business with any of their other dbas: Price Mad, Barnett Computer Warehouse, CompDirect or any business with the street address 417 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10016.

I THOUGHT I COULD BEAT THE ODDS WITH THESE CROOKS BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS SO LOW. YOU CANNOT-PERIOD. THEY HAVE GONE OUT OF BUSINESS, THANK GOODNESS-I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY STAYED IN BUSINESS. ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS YOU READ ARE TRUE-I AM CONVINCED THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FALSE. STAY AWAY!!! DON'T LET GREED GET THE BEST OF YOU. IF YOU ORDER FROM THEM OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER COMPANIES AND GET TAKEN, YOU HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELF.

CAUTION! This company just informed me on 11-5-08 that they are out of business!! I have been waiting for almost a month for a Sharp HD LCD. After calling and calling and being put on hold or hung up on, they finally told me they have stopped all sales! BEWARE! They are rude, disrespectable and horrible to deal with. Thankfully, I was able to charge my Visa back to them for the TV. Do NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

RUN! RUN! RUN! Ordered an LCD-TV, waited 5 weeks for delivery, got no shipping number, invoice, tracking number, and just rude customer support.
It was either lost in shipment or never sent.
Finally cancelled the order and bought locally.

NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Horrible customer service, extremely rude, and unreliable. I initially encountered this company because it had the lowest price (by approx $50) for my 46" Sony Bravia XB5 LCD TV. Within 5 minutes, a salesperson called me and convinced me to buy a newer Samsung model. He was very nice at that point. He even threw in expedited service for 1/2 price, and HDMI cables. This is where the good ends, and the rest begins. He promised an updated email with the change of model and amount - which took 4 days instead of the promised few hours (though the credit charge sure was immediate). Next, the 7-9 day expedited delivery date came and went - no TV. I called him, and the same salesperson was unprofessional and very rude. He was argumentative, blamed his customer service department for any errors made, and made more empty promises. He promised that I would be contacted, either by phone or email, within 4-5 days with the delivery time/date. He also promised to return the expedited delivery charge - which was never done. Again, after another deliver date came and went, I called back, and asked that my entire order be refunded. He convinced me to give them one more chance to deliver the TV within a few days. That, too, came and went. I called back again, and he promised full refund. However, after not receiving it for 5 days, I called again. After talking to at least 3 rude customer service agents, I talked to an assistant manager, who agreed to recredit my credit card, but AFTER they called the delivery company - the TV was being delivered!!! None of this was even documented!!! Since I had no trust in the company's documentation, I asked her to read her notes back to me to ensure she documented this - she stated "No, I will not do that - too busy - goodbye!". Incredible. Please don't think that saving $50 is worth any of this headache. Go to Best Buy or other local store, and have them "price match" your best on-line price search. They won't accept some internet prices, and you will also have to pay taxes, but so much more worth it.

Watch your wallet and be prepared for the worst customer service you will experience.
Talking to the sales person will require that you wash the slime off after the experience. They will try and up-sell you components at 3 to 5 times what you can buy them for at Best Buy or on ebay. They even tried to sell me last years model at 15% more – really slimy sales personnel.
Your credit card gets charged immediately – not just funds reserved but actual charge amount.
Free delivery is by Freight which they do not initially mention will take 30 to 45 days. They maintain that tracking is not possible. They act as if you deserve this treatment since you did not pay for enhanced shipping.
Typical hold for Customer Service is 15 to 30 minutes to get a rude New York woman who is obviously irritated that you, the customer, actually called to complain.
Be sure to watch your credit card statement and when the charge comes if you do not have your merchandise dispute the charge instantly for no goods being delivered. When the money gets pulled from their merchant account they will whine and cancel the order but not tell you that is has been canceled.
Avoid this firm and go elsewhere to a reputable merchant.

An awful merchant -- I strongly advise people to stay away from this company. I had the same experience other reviewers had -- rude customer service, dishonest dealings, and no television after two months of waiting and getting the run-around. I finally cancelled the order. I just wish they did not have my credit card information. Though my card was never charged, I really do not trust these people.

After waiting 3 weeks after purchasing a television on line. I called customer service 3 times. I was put on hold or the call was redirected for a total of a half hour each time. Do not order online from this company. If you are lured in by this company's prices beware. My advice is to call in the order and experience this lack of service.

Ordered a plasma over a month ago. Called over a dozen times. I was either immediately hung up on after speaking with someone or left on hold over 20 minutes and then hung up on. Their reps are very rude. Worst buying experience ever. Stay far away.

The worst seller I have ever dealt with.
I ordered an TV at the end of June. They asked me to call to verify the order. I did. They said they shipped it the next day. Every time I called they told me I would get the item in a different amount of time. First a "few days", the 2-3 weeks, then 3-4 weeks. After 3 weeks I found that they never shipped the order and I canceled it. The customer service says its open to 8pm on the website but it if you call then it says it closes at 5pm. The customer service reps are all the worst. They just say "what do you want" and hang up on you. The worst.

On June 23, 2008 I placed a order with a salesmen named Louis for a Samsung 46 inch HDTV. On that same day my CC was charged. I was told that my shipment would go out on Monday the 23rd of June and would take 7-9 days to be delivered. It actually did not ship until the 26th. Here it is the 10th of July and still no TV. I have emailed them 4 times without a reply back. I have called and talked to 8 different people, that all gave me a different story. It went from 7-9 days to 10-14 days and now 15-20 days for ground shipping. They just keep adding days when the date before has come and gone. One of my first questions I asked was how long for ground shipping and was told 7-9 days only to find out that they say that only to get your order. Another question I asked if the TV was in stock at their location, his answer was let me check and came back with yes. This was not true from what I was told later, it came from a warehouse locations and did not get picked up from the carrier until the 7th of July. This company does not play fair or care about repeat business. When I called and talked to two different managers they could care less and said your TV is on the way, what else do you want us to do? I will never purchase another item from them even if they were half price of anyone else. Buyer beware!!!

Buyer Beware!
When you buy cheap you will receive cheap, and with cheap comes all the problems.
Try to solve problems with a "customer service" that sucks!!!
Find another dealer and you are better off.

I've never posted a review on any web site but I'll make sure to hit every these idiots show up on and give my 2 cents! These Guys are a absolute joke, complete scam artists! Their customer service, if that's what you want to call it, is non-existent. They did not respond to 3 different e-mails and when called on the phone, plan on spending 1/2 your day trying to talk to one of these LIARS. Waited two weeks for the Samsung TV to ship, why if they had it in stock like they claim? During this two week period I called and asked what was going on and got nothing but empty promises. The last time I called they said it had been shipped because it says ground shipped on the computer, well there was no way it had been shipped because my Discover Card had yet to be billed. If you don't have the product in stock or readily available to ship from a warehouse, then don't jerk your prospective customers around, lie and say you do. A complaint was filed with the BBB. Pay a little more and get good service, price isn't everything, even Satan masquerades as an angel of light! Don't let them lure you in with the low prices, just to get scammed!
YOU BETTER TAKE MY ADVICE AND NOT ORDER FROM THESE JERKS! DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED!!!

TOTAL SCAM-Never read or wrote a review until now!
After considering a 46" LCD TV I ordered one in early May. Nothing was processed until I called to follow up on it's status one week later. At that time I received the up-sell to an extended warranty. I declined.On 5/20/08 they attempted to deliver a refurbished model in a broken down white van with it's name painted on with a paint brush! I declined.I sent an email to the company that I refused delivery, to credit my credit card and that no further deliveries would be accepted.No response from them.
The following day I was told they "picked the wrong item in the warehouse and they would send out the new in box model".
I declined.I was told what I received was a " Class A Refurbished model". I have no idea what that means nor do I care, but it is not what I ordered.123BuyDirect called back to say they found my TV in their North Carolina warehouse, which of course does not exist.For about the 4th time I told them our dealings were over. Now two days later I am receiving calls from a shipping company trying to get to the bottom of this matter.I am told they apparently operate under different names as well.
