This is the worst possible online electronics merchant out there. Don't buy from JIMMY. After lying again and again about when my new LCD TV will be delivered, Jimmy clearly stated that "billions get their deliveries late... live with it" after promising a full refund if the TV is not here by October 31st. It is now October 30th and they have moved the shipping date to November 4th and guess what? "NO REFUND AS PROMISED" I spoke with the shipping company and they say that the product was consigned to them YESTERDAY (Oct 39th). Whatever happened to the 24 hr shipping policy???? Liars
This is the type of business that gives online shopping a bad name. These guys should be wiped out from the internet and their business license revoked.
Oh and by the way, they will never have the product you order but will give you a discount on a more expensive product. Nice trick!!! This review was modified by its author, maskar, on

Do Not Buy from these guys! I have spent the last month trying to get a $50 credit issued back to my credit card. I ordered a 37" Sharp TV, they processsed by order rapidly, but said there was a problem with the order and to call. Of course I got right through on their 800 number then. They said the TV I had ordered was a discontinued model and recommended an upgraded one, at an upgraded price, which I agreed to. They then billed me $50 over that price. I have called 3 times about that matter and each time they say the credit will post w/in 2 days. Still hasn't 5 weeks later. When I received the TV (not in the original packaging) the warranty papers were stamped with a void on the warranty. I called again (waiting 20-30 minutes) and they said they would immediately send out a 3 year in home warranty. 2 weeks later that hasn't arrived. Spent 30 minutes on hold today, then they disconnected me. Sent 4 e-mails, none of which have been responded to.
Definitely will not buy from them again.

Stay Away From These Crooks!
I did an internet shopping search and found Pricemad.com on the Nextag website. It looked like they had a ton of reviews and a great price so I went ahead and ordered a 42" plasma TV from them. I was told to "upgrade" from the free freight since the free freight would take 28-31 days. I agreed to the upgraded shipping for the "special" of $89. This also include 2 HDMI cables. I waited and regularly checked their website. Finally, on 9/17 they shipped it out. It arrived with a cracked screen. I contacted them and had it shipped back on 9/18. They assured me that the day they received it in the warehouse they would ship out a new replacement. I used the tracking # to determine they received it on 9/22. I called them everyday since then only to continue to get the run around with repeated claims that it would be shipped out "today, 100% guaranteed".
It still hasn't been shipped. Jamie in Customer Service (...an oxymoron!) promised I would receive a shipment confirmation email later today...I never got it. The day prior, my sales person (Jimmy Barnett) made the 100% guarantee on shipment.
They took my money quickly from my credit card on 8/31. I asked to cancel the order on 9/23 but they claimed I would be charged for the shipping and a 15% restocking fee (how do you restock damaged goods??).
On Monday I'll call and cancel and get back what I can from them.
JAMIE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND JIMMY BARNETT IN SALES (EXT. 202) ARE SCAM ARTIST. DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL!!
I learned the hard way to spend the extra couple hundred dollars and buy something like this locally.
By the way, they charged me $99 for the shipping "upgrade" and when the broken plasma TV arrived there were absolutely no HDMI cables with it.

I placed an on-line order for a Samsung TV on 8/3/08. Got an email on 9/9/08 to call them and was told their shipment was returned damaged and they were canceling my order. During the interim 5 weeks waiting time, I passed up chances to buy locally for nearly the same price during a sale but I did not need 2 large TVs. Is it worth buying large expensive items from these type companies due to the shipping issues, e.g. damage in transit, long delays before delivery, having to open the box and inspecting the TV before signing the shipping docs, having your ordered canceled by the seller? In my case, I would say the answer is that it is not worth doing business with this company.

Buyer beware bigtime! I recently ordered on the internet the Samsung LN-40A550p, intially want ed to order the LNT-4071. I got scammed like alot of other people, with the bait and switch technique of saying " that model is out of stock" can we substite this one? Upon further investigation, getting a different salesman, that if fact it was in stock and they substituted a different model that they said they were going to ship. After saying that I would get my order in a week, it finally came after 3 calls back to them, and three weeks ater. After complaining that I wanted to return the deal, they said there would be a 15% restocking fee, 10% was inwriting on the invoice, plus a double way shipping charge of $347, when initially it was free. Alot of double talking to discourge you to return the sale. Don't even think about doing business here. Plus, they use another alias name for their website called Pcvideoonline.com, which is the same company as PriceMad.com look it up! Total scammers!! they make it look like it's a different company with different prices for the same exact model. Stay clear!!

My order on May 27, 2008, as of today, July 9, 2008 has never been shipped. I was promised 'in 2 weeks' the four different times I called. I finally cancelled the order today and have yet to receive a confirmation that this has been done. I will never use this company again.

This store did a classic bait-and-switch on me. They advertised a highly-rated tv at a slighter lower price than anyone else on the internet. I placed my order. They called me the next day to say they had a newer model tv at "a great price". I declined that offer and said I wanted what I ordered. They said okay but the tv never arrived. They didn't charge my credit card, so they're not total crooks. They just generate a lot of sales traffic by false advertising and then trying to switch people to easily available products at average prices.

If you’re considering buying something from PriceMad consider this, I ignored all the bad reviews about them and paid for my stupidity.
On May 6 2008 I bought a new Samsung HDTV for $1618 from PriceMad. What they shipped was not new, and it had been re-packed so poorly, using hand-chopped-up pieces of Styrofoam as packing material, that the TV frame was scratched from rocking around in the box. The HDTV was dead on arrival.
I was outraged. I took pictures, sent them to PriceMad in an email, and called them. The shipping manager, who I was referred to with my complaint, tried to tell me that it was probably FEDEX that re-packed the HDTV after it left PriceMad’s store. This sounds to me like management is complicit in bait and switch scamming. If our shipping manager switched and packed a product like that in my former company, and used FEDEX as an excuse, he would have been fired on the spot.
I was asked by PriceMad to call in a Samsung service person to repair the HDTV. After considering my options I did have the HDTV repaired. The technician looked at the TV and asked me if I thought this was a used TV. I did, and he must have also. I filed a dispute with my credit card company to try to recover the difference in price between a new and a used TV. Sending them this one back and waiting an undetermined amount of time for a replacement did not seem to be an option given their deceitful practices to date – they had my money and I wouldn’t have anything if I sent the TV back.
From my research on Ebay and Craig’s List I found a used HDTV exactly like the one I bought for $750 less than what I paid. I settled for $350 refund from PriceMad. What a screw job.

I have never dealt with such a pathetic bunch of sales BS in my life! PriceMad is the worst website to buy ANYTHING from. I ordered my TV through the website, did the "call-back" where they tried to convince me to buy a newer model even though the one I ordered said it ships in 2 to 3 days. I refused to get a different model and was told it would be here in 2 weeks. After two and a half weeks I called and was told by Brian the schmuck that it's a hard model to find, and he would have it to me next week. Two weeks later (today) I called to cancel. He tried one last time to sell me a different TV, at EIGHTY BUCKS MORE than the website advertises. What a *%#*@ idiot. I cancelled the order, he said he would send me a cancellation email...still haven't gotten it. They will not return phone calls, or emails, and they put you on hold for up to 20 minutes EVERY TIME you call. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE LOSERS! This review was modified by its author, grandpoisson, on

I ordered a new Infocus projector and recieved an email that I need to call to confirm the order. Then I was told that the item I ordered was discontinued and they have a much better projector for me at $200.00 more. Well, I was stupid enough to agree and was sent a cheaper, (REFURBISHED) projector without the accesories and the first time I used it there was a loud pop and everything went dead, never to be revived again. After a month of phone hassels, being hung up on, shuffeled numerous times from one sales rep to another and loosing them in the meantime, I finally recieved my "Cheap" projector. I have been promised the accesories so many times and never recieved anything that I am giving up and buying it from another sourse. This is the worst experience I've ever had in online transactions, and I warn you to not buy from this outfit. I should have known by the name that something is not professional. I will never do business with this outfit again, and even though I suposingly have a warranty for this projector, I am not willing to go through the hours of phone hassel to get them to respond. Save yourself the grief and stay away from them.

I order a Samsung 46" HDTV on line from Pricemad. I received an email giving me a number to call to confirm the order. I called and was informed the model I ordered was unavailable but was talked into a newer model with better specs for around $100 more. The website said there was free freight. It did not mention 3% would be added for required insurance coverage. I received an email saying my TV would be delivered 9 days later. It wasn't! Upon investigation I learned that supposedly my TV was delivered to a customer in Florida who upon opening it discovered it was not the model he ordered. The TV was in a box that had been previously opened and was not well packed. He repacked it and it was picked up four days later. Two days later the TV was delivered to me. It was not the TV I ordered but one that was $600 less expensive. It was also very dusty and scuffed up. I called customer service at Pricemad but discovered that although their sales department has extended phone hours their customer service department does not. It's open 10:30-5:00 M-F. Tomorrow I will try to resolve this nightmare--if I get through to customer service.

Place the order online. No email confirmation next day. I called up next day, the guide said the item was back order. He told me to switch to different model. So i agree, found out couple hours later that the replacement model is cheaper and nothing special except higher contrast. So i called up to cancel my order, they didn't allow me to cancel, the man said "why you want to cancel the order, we will get charge back", and he hung up on me. I sent them to emails to cancel my order and without any respond back, but finally i got my refund. I've learned my lesson. For those like low prices, make sure you look at it before buying. I won't buy from this stupid store again.

SAVE YOURSELF THE DRAMA!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!
We ordered a 50 inch plasma through priceline. We immediately got the "call to confirm your order" bait and switch to order the more expensive model because they were out of that model. We figured it was still 200 dollars less than the stores so we did. Here we are in the middle of April with NO TV, NO SHIPMENT DATE, NO TRACKING. Every time I called for shipping confirmation I got the run around, "they're so busy, they don't track ground delivery, yadda yadda". Well today I am on hold with pricemad RIGHT NOW, I have been transfered at least 10 times to cancel this order and I've been waiting to speak about it for 20 minutes!! What they don't know, is that I have disputed the charge anyway with mastercard while on hold. OHHHH!!! just got to talk to "BRIAN" the "manager". He hung up on me when I told him I disputed the charge. They said they'd give me a full refund, then hung up. I hope so.
Like I said, save yourself the drama. Buy local.

As far as customer service goes, these guys are about the worst I have ever dealt with. They promise things that are not true, they do not return phone calls, they do not return e-mails, you are left on hold for up to an hour with no check-in or hold music, and they are all very good at transfering you to someone else to deal with. I tried to order a TV that they didn't have in stock. The salesman tried to get me to buy something else because he was more concerned about making a sale at that moment. I was then told it would take aout a week to ship to their warehouse and another week to ship to me. Well, after two weeks there was nothing. I would call and they would say it should be there in a few days, or it has already left their warehouse. Finally, after about a month of getting one dishonest answer after another, I finally cancelled the order. Customer service and honesty is something that you can't put too much of a price on. I would NEVER recommend anyone ever buying something from these guys. If they would have just said it would take 2 months to get one, or that they couldn' get one at all, I would have had more respect for them since they were honest. But, that never happened. Avoid Pricemad at all costs!!!
