It may be a while before I buy something online again.
I placed an order 29 days ago, and even though my credit card was charged the day I placed the order- I still have not received the items ordered, which are guaranteed on the website to ship in "3 business days" or shipping is free (no, my shipping has not been refunded.)
Chumba toys never sent me any kind of tracking information other than "your order has been sent out USPS priority mail." I did receive a confirmation number, but it apparently means nothing as I have left it on several phone messages and emails and not one of them has acknowledged it.
I have emailed customer service six times with only one response which seemed automated.
I still have nothing. Never have I felt so helpless as an online buyer. They have a support email address and a phone number that you can leave a message on (but not reach an actual person) which must be rarely (if ever) monitored.
Six years of buying various things on ebay from nearly one hundred sellers and never have I been as "in the dark" about something I have bought online. I have bought similar items from other websites, and though I paid a bit more, I had no problems.
In closing, my last email to them demanded a refund, but, like all but one of the others, I still haven't received a response.
Good luck shopping, and if you buy from Chumbatoys , don't say I didn't warn you.
