ordered over $400 worth of Vtech cordless 5.8ghz phones and expandable handsets. They arrived in a Panasonic box (talk about poor!) and they looked like they had been returned already. So I packed them up in the same crappy box and shipped at my expense and when the credit came on my card like a week later, they debited $66 as shipping and handling charges. I was like, WTF!, and when I called customer service, they realized they didnt refund my tax and I was still left in the hole $33, even though they don't charge for shipping, they deduct it on returns, in addition to some arbitrary 'processing fee'. I calculated the cost of a 10 pound shipment from Austin, TX to New York, NY and UPS ground (the same method they used) would cost me only $10.10, so where I ask you does the other $23 bucks go?
