I ordered Wed afternoon and received an e-mail to call. They offered a 5 yr. extended warranty, I declined. The web account showed it was shipped a few days later and my NEW TomTom Go920 GPS arrived Fri a week later by FedEx gnd. A total of 7 bus days. I would have liked it faster but wouldn't we all. I am a happy camper. 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

I purchased a Canon Power Shot SD880IS digital camera from RedTagSavings.com. RedTagSavings.com does business on the internet under several different names. They are all located in Brooklyn/Kensington, New York on Coney Island Avenue. My receipt came with the name TrustedDealer.com. The name RedTagSavings did not appear on the invoice.
I received an e-mail confirmation of my order. Several days later, I received another email requesting that I call them for security reasons and that my order had not been processed.. Camera arrived 3 weeks later in a white box with Canon logo, but no other identification information. No warranty card/ registration card or memory card were included.. After reordering this camera from a different seller, I found out that the original box is blue/green with a picture of the camera along with the model number. I also found out that the battery provided by Canon has a longer life than the one included by RedTagSavings.com (1120mAh instead of 750mAh)
Camera appeared to be new, but was defective. RedTagSavings.com has a 10 day return policy rather than the standard 30 day. Attempts to email or phone RedtagSavings.com proved useless, however, I was able to contact TrustedDealer.com. The courteous man on the phone explained that the 2 companies are “affiliated’. He provided a return authorization number, but refused to pay the shipping charges to return the camera. I have never received confirmation of my return. I called my credit card company to withhold payment.

I found the store while looking for a GPS unit for my Dad's birthday. The site made it look and sound great, said it was in stock. I called the store to confirm that it was available and to get a ship date. I was told the unit was in stock and would ship that day probably arriving in less than three days. My credit card was charged immediately and when nothing showed in three days I called and was told it shipped last weekend but they could not give me the tracking number yet. Two days later I called again. "It was shipped yesterday," I was told and still no tracking number. Three days later and the day before my Dads birthday I called again and was told it shipped a few days ago but no tracking number because it wasn't in the computer yet. I said just cancel the order and credit my account because it won't make the birthday I intended it for. They stated it was to late it was shipped and nothing could be done. One week ( 7 days) later I get an e-mail saying the unit was just shipped and would arrive in three days. I now have to dispute the charge on my credit card because they will not credit my account. BUYER BEWARE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE. I wish I had read these reviews before my purchase.

DO NOT Order from this company. Their Customer Service Department could not care less what problem you have. I spent better than 30 minutes on the phone just to be told that the manager would have to deal with my problem and he would be in "sometime later." They also will not refund any accessories or warranties you buy. So buy all your device protection and accessories from somebody else in case you have a problem, because these guys are not going to care. In all one of the WORST internet shopping experiences I have had, I will NEVER use this site again!!!

Hello,
have you people noticed that writing reviews here won't do anything to stop these criminals.
I wrote an email to my local television station. We all need to do that.
People need to know who they really are.
PLEASE WRITE TO YOUR LOCAL TELEVISION STATION TELLING ABOUT RED TAG SAVINGS STORE. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO STOP THEM.
Don't let them win. When I realized what kind of people they were, I canceled my credit card, called american express explained the situation, and I also sent them this website, all my emails to the company. I didn't get my camera, but I got my money back. DON'T LET THEM WIN!

Just like all the others, I placed an order and got an email asking me to call and confirm.
Upon calling them back, I was told that the Canon Powershot SD850 only came with a 30 minute battery, and getting the heavy sell to upgrade to a different battery. (Lieavign aside the issue that this is clearly a blatant lie.) Since I consistently said "no", my in-stock item still shows as in processing, and is likely never to move out of that status.
Scam alert! ! !

AWFUL! These guys are REALLY shady. I ordered my GPS unit on April 29th. After a few days and no shipping confirmation email, I called them to check on the status of my order. I was told that the unit had to be sent back to the company in order to receive the latest firmware install or something like that. They said that they had just received the unit back that day and would ship it to me Express Mail. He then tried to sell me a 6 year warranty. I decided that this company was so shady that I should get the warranty in order to protect myself and realized that if I hadn't done so, they would probably send me a defective unit. Today (May 12), I tracked my FedEx order and noticed that it was being shipped to the BILLING ADDRESS, not the shipping address I provided. I called them to complain about this and got their manager on the phone who tried to claim that he called me and told me he couldn't ship to the shipping address because it wasn't associated with the credit card. WHAT? Since when does a shipping address have to be associated with your credit card?? Nevermind the fact that I had NEVER even had this conversation with this guy. He claims we spoke on the phone and he explained this to me but that never happened. DON'T USE REDTAGSAVINGS, THEY ARE GRADE A NEW YORK CITY CRIMINALS!

After placing this order on 1/13, and paying for express shipping so that it was supposed to arrive on 1/15, i received an email on 1/15 telling me to call them to complete my order- which is where the guy managed to sell me a warranty package- and told me it would be shipped that day. Then, I received yet ANOTHER call from a lady who was extremely rude and even CUSSED me-and hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a manager- who told me he was going to overnight my order (on 1/15). I received an email on 1/17 with a fedex tracking number, which is not valid-
It is now 1/24 and I still have not received this order- even though they charged my credit card $747.00 on 1/17.

As with other reviews I've read here I had the same exact experience. I placed an order on Jan. 6th, it still hasn't arrived but my AMEX invoice with the charge on it has. When I look at their website, my order is still 'in processing'. When I telephoned, nothing but rudeness, I was told my order was too OLD to cancel then she hung up on me when I tried to speak! I telephoned right back and was told I couldn't cancel my order until tomorrow, when a 'manager' was around to do it. This is ridiculous! On my order they also tacked on a $149.00 5 yr service contract for the pc I ordered that I did not authorize. I'm glad I found this site because I hadn't thought to contact my credit card company right away, but now I will and hope they can do something, and I will also contact the better business bureau up there. I've never had such a low opinion of any other on-line transaction in my life. As all others here have said, DON'T DO BUSINESS with these charletans. They are fraudulent, liars and unethical in every business manner imaginable!! I have never, ever ordered anything on-line that charged my credit card before the item was shipped. It's wrong, wrong, wrong!!!
Update 1/25: I telephoned again and changed from asking to 'cancel' my order (that never got me a manager or anything, just rudeness)to asking about the status of my order, the girl told me it just shipped out that day, express, pretty slick on their part to ship it (or say they did anyway)so as not to deal with a cancellation and reimbursing my cc. She told me it shipped one carrier, but when I checked on-line it was shipped via another carrier and had a tracking number that is bogus. Anyway, very much to my surprise the pc was delivered today with the carrier the girl told me. It was not the pc I ordered, but one with a bigger hd and a faster processing speed, and is basically comparable in all other ways to the one I ordered. Appeared to be factory sealed too, so I'll keep it. I'll close my inquiry with AMEX, and pay my bill. But the complaint with the BBB stays, there's just no reason to be rude and unethical. I've given up the thought of trying to get my $149.00 for the warranty I didn't want, nor ask for, but was charged for. It's just not worth the hassle anymore. I'm sick of dealing with these people. I'll never deal with redtagsavings, digital delivered, or trusted seller again. Please beware of these guys! This review was modified by its author, naddyranks, on

I will never purchase from this site (or their affiliates) again. I had the same experience as others. They hook you with a low sales price, call you to "reconfirm" your info under the guise of a "security check" and then try to sell you additional items at double the price. When you try to get a credit or process a return, they are rude and hang up on your. When you tell them that you have no option but to dispute the charge, they say "go ahead, AMEX loves us and has all the information on our procedures". We'll see. I'm calling AMEX next.

I was looking for a Garmin Streetpilot GPS. They advertised a very good price with 2-day free shipping. A day later i received a call from them saying that they wanted to confirm my shipping information. Tnen i was offered a price on an external antenna, normally i don't purchase anything without first checking prices, but in a weak moment i said ok. It took three days to receive the package, which was alright with me. Though product box was'nt sealed all the pieces were there. My major complaint was the price of the antenna. After checking online i could have gotten it for $70-90 less. I suggest that anyone thinking of buying from them seriously consider the reviews submitted here.
