I purchased the plasma TV Pioneer PDP-5020FD and my experience was completely perfect. Communication, price, delivery time and method - all were to my total satisfaction.

I too was surprised at the prices for the Pioneer TVs. $3900 for a TV selling at Best Buy for $5500? Ordering, tracking, and delivery - Textbook. The way other sites should strive for.

I was very skeptical about buying such a large, expensive purchase over the internet, sight unseen, but I had heard good things about Plasma Concepts and the price was significantly less than anything I had seen in stores, so I took the chance. This was a surprise birthday present for my husband, so I had to figure it all out on my own, which made me a little nervous. I shouldn't have worried. The 60" Pioneer Plasma TV arrived earlier than expected (only 4 days) in perfect condition and with all the paperwork. Scheduling the delivery was really simple and they were very flexible. The delivery team was very professional and extremely helpful. I had a lot of questions and they were able to help me with all off them. And of course the TV is awesome. My husband was blown away that I pulled this off without him knowing about it, and he loves it. I would highly recommend Plasma Concepts to all my friends, and will definitely use them again in the future.

Like many, I'm hesitant to drop thousands of dollars with a company I have never done business with or, for that matter, even heard of. The opportunity to save hundreds of dollars along with free shipping was enough of an enticement to investigate the opportunity further.  
 
One of the first things I noticed was that Plasma Concepts is an authorized re-seller of Pioneer products. If anyone is familiar with Pioneer, it is extremely difficult to become an authorized re-seller of their products and just as difficult to maintain that status. Pioneer demands re-sellers meet certain criteria and rewards customers of those re-sellers with factory autorized warranties. Most Internet electronics vendors are not authorized to sell Pioneer products but do so without providing the Pioneer factory warranty.  
 
Still not completely convinced, I spent some time with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) in Ohio. Plasma Concepts is listed with the BBB in Ohio under the name of HT Concepts and carries an "A" rating. The rating is not an endorsement from the BBB but rather is a reflection of Plasma Concepts willingness to resolve customer complaints or otherwise work with consumers to minimize or resolve any issues that may be encountered. Additionally, there were no recorded entries of unresolved complaints or pending actions against Plasma Concepts.  
 
With the above information in mind I decided to place an order and am extremely pleased with my decision. I placed the order on-line and received e-mail confirmation shortly thereafter that the order had been recieved an an order ID was provided. Not long after that a second e-mail was received with order tracking information and the name and e-mail address of someone I could contact directly if need. At least three additional e-mails were receied prior to the TV being delivered.  
 
Five days (including a weekend) after the order had been placed the TV was delivered. The TV was well packaged with no marks, cuts, gouges or or other damage marks to the shipping crate. The TV was unpackaged and found to be in perfect condition.  
 
The bottom line is that I am extremely happy with Plasma Concepts and the shipper they chose to deliver the product. Although I didn't have an issue with damaged merchandise or a defective product, I'm confident Plasma Concepts would have handled the issue in a manner befitting their "A" rating with the BBB. I would definately do business with Plasma Concepts again.

Wow! Bought a Pioneer PDP5020-FD Plasma from these guys, within a few $ of best price anywhere online for this unit, and free shipping, an authorized dealer (then my Amex extends warranty for another year). Very professional to deal with, confirmed stock, gave clear acceptance instructions, shipping confirmation and tracking #s emailed next day. Shipping co. calls 2 days later (it was air freighted), arrived to my door in perfect condition, excellent experience!

This was a very pleasant experience. The communications were great and my 60" HDTV was delivered 3 days after I ordered it. The follow-up was also excellent. I would highly reccomend this company.

Count me in as one of the people who cringes at the idea of buying a $4000 TV from an Ohio-based company and shipped to Southern California. But I decided on the 60" Pioneer PDP-6020FD and found it locally for $5500, however I needed to get in the queue for an order that would likely be delivered at the end of September.  
 
I went home, searched around online and found Plasma Concepts selling the exact same model for UNDER $4000 with free shipping. (Think about that: free air shipping from Ohio to California.) The reviews here were flawless, so it was suddenly worth the risk to save $1500.  
 
Ordered on the 09/02/08 and it arrived 9/10. From placement of order, to tracking the order, to having it delivered on time by quite possibly the nicest and most professional delivery guys I've ever, ever met, the entire transaction was above and beyond my expectations.  
 
Do NOT hesitate to use Plasma Concepts for buying your next display.

WoW, what a smooooooth transaction! I was a little skeptical about ordering such a large TV at such a reasonable price over the net but took a risk and won ! Un-believeable service. I thought it would take weeks to receive this 60 inch tv and they shipped it the next day by air freight. It was on delivered in about 4 days. And the freight company they used was the best sevice I have ever received ( 100 % better than fedex or ups ) I called them when I saw the tracking info said the tv was on the truck for delivery and I had to leave the house by 1:30 to be a work, so I called the NY dispatch office for the number I had and they gave me the local trucking companys phone number, contacted them and they called the drive and he arrrived at 2:45pm !! Won't happen with UPS/ Fedex !! And the Pionner TV is fantastic. Shipped on a pallet safe and sound !! Keep up the great service !!

Just took delivery of my new Pioneer PDP-5020 from Plasma Concepts. I could have ordered it from Amazon, but I wanted to make sure I actually had a person I could contact if I had a problem. Plus, I'm all for supporting smaller companies over behemoths.  
 
Very polite over the phone, no muss no fuss, no hard sell for upgrades or warranties.  
 
The tracking number appeared on their website 2 days after ordering, with the phone number of the freight company. I called them and they politely told me my shipment would be in the Chicago area (where I live) in two days. I called back two days later and they forwarded me to the local Chicago freight company. That company was also very polite (Do I sound surprised?...) and arranged for delivery the next day.  
The guy who delivered it was also "normal" and careful with the box. He waited while I popped open the box for inspection.  
No broken glass, no hum, no dead pixels and a stunning picture to boot.  
 
It was the kind of transaction I wanted: UNEVENTFUL! (which is usually not my luck...)

I was amazed at the superior rating of plasmaconcepts.com and since they also tied a few other sites for the lowest price for my Pioneer 60" plasma TV (PDP-6020), I decided to give them a try. Not much to say except everthing went as smoothly as possible. I placed the order on-line and got my television in perfect condition about a week later. plasmaconcepts has an excellent return policy as well which also made it easier for me to try them out. Absolutely no complaints here.

I bought a new 60" Pioneer Kuro from them that I had tried to buy from another online store. The first one refused to sell it to me for the price they advertised. Plasma Concepts' price was just a little higher than the first store. The purchase from Plasma Concepts went perfectly. Everything happened as they said it would and the item arrived on time in perfect condition. Excellent experience.

I had previously attempted to purchase a Pioneer PDP-6020FD from two other on-line retailers, and both pulled a bait & switch. The TV just started shipping this month from Pioneer, so I expected availability problems. Both retailers claimed the units were in stock and took my order, but one insisted I pay extra for the "bundle" which included the stand (which comes with the TV anyway, so it was a lie) and some HDMI cable kit for $300, and the other insisted that I purchase an expended warranty and the same BS about a cable kit. When I refused, both refused to sell me the TV at the advertised price. Back to the web, when I ran across Plasma Concepts. When I spoke to the rep at Plasma Concepts, I shared my previous experiences, and insisted that if they were going to pull the same thing, tell me immediately before I wasted any more time. The rep responded that they don't play those games, and took my order for the advertised price with no "catches" at all. I was quite honestly shocked. Even more so, I purchased the TV on a Thursday morning, and received the TV the very next day! And that was with the standard shipping that came bundled in the price with the TV! I live in MA, and I believe they're in NY, so not too far, but far enough where I didn't expect to receive the unit in 24 hours. The shipping carton arrived without a scratch, and the delivery guy was extremely pleasant and personable, leaving the unit in my garage. The TV is now mounted on the wall, zero defects, beautiful picture, and I'm so glad I purchased it from Plasma Concepts. They even followed up twice via email to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Yes, an on-line retailer that actually knows how to spell "Customer Service". Who knew? I would absolutely buy from them again, and YOU NEED TO BUY FROM THEM TOO!
