I've purchased a number of items from BatteryJunction, from batteries to flashlights, and I've always been satisfied with the price, product quality, and customer service.  
 
I'm also a member of a discussion forum where Matt (BatteryJunction) is a frequent contributer, sharing his knowledge and expertise. He comes across as a down-to-earth sort of guy. He's a very well-respected person in the forum.  
 
After reading the reviews here, I have a hard time believing a couple of them. I think we're missing part of the story. For the rest, there are valid concerns about inventory, stocking, and delivery times... primarily around the hectic holiday season when all of the (smaller) web-based companies are at the whim of the manufacturers and/or distributors as to when products will be available.  
 
All-in-all, I can tell you that my experiences have been very positive. You can trust that Matt is a stand-up fellow. BatteryJunction isn't a rip-off, fly-by-night operation. They sell quality products. And based on other people's feedback, it seems that most are satisfied, too. The one weak area might be product inventory, so if you really need something and can't afford to wait, I'd suggest contacting their customer service to confirm inventory prior to ordering.

Ordered a Steripen system on the Friday and it was dispatched the same day, delivered to North Sydney Australia the following Thursday (only six days !). Item was well packaged.

First order was fine - Second order many problems. Web site claims items in stock - then they email you to offer substitutions and try to explain away delays. Stay away from Nuon AA Lithium batteries - great price compaired to Energizer - But the product is junk. Lithium batteries should outlast Alkline, but the Nuon's died less than one minute after powering up my camera. Warning - When the price seems too good to be true - you're getting ripped off!

Ordered some Energizer CR123A 3V lithiums, since they seemed to have the best price. Shipping was fast via USPS Priority Mail, communication and tracking information very good, and product seems fine. The price was so low (except shipping a bit high) that I was a little worried the batteries might be counterfeit, but they look and seem to perform as genuine. The low price apparently is a result of bulk packaging, no retail blister pack. Very pleased, will order from them again.

for the ranch. Called the next day to ask a few questions, they were very helpful. I like these guys, I can do busniess with them. Great products and service.

Ordered 2 Inova T4 flashlights. 2 weeks later they arrived in the Netherlands (but that is due to the slow customs in the Netherlands). Everything went perfect. When I need other flashlights I will definitely order again at batteryjunction.com!

I BOUGHT A $160 SPOTLIGHT THAT WAS DEFECTIVE FROM THEM I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK AND NOT ONLY ARE THEY NOT WILLING TO GIVE BACK MY $13 BUT WANT TO CHARGE ME A $24(15%) RESTOCKING FEE THATS $37 FOR WHICH I RECEIVE NOTHING --- RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Oops, if I had read earlier reviews, I might not have purchased. However in fairness my order was fine, as advertised.  
 
I'm beginning to think that every online order is a crapshoot, with any company. I've had varied service from many online companies, some with good and some with bad reputations. Still it is worth some attention at least to Reseller's average recent ratings. Encourage your friends to review too. The more votes, the better the data. Cheers.

This company charged my credit card knowing they did not have the stock. Then a couple of days later sent a letter saying they will have stock in 10-14 days. After 10-14 days I cancelled, no further notices from BJ. They still say "Usually ships next day" for the products on their site. I do not frequent sites that charge before shipping, I'm sorry I trusted this one.

I would not purchase from them again. Wife is calling now to cancel my order for the Maxpedition Versipack. We order this on 11/27 and got an e-mail on 12/1 saying the productwas oversold, and that new stock would arrive in 10-12 days. This was my Christmas gift from my wife. Today 12/20, we get another not saying it will be another 10-12 days, and that it would arrive to me in 2008. This is huge disappointment for me, and I will NEVER do business with this in the future. If you want Maxpedition, please visit LAPOLICEGEAR.com or eBags.com Both have the product in stock, and that won't ruin your holiday gift giving.

We have ordered several times from Battery Junction. They have excellent prices and have provided above quality order turn around. Every order we have placed has been shipped in the same day we have ordered. We are very pleased with the products we have ordered and the service we receive from Battery Junction.

I found their website through CPF, and they seemed to have good comments and feedback on them so I gave them a try. I needed something asap and I ordered it Thursday evening and they were able to accommodate me and have it shipped with Saturday overnight delivery on Friday! Excellent customer service with fast response. I will definitely keep shopping here and I just made another purchase from them today.

The short version: we got a couple of little LED keychain lights for a great price with no hassles.  
 
Deciding I'd had it with my AAA Maglite Solitaire, I wanted to get a little LED light for both my self and the missus to put on our keychains. While I'd love an Arc AAA, I couldn't justify that sort of price for an occasional-use light, so I settled for a couple of Photon's Freedom Micro lights.  
 
After searching around for prices, I came across batteryjunction.com, who were offering these at $10 apiece, which is a bargain compared to the $17 asking price on Photon's website. The next lowest price I found was $15.  
 
On top of that, I found a 5% off coupon. Not much, but every little bit helps defray shipping costs.  
 
Speaking of which, batteryjunction.com offered to ship both lights for $5 via USPS. This is a big advantage over other online shops that only want to ship to Hawai'i via Fedex or UPS, and charge exorbitant amounts to do so. $5 is a little steep for such a small, light package and I'm sure they're making some money off that price, but it beat the competition, so I can't complain too much.  
 
The lights arrived in retail packaging in a little padded envelope about a week later. They seem to be as advertised, including the handy little magnetic clip for handsfree use.  
 
Anyway, overall I'm pretty satisfied with this order and with this site.

I order frequently from online stores and never have I received my product as fast as I did from Battery Junction!  
 
Within 1/2 hour of ordering I received a notification that my order had shipped and less than one business day later I received it (I ordered Friday afternoon and received it Tuesday morning (Monday being a holiday).  
 
I placed three other online orders that week and needless to say, Battery Junction was the first to arrive even though I had placed the other orders earlier that week.

That may not seem fast to you, but since I live in Greenland, in a small town, far from anything (only accessible by boat or helicopter), I’m impressed.  
Besides I find the prices more than reasonable (including the shipping price)…  
Very good service, that make me feel valued as a customer…
