I ordered a refurbished blue-night cd readio, it normally cost 99.99. I payed 14.99 on clearance,and it looks and sounds really great,couldn't be happer.

Ordered T-Fal Avante Elite 4-Slice Toaster. Good price. Fast delivery. Packaging not all that good, but no internal damage. Fast delivery.

I recently went online to buy some christmas gifts for friends and family and found the website to be very easy to use and my items were all at my home 6 days later.I love sharper image.

I do not have the order number of exact date so I just entered a 1. This would relate to the overall experience with Sharper Image over a group of orders thids summer.
You can generally count on Sharper Image to be very satisfactory. If there is a problem after the sale they fix it to the customers satisfaction.
The shopping experience at Sharper Image is tops from beginning to end. Actually there is no end until you are completely satisfied.

I ordered the Archos av700 which I knew was on b/o and a pair of the shure E2C earphones. I was really surprised I called sharper image up to see how long DVR would be on back order and they told me they came in and the order was in the process of being shipped as we spoke on the phone. I would order from sharper image again with out any problems and would recommend them to anyone looking for a company to order from with peace on mind. well I finally got my stuff and I did not mention that before I placed my order I called customer service and asked if they price match and I was told yes. I asked how do I get the difference I was told after my order was placed print out a copy of the website and as long as it is a legit website the items were not on sale to fax them the printed pages of the items and as long as they were the same exact item I would get the difference. well I was waiting for the difference to be applied back to my credit card for appox $132.00 and did not see anyhing yet and on 7/8/06 I got a letter saying that they cannot price match because there was no physical store to purchased the stuff off the street and it was only a website. Well called up monday morning 7/10/06 and started raising he*l telling them I was never told that I was just told if I found it cheaper on a legit website they would match the price customer service told me there was nothing they can do because the letter was from corporate.I called corporate and got bounced around there and decided to call customer service again.I spoke to a C/S rep that I spoke the on 7/7/06 and she said she was sorry and because the letter was from corporate she cannot override the letter. Well I told them I am called my credit card company and disputing the amount she said the best she can do for me was give me a $50 gift card and I accepted that but when doing business with anybody with price matching make sure you get all the specs before doing anything. Borderline fraud.. though im sure corporate has nothing to do with it. Whomever prepared my shipment put the older version (cheaper less effective) product in the new and improved box. I open the box.. and there was the box to the cheaper old version of my item.. It fit right inside.. how convenient. The need a little more quality control.. this is ridiculous. I couldn't believe it. Not only for one product but both products i ordered i was given the outdated cheap version when i paid for the new and improved version. Horrible experience. And now i have to wait for a return label to arrive.. they should be sending me the right stuff.. right now!!!

Took the items to my local sharper image and they exchanged them for the correct items with only a few minor questions and an apology. Bottom Line.. go to a Sharper Image store rather than order online to avoid a mishap. This review was modified by its author, Impc830, on

Sharper Image and PayPal have a "free shipping" promotion. Unfortunately it isn't always free and you can't tell prior to sealing the deal and making the payment with PayPal. Upon my questions to customer service, I was offered about 1/2 of the shipping charges refunded. For various reasons, unknown before finalizing the order, some items do not qualify for this promotion. Customer service is slow and the order was sent, I was charged and I will have to refuse the order when it arrives to obtain a refund.

I ordered on November 30 (sunday). I got an email saying it had shipped on Dec.1st. It ACTUALLY shipped on Dec.3rd though. I was VERY disappointed because I always thought of the sharper image as a high quality company. UPDATE: According to UPS it shipped on Dec.3rd and arrived on Dec. 5th. I ordered a scooter, and 2 sets of wheels. 1 week later, the scooter was delivered, but the wheels were not in the box, although they were listed as being shipped in the box. I called on the 5/23, the day it was delivered, and was promised they would go out immediately, and I would receive them by 5/30. When I did not receive them, I called back on 6/2, and was told the shipping department is now processing requests from 5/20, and will get to mine "soon".
I am very disappointed with the service from this company, and will definitely remember this when purchasing again.

I think Sharper Image has the absolute worse customer service on the planet. I've had a whole string of episodes which make wonder why I even patronize them. I no longer do by the way. My last incidence was a doozy. I went to sharper image to exchange a purchase. Nothing major, the item cost about $20. This was on a Sunday the sales manager left me in the front of the store for about 20 minutes. Upon his return he told me he was instructed not to do business with me. I couldn't understand the reason for this and long story short, after an argument with the manager I left the store. I called their customer service department who told me they could not understand why the manager would do such a thing. Not only do they not have any policies that would support that...Customer service was closed on Sunday. After complaining to everyone all the way up to the corporate level, I never even got so much as a return phone call.
Part Two:
I had problems with a GPS system I bought from Sharper image. They told me to return it to them and they would replace it. I returned it with their shipping label and never received anything from them. A couple of weeks later I called them to follow up. They told me they received an empty box and could not help me any further. Now I'm out another $300 for a Megellan navigation system. This store could burn for all I care. Bankruptcy is too good for them.
If you've got any sense at all you will never set foot on their property. They stink in every sense of the work.

Horrible customer service and slow shipping. I placed an order for a compact fan on 8/06 and it arrived over a week later. The fan was defective so I called to get it replaced. The customer rep said they would send me out another and just to throw away the old one. Two weeks later, I still have not received my new fan. I called in again and a different customer rep said that the fan was on back order and they were sorry they never notified me (Sounded like a load of BS.) The rep said that the item JUST came back in stock (Yeah, ok) and they would send out another right away. Their site never had the item listed on back order. I will never purchase anything from Sharper Image again.

My order was delayed without any communication. The order status was forever in a "Processing" state. I was unable to reach the company by phone. I sent two e-mails which went unanswered. I sent a third e-mail asking to cancel the order. That e-mail also went unanswered.
Five days after I placed the order I received an automated e-mail saying my order didn't pass address verification. Five days is way too long. AVS is instantaneous. Something is definitely amiss with this company's online retail system. And five days is shipping gold during the holidays.
I ordered through another company and had to boost shipping to next day because of this lousy service.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've experienced on the web.
Ordered a piece of exercise equipment from their web site on 8/31, said expected ship date of 9/6. 9/11 comes and still says "Processing" on their web site. I call on 9/12 and the customer service rep. says it is still processing, will ship in a few days. I tell him to cancel it still, so he puts me on hold and then tells me it's now magically shipped and he cannot refund the price, but that I am suppose to refuse the shipment.
Now, if it shipped, where is my tracking number? What a lie. I suspect that a chargeback will be in order.

Very clever scam.
Ordered $250 worth of goods online. Used a $100 off $200 coupon. So far so good. Two out of the three items show up in a few days. Third item is out of stock, but no worries, an email states that i will receive the last item within 30 days. 60 days pass and no third item.
I send in a complaint to their customer service asking for a refund for that item. They respond that because they subtracted the $100 coupon from that item (which cost $100), they owed me nothing since that item's cost was $0.
So in affect, they attracted me to buy stuff with the coupon, but i ended up paying full cost.
