I was disapponited when the phones arrived and the manual for one is in Arabic sorry i speak English. I also did not receive one item and nothing was mentioned on the invoice if it is back ordered or just not coming. They did ship the phones out fast but the manual is really upsetting to me shipping address in the U.S.A should be sent with an English manual.

Dear winger696969:
We apologize for the incorrect shipment that you received, although we must say that the mistake is not on our side. Rather than place blame on another party however, we do admit that we are partly at fault. We don't inspect the packages that we send because we want our customers to receive mint condition products.
We hope that you will still consider us as your number one source of unlocked phones and accessories. We also thank you for your patronage.
Thanks,

CELL HUT.
I am not at all happy with my order. The phone doesn't look new. I cannot get it work even for a day before I have to re-charge it. The re-charge takes more than four hours. Now, the phone stoppped charging. The charge point and the cable doesn't fit properly.
I got the phone on June30 and the website says I cannot return.
The customer service is terrible. They are not customer friendly. I am just two days late for the return policy, and they don't consider my return request.I feel horrible. Never seen a company like this.

Dear rsbandha:
We are very sorry for the problems that have occurred with your order. We do everything we can to double check the products before we send them out. Sometimes the vendors, who are usually very good at delivering products we want, accidentally give us products that are refurbished. To improve the battery life of your phone trying dimming the screen and keypad light. Concerning your warranty: Our policy is strict and used to deter fraud orders. Again we hope this order hasn't caused you too much trouble and you will still consider us as your source for unlocked cell phones.
Thanks,

I received my phone from CellHut today and, unlike they state in their "on hold" message it was NOT "directly from the manufacturer" but from a service provider (Vodafone). The phone was NOT unlocked as it was advertised to be and I cannot use it.
I spoke with a customer service representative (after holding for 19 minutes) and was told that due to their business volume that their suppliers occasionally make a mistake and send them a branded, locked phone by mistake. It should have been obvious to them, as the phone they sent me was in a Vodafone box, that they were sending me a locked phone. The customer service rep told me to return the phone to them (apparently at MY expense for THEIR mistake and that they would either refund my money or replace the phone. They can rest assured that I will be asking for a refund as I have no further desire to do business with them. I am currently waiting for an RMA number to be emailed to me (it has been well over an hour so far).
CellHut states that they strive to provide excellent customer service but this has been one of the poorest online experiences for me, ever:
1. Incorrect item was sent, and I am expected to pay shipping back to them for their error.
2. Loooong hold time to speak to a customer service rep.
3. Their policy (not stated on their site) of not only requiring signature on delivery, but not allowing me to pick up my package at UPS on my schedule. This alone would prevent me from ever buying from them again, even if all else had gone well.
Caveat emptor!

Dear HDon:
Rest assured that we are doing our best to overcome these problems within our system. It is unfortunate that you were on the receiving end of an incorrectly shipped item, and we hope it doesn't give you a bad impression about our company. We do everything we can to make sure that the products we send out are exactly what the customer ordered.
The reason we charge a restocking fee is because in the past we have been scammed by too many people, who have taken advantage of the fact that we didn't charge one
We at Cellhut take fraud cases very seriously and this is why we only allow customers to receive packages if they are signed for them. We have had to deal with too many fraud orders that were able to pick up their orders from UPS after ordering with someone else's credit card.
We are sorry for the trouble that your order with us has caused and we ask that you bear with us as we constantly update our system to allow for speedier and more secure orders.
Thanks, Cellhut |

The prices were competitive, products came to me in a great condition. The service was outstanding. This was my first purchase from Cellhut and I'm completely satisfied. As long as their service and competitive pricing is kept in place, I'll be shopping there all the time.

I am pretty dissatisfied with the CellHut. I bought a "new" SonyEricsson phone, however it arrive in the box that was clearly opened before and it was obvious that the phone was used. Customer service was not responsive so I had to file a dispute with my credit card.

Dear sarkisov:
We are very sorry for the product you received. Our company is known for delivering immaculate products to the customers who shop with us, and instances like yours make us upset with our vendors. We try as much as possible to purchase products from reliable vendors, but sometimes a product comes through that isn't up to snuff. Because we ship out an incredible number of orders each day it would be impossible for us to check every one. We promise to get to the root of your order and remind the vendor that we don't appreciate receiving products that aren't in perfect condition. Our customers deserve better than that.
Thanks,

I purchased a Motorola RAZR V3 cell phone from CellHut.com which failed during the warranty period. The label on the box that the cell phone came in stated “warranty by Motorola Thailand”. No warranty information was provided with the cell phone so I called Cell Hut for the warranty contact information in Thailand however they could not supply that information so they suggested that I call Motorola-USA. Customer service at Motorola –USA advised me that they will not honor a warranty that was provided by one of their foreign divisions. Furthermore, they will not repair a Motorola phone that carries a serial number from one of their foreign divisions. I do not recommend that you purchase from Cell Hut since their web site does not indicate which products are warranted by overseas companies and they do not provide you with the foreign address where the warranty repair is available for your phone. I would not have purchased a product from Cell Hut had I known that the warranty was not provided by a company in the USA. The phone I purchased is available from Motorola-USA's online store so you do not have to purchase an imported phone in order to get an UNLOCKED phone. Dear cjonesiii:
We are very sorry for the problems that you have encountered regarding your warranty. We at Cellhut strive to provide people with the best unlocked cellphones and services. This means that in order to properly perform maintenance on the phones we carry, they must be sent overseas from where they came from. The luxury of owning an unlocked phone requires phones to be imported. If there is any problem they must be sent back to the country from where they were manufactured. We ask for your patience during the shipping process.
Thanks, Cellhut |

I would like to give my outstanding opinion of CellHut.com. I recently broke my cell phone and was looking to buy an unlocked Motorola W375. I first purchased the phone from Cellular-Blowout.com. However, the phone was put on back order and let's just say the customer service from that company was not up to par. So I started to look elsewhere for the phone. I found the phone for cheaper at CellHut.com, they processed my order the day I purchased it, and my phone was out for shipment the next day (I didn't pay for expedited shipping). I received my new phone in three days and it was in great condition! Thank you CellHut.com for your excellent service. You have won me over as a permanent customer.

This is a great site, and let me tell you why. I bought my phone on Monday and I was expecting to receive it like next week and I paid for ground shipping. So imagine my delight when the package was waiting on my doorstep that same week! This company is doing a good job of delivering their products and at an incredible price.

Can I think of a bad reason to purchase an unlocked phone… hmm I guess not. So I recommend that everyone get on the ball and purchase one of their own and not wait until the provider offers it. And since you are buying this expensive piece of equipment, you better buy it from a cool place. Shopping from Cellhut.com was a wonderful experience.

Annoying shipping policy -- they ship via UPS with signature required, which is fine, except that they also don't allow pickups at the UPS warehouse, which means that someone has to be home when the UPS guy shows up. (I talked to a couple UPS reps and the UPS driver, and they all said this was an unusual policy.) I understand they're trying to cut down on fraud, but it would have been nice if this policy were mentioned on the "checkout" page of their web site (maybe right next to where it warns that shipping to an address different from the billing address will add 24-48 hours for verification).

Dear derekn:
Cellhut takes instances of fraud very seriously and we currently have several security measures to ensure that our customers are not victims of it. One of our best security guarantees that we have it to have UPS attempt three times to deliver the package to the household, before returning it to us. We do offer an interception option which you can specially request at the time of ordering. This is the best way to avoid fraud errors and ensure that everyone is not charged for orders they did not place.
Thanks,
Cellhut

I ordered a battery charger for my camera and was notified on 6/21/08 that the item had been shipped with a transit time of 3-8 days. I'm placing this review on 7/5/08 and still have not recieved my order. I've also attempted to call this company on numerous occassions but never made it farther than a recording and holding for 15-30 minutes at a time. I've also emailed this company regarding my concerns. They are not attentive and seem to have no concern for fair business dealings. I've also read many reviews toward this company and it seems fair to say that they reply to these negative reviews with insincere apologies and hold no accountability for justifiably unsatisfied customers who have no product, but at the expense of money lost.
