The sharks running this business should be arrested and put out of business, The worst web shopping experience in my entire life . Ruins the internet, because they destroy the trust developed over years of successful web shopping. Totally untrustworthy. Probably financing terrorism. Stay away!!!!

If anyone says that they are satisfied with the treatment they have received in dealing with these crooks is either lying or is a cousin on the payroll. These people are the biggest crooks I've ever dealt with and I've been buying things on the internet for several years. I ordered something on 11/14/07 and what they sent to me was not what I ordered and when I called to discuss it with them all I got was a bunch of rude damnyankees who gave me one excuse after another. Even though the invoice states very clearly that the customer can return items if the item does not "meet their need", I was told that electronic items are unreturnable. As far as I can tell, all they sell are "electronic items". These people are guilty of malfeasance and how they continue to stay in business I do not know.

Spoke with these jerks on the 6th to confirm the US model of the Canon XTi and the availability of the item. Placed my order and did the obligatory call back for their strong arm tactics. Was assured order was in stock and ready to ship. Now September 11 I called to find out where you tracking number is (Web Site is down) and the Bonehead said it is not in stock and that it is a Asian version etc. When I questioned this due to prior phone calls he get belligerent and foul. Calling me an A$$hole etc. I have called my credit card company to cancel order and re-issue my card as these guys are a class 1 scam act.

I ordered a Samsung Sport Cam from them and it was suppose to be 7-10 business days Ground shipping. I waited for 3 weeks then call them back to see why it's taking so long to find out that they haven't even ship it out yet. They apologized and said that it will be shipped out the next day and that I would get a tracking number. I called the next day to find out that there's no tracking number. I wanted to cancel and they just cancel it like they didn't need my business. Ohh well I guess they must be making enough from these kind of ratings to not need my $500.

This guys are scam artists! They sold me a $1,000 Samsung Home Theater and claimed it was new when in fact it was refurbished. Refurbished by an un-authorized dealer making the warranty void. I encountered problems and was left holding the bag! I have the original receipt to prove that it was sold to me under the pretext of being new.

TOTAL SCAM! Ritebuys.com had a great price on a Canon XTi. Their lens price was not good, so I ordered the lens I wanted from a different website. When I returned home from work I received an e-mail asking for a confirmation phone call. I knew I was int trouble at that point. "It doesn't come with a battery." How much? $150. No, I'll buy one elswhere. "Do you want firmware". I was incredulous. "Do you just want to buy a non-working camera body?" He offered a package for $250 more. I stated I could get one with a lens at Costco for that price. His comment was that I'd have to pay sales tax. I canceled the order and will call my credit card company next to verify that they have not charged anything against my card.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING! I bought a brand new Canon G7 from these guys and got some other accessories with it. i was very sceptical after reading all the other HORRIBLE reviews about these guys on here. Well, I just got everything in today and I'm more than happy to report I LOVE IT! THESE GUYS ROCK! I GOT A HELL OF A DEAL! I DEFFINATELY RECCOMMEND THESE GUYS. THEY'RE EXCELLENT! This organization are made up of scam artists, who know nothing of their products, but how to sell you stuff you don't need. They are "BAIT AND SWITCH" sellers, who do not advertise what you will get, and then force you to call their sales rep to begin the scam. SCAM ARTISTS-STAY AWAY!

Cancel your credit card if you placed orders with them. A few weeks after this all happened to me, I found random charges on my relatively new card and ended up canceling my card.

I bought a camera from these people, after having to call them to "confirm" I got a fast talking sales person (Tom) who said the default battery didn't last very long, but that wasn't a big deal since he would throw in a better one. He argued with me about the warranty, I didn't want it, as I used to be a laptop hardware repair person, so I can fix it myself if it breaks! He eventually let up and let me off the phone. I got a new invoice saying it shipped and that it was for 100$ more than what I agreed to. Called Tom and he said it was because the battery and that the camera I bought was a japanese import which he changed to an american and also added a new battery. So on the phone with him I looked at the page I ordered from and it didn't say import or japanese at all, I called him out on it and he just put me on hold. When he got back on he told me I was getting a great deal. I explained to him I didn't want anything more than what the box comes with, and I wanted to price that I agreed to pay. He kept saying I ordered a Japanese model eventhough the item description doesn't say that. He kept talking about the battery life, so while he was talking I looked it up in consumer reports. Turns out, default battery has a longer life than most digital cameras. I told him that and he kept saying "no it doesn't" I was getting nowhere. He said I could return it for a restocking fee. I explained what a Bait and Switch is, and asked him to cancel the order. He said he couldn't. So I checked the tracking number and UPS hadn't received that package, so I told him to cancel it again saying that they hadn't sent it. He put me on hold. Came back with the same song and dance. So I told him to either cancel the order or I am contacting the BBB and my credit card company to dispute this. He was really rude at that point, so I said "you know the options, good bye". It's been a day and UPS still doesn't have the package. Maybe they canceled it? I don't have my money is for sure. Do not buy from these people, they used to operate under a different name that has the same terrible reviews. Now this is in the hands of my credit card company.

I placed an order with RiteBuys and received an email saying that I should call James at his extension. When I called him, he told me that it didn't come with a battery and I had to buy a new one. I told him I already had one and he told me he'd cut me a deal, told him I didn't want it and he started selling me a warranty that I didn't want. I told him I wasn't interested and got the same pitch as the battery. After hanging up I read the ratings here and tried to cancel my order. I spoke to 8 different people in 3 different calls, 3 of whom put me back on hold, 1 of them left the phone off the hook (I could hear work in the background), and 1 of them just flat out hung up. The next person put me on hold again, but picked up 2 minutes later and said it had been cancelled, have a good night, and hung up. I called back and after speaking to someone that put me on hold, I got another person to verify that the order had been cancelled.

Bait and switch like everyone else is saying. I ordered a camera from them online and after waiting 3 days I never got a shipment notification or anything. So I called to ask what was going on and they gave the standard line of needing to verify my information before processing the order. Then I was told "You know this price is for a non-US model, right? If you want the US warranty you will need to pay another $100." We argued about this and of course it was never advertised as a non-us model. We went back and forth and he tried to get me to buy a bunch of extra stuff and I did add one thing that I needed, but repeately said no to all the other overpriced accessories.  
 
I was treated like I knew nothing about what I was purchasing and a warning to those who don't know everything about what you are pourchasing, these guys will talk you into buying a bunch of stuff that you either don't need or is grossly overpriced. But after standing my ground they fulfilled my order and I received it promptly and it included everything that was supposed to be in there and it was a US model that I verified by contacting the manufacturer.

this site was the worst experence i have had with the web they had a sony dcr-dvd105 on ther web site and i purched 2 of them that sent me the order confermation and i called them on february the 11 and the had blanked my order the guy was very rude and did'nt say anything nice. still no responce
