I orederd the camera off of a search engine site, when I called I spoke with Chad and ordered the camera I "Thought" I wanted when Chad asked me a few questions to qualify how and what I would be using the camera for, I learned that another camera was really what I was looking for. The camera he suggested was a little more in cost but he included a few extra options to make up for the incresed expense. I appreciate Chad taking the time to ask the questions so that I might get the camera that would suit my needs better. I recieved the camera in the time I was promised. I would reccommend the Fotoconnection to others and will continue to do business with them in the future.
The agent was attentive and knowlegable.
The camera I wanted was in stock and it was delivered on time.
The price which was a consideration was the lowest.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING! I bought a brand new Canon G7 from these guys and got some other accessories with it. i was very sceptical after reading all the other HORRIBLE reviews about these guys on here. Well, I just got everything in today and I'm more than happy to report I LOVE IT! THESE GUYS ROCK! I GOT A HELL OF A DEAL! I DEFFINATELY RECCOMMEND THESE GUYS. THEY'RE EXCELLENT! THANK YOU RITE BUYS!

Orderd a range for my kitchen and was promissed my item within 3 business days and recieved it next day they had a really friendly staff as well would definilty do business with them again
I placed my order for the Toshiba Gigabeat S30 mp3 player from them on June 24. They told me on the website that the final price would be $278.99 including shipping. That's a great price and all, but they charged my card $295.73... The tax in NJ is 6 percent, so I'm assuming (278.99 * 1.06 = $295.73) that's what the extra charge was. The price for tax on the website was still $0 however, which I believe it should have been. I didn't bother contacting them about it after seeing the reviews on this website a few hours after I saw the charge. They called me to process my order and confirm my address. While on the phone with me, they (like others said) rudely tried to convince me to buy one of their extended warranties by trying to tell me that Toshiba didn't offer a manufacturer warranty. They told me to check Toshiba's site if I didn't believe them. And I didn't, so I checked the site, where I quickly found the warranty that they provide. Anyway, I ended up getting the mp3 player on the 28th or something very close to that (maybe the 29th) in perfect working condition. So I can't say I had any trouble with the object itsself or the shipping. I still would never order from them again based on the experiences that some people have mentioned on this website. From now on I should remember to check these reviews BEFORE I make my purchase instead of after.
Bait and switch like everyone else is saying. I ordered a camera from them online and after waiting 3 days I never got a shipment notification or anything. So I called to ask what was going on and they gave the standard line of needing to verify my information before processing the order. Then I was told "You know this price is for a non-US model, right? If you want the US warranty you will need to pay another $100." We argued about this and of course it was never advertised as a non-us model. We went back and forth and he tried to get me to buy a bunch of extra stuff and I did add one thing that I needed, but repeately said no to all the other overpriced accessories.
I was treated like I knew nothing about what I was purchasing and a warning to those who don't know everything about what you are pourchasing, these guys will talk you into buying a bunch of stuff that you either don't need or is grossly overpriced. But after standing my ground they fulfilled my order and I received it promptly and it included everything that was supposed to be in there and it was a US model that I verified by contacting the manufacturer.
Rite Buys offered the best online price I could find on a GPS, but after placing the order I received a phone call with a high-pressure sales pitch for accessories, extended warranty, and faster shipping. The rep provided false information about the specifications of the product, which I knew to be untrue.
The rep finally steered me to cancel the order, then promptly hung up on me.
I ordered a Garmin GPSMap 60CSx from RiteBuys online. Afterwards, I found reviews for the store here. I got kind of scared, but kept my order there and decided to keep a very close eye on it. The next day, I call them and they tell me that my order is being shipped that day. The next day, I call them again and the person tells me that the item I ordered is not shipped, but out of stock and it may be 14 days before they get it in stock.
Nothing more I had to hear. I immediately cancelled my order, and surprisingly, he sent me a congirmation email that said my order was cancelled. I am now looking for somewhere else to buy the GPS from.
Very sleazy dealer. My Dad was buying me a camera for christmas and the person he talked to essentially conned him into spending an extra $400 on crappy accessories that would otherwise cost less than half of that price. When these items arrived arrived half of them did not work or were broken. Additionally they would not offer a refund for them since the were "part of a package." They did offer to replace them (after I spend nearly AN HOUR ON HOLD waiting to talk to someone), but I'm skeptical as to whether the replacement parts will be any better seeing as they are all cheap no name brands. In addition to all of this the camera manual in the D90 box was for a completely different camera (a Nikon S60 point and shoot model). I have no idea how they managed to screw that up. Bottom line: avoid FotoConnection and go with a reputable dealer!

If anyone says that they are satisfied with the treatment they have received in dealing with these crooks is either lying or is a cousin on the payroll. These people are the biggest crooks I've ever dealt with and I've been buying things on the internet for several years. I ordered something on 11/14/07 and what they sent to me was not what I ordered and when I called to discuss it with them all I got was a bunch of rude damnyankees who gave me one excuse after another. Even though the invoice states very clearly that the customer can return items if the item does not "meet their need", I was told that electronic items are unreturnable. As far as I can tell, all they sell are "electronic items". These people are guilty of malfeasance and how they continue to stay in business I do not know.
Spoke with these jerks on the 6th to confirm the US model of the Canon XTi and the availability of the item. Placed my order and did the obligatory call back for their strong arm tactics. Was assured order was in stock and ready to ship. Now September 11 I called to find out where you tracking number is (Web Site is down) and the Bonehead said it is not in stock and that it is a Asian version etc. When I questioned this due to prior phone calls he get belligerent and foul. Calling me an A$$hole etc. I have called my credit card company to cancel order and re-issue my card as these guys are a class 1 scam act.
I ordered a Samsung Sport Cam from them and it was suppose to be 7-10 business days Ground shipping. I waited for 3 weeks then call them back to see why it's taking so long to find out that they haven't even ship it out yet. They apologized and said that it will be shipped out the next day and that I would get a tracking number. I called the next day to find out that there's no tracking number. I wanted to cancel and they just cancel it like they didn't need my business. Ohh well I guess they must be making enough from these kind of ratings to not need my $500.
