Did I get my specified Samsung Flash Drive?
NO !!!
They shipped me a "Super Flash Drive" USB 2.0 16GB
that can be purchased for $70 less and has inferior specs (I could not find that brand & model on their website). Of course FMS pocketed the $70. I've emailed them concerning the matter but they have not answered. I've sent them a letter return receipt requested, but they probably won't answer. If they don't, the next step is to send them a notarized presumptive letter with proof of mailing. How do these people get away with this sort of thing for so many years???

Yet another victim. They billed me without first shipping the product. I emailed them about 5 times without receiving any replies about the status of my order. I finally filed a report with my bank to have the charges reversed and sent an email to the merchant notifying them of my course of action. THAT got a response out of them: they sent me an email that my order had been cancelled and my status changed to "Do Not Ship"--confirming that indeed they had not shipped my order. I actually received two emails about the cancellation, one signed by "Alex S." (full last name was not signed, just the initial S). I then replied to the email, asking if this cancellation meant that my card would be credited the $129.85 they had charged me. I received no reply. I'm sure I will have to get my money back through reversing the charges. I intend to contact the FTC about this company.
UPDATE: My bank got involved and secured a full refund for me.

I received my 2GB SD SanDisk card as promised. It was a little late and shipping notification/tracking was very poor, but it did show up and was what I ordered. I did get a little nervous when I found, after my purchase, some very negative reviews on ResellerRatings.com so I ordered one from Amazon(it was onlt $4 more expensive through Amazon) Well the Amazon one showed up in a padded envelope. THe card was in the typical clear hanging packagong I would expect and have seen in stores. Great. The Flash Memory Store one shows up the next week in a smaller padded envelope with the card in a plastic bag inside in a case meant for an SD and Micro SD card. Thats it. No SanDisk packaging no card warranty info. Just the card and a simple invoice. I had to chukle. I'm just glad I got the right card, even though this seemed a little sketchy, and not a Q-memory as others have. I doubt I'll order from them again.

Wish I'd checked here before buying from these guys! Ordered a Kingston 2gb SDcard and received some 2 gbQ card that I never heard of . I looked online and found out that they are the only seller of Q cards. They do not answer emails or phone so no way to resolve the issue. Guess I'm stuck with something I did not want or order.

Flash Memory Store is a scam! Wish I had found this website sooner! I ordered a 2GB SanDisk memory card at $38.95 + .99 shipping on 1/22/07. Two weeks later, on 2/5/07, I received a Q Memory card, 150x Xpress Turbo, NOT what I ordered! I called, and their recording says to leave a message. There is no opportunity to speak with anyone. I left a message and also sent an email on 2/5, requesting them to send the SanDisk 2GB that I ordered. I am not optimistic and would not order from them again.

Well, I thought I needed a specific (obsolete)Dazzle SmartMedia card reader. It had the hardware that supported a formatting utility.

The bait was this model card reader that popped up when I Googled for it. Dazzle DM8200. The web page specifically stated it had the software. That is what I ordered. That is what the invoice states.

The switch: what I got is manufactured by PNY. The software was not included, nor does the hardware support it.

I did not give them the opportunity to rectify this matter, as the Dazzle thing probably does not exist any longer (It was too good to be true), I did get something for my $25, and I (belatedly) read the reviews here.

It was another reson to cancel my card number with the bank, however.

Thanks for being there!

This is a scam; plain and simple. This is a textbook case of what these scam artists pull. I feel like a real idiot. Well, at least it was only an $85 mistake.

I ordered a Hitachi 40Gb USB portable hard drive in a rush because I needed it for school ASAP and had little money to spend. I found some at local computer and office supply stores, but I could not afford them at the time. I paid an additional $4.95 for three day delivery. The next day I realized that I had probably made a mistake and requested to cancel my order, and e-mailed them. I did not receive a response.

You can't find their phone number. I extensively searched for it, and could not find it.

I received the package over a week later.

Not only did it take this long to get there, but it was not the right item. It was a no-name brand 40Gb hard drive. But wait; there's more.

Not only was it not the right item, but the box was already opened. I am sure this is so that they would have an excuse to not acceot it as a return.

Not only all of this, but the drive didn't even accept the included USB-to-USB cable. It takes some other sort of plug.

I contacted them again, with absolutely no response.

I spoke to my bank. They said they could only reverse the charges if I shipped back the item and it was not accepted as a return within 30 days. I meant to do this, but school was so busy last semester that I never got around to it. I am really sure that I can't return it now.

They are criminals. That's all there is too it. Greedy liars and predators.

The State of New Jersey is in the middle of bringing suit against a company (operating under several different names) for these SAME EXACT REASONS, but selling cameras and electronic equipment, not computer hard drives.

My point is that we all need to contact the state about this. Maybe they can do something.

Same here: Ex stock was on hold for more than 10 days, ignored cancellation on their website as well as by Email, shipped substitute product 4 days after order was cancelled, substituted product even though it was clearly stated in comments, that no substitutes were accepted. Tend to ignore Emails, but had some responses, however not really adressing my issues. Will backcharge via my credit card company and I am done doing business with them. As a matter of fact, this is the second incident of substitution without prior information.

Same story here, ordered a 2GB kingston 13x SD card and received a 2GB QMemory 150x. Same price, comparable specs but it is unacceptable that a vendor delivers some unknown brand to one of the best rated one on the market, and this is not an isolated incident.
Let's not give Flash Memory Store and their sister company Computer Memory Store any further business!

I ordered two 1GB Kingston 133x Secure Digital Cards (KNGSD/1GBU). I received two QMemory 150x Secure Digital Cards. The invoice reflects what I ordered. Further investigation via internet reveals that Flash Memory Store.Com appears to be the only store to supply the QMemory Cards. There are no other references to be found via the internet for Qmemory except for a website that has no real contact information. The products I received are in unsealed packages, and the cards do not look as picture on the website. There are no external reviews for this company pro or con anywhere on the the web. The company's website boasts this to be the fastest card available. How is it possible that this company has never been heard of? I have sent an email and left a message with an answering machine. I am still awaiting a response.

This is the biggest bait and switch I've ever come across. I returned the first Qmemory 4GB SD card I ordered. They replaced it with a SD card with no label whatsoever.

I wish I would have found these comments before I bought the card. I can only guess that I'm going to have to fight with the cc company to reverse all the charges.

Flash Memory-Store is one of the biggest scams on the internet.Like a fool I didnt go to ResellerRatings first. It took almost 20 e-mails to get my order shipped and then they substituted items without my approval and didnt ship anoter item ordered. Now I will fight to get credit because I don't want any of their merchandise. My credit card company can handle them.

Ordered 2 SanDisk SD memory cards, a 1G and a 2G card. The 1G SanDisk card was not even in the original SanDisk packaging, but in some generic Flash Memory packaging, so I have no idea whether the card is new or used. I did not receive the 2G SanDisk card, but a substitute 2G Q-Memory card, which I have never heard of, much less ever used before. I looked at the invoice in the box, and it charged for, and listed, a 2G SanDisk card. Then, when I tried to access the Flash Memory Store website to see what this Q-Memory card is, I received an error message that the page I was trying to access could not be displayed, inspite of my making several attempts through TWO browsers. Now I read reviews that this is not the first time this lying company has substituted merchandise, and delivered what was not ordered. This is my first and my LAST order. I will never order again from this company, if, indeed, it even is a legitimate company.
