I received a rebate check and when I deposited it in my checking account it came back as having insufficient funds.  
My checking account was charged for this.  
I called ClubIt and they told me they would reimburse me.  
They lied!  
I had never, in more than thirty years, had a bad charge on my checking account.  
Thanks to the cheaters at ClubIt I can no longer say that.  
They are liars and cheaters!

Ordered on January, 2008. Promised a $15.00 rebate. Rebate #796 was approved on March 17th, 2008. Check has never been received and it is now Sept, 2008. Emailed them and called. No response. They do not answer the phone. This is nothing short of outright fraud.  
 
Do not do business with these people.  
 
Anyone who has been defrauded by these crooks should file a consumer complaint with the Attorney General of California. Here is the link to the complaint form:

Purchased a PC case with 2 rebates from ClubIT last December. Submitted both rebates correctly and on time. One was a mfg rebate and was paid promptly. The other was a ClubIT in house rebate that was processed quickly, but not paid until June. I cashed the check but then received the email from ClubIT describing a bank change as the reason I shouldn't have cashed the check. The check bounced and my bank nearly accused me of fraud. Over 2 months later now and still no replacement. ClubIT doesn't answer their phone, their email address bounces back as invalid, and their web submit form doesn't get any response either. Poor form ClubIT. You will be hearing from the BBB and my state's Attorney General!

On 6/19 I received an email that "ue to our recent acquisition, Club IT has switched to Wells Fargo bank from BOA, therefore, any checks issued from Bank of America that you may have received is no longer valid. We ask that you please do not make the deposit; a replacement check from Wells Fargo Bank is in the process of being issued to you. If your online rebate status is “Approved for Check”, we will be receiving the new check in the next 2 - 3 weeks."  
 
My in house rebate status is still approved - check not mailed. They won't respond to my emails or phone calls.  
 
And the last two times I checked I couldn't even log in to their website.  
 
They are having serious issues of some sort. I hope the sort it out so I can get my rebate.

$6.00 Rebate check bounced (account closed)  
Now I am out $11.00 ($5 bank charges) It took 3 months to receive the check.  
In the last 2 weeks I've e-mailed them twice. No response. And spent hours on the phone...never got past the taped message. Either ringing for many minutes with no answer or get cut off.  
Who runs the concern?  
I've been pleased with all my internet dealings until I ordered from ClubIT.

Order a Irock Superman keyboard + mouse with $10 rebate from Clubit and 14.99 from PCUSA. Clubit sent $10 check on 05-24-08 then email came immediately after receiving check to tell me that Clubit is in the process of switching banks and do not cash check--a new one will be issued. I waited and waited and by surfing the web, I just found out that Clubit filed bankruptcy on 05-14-08. RIPOFF!!! Also, can't seem to get my $14.99 check from PCUSA. DOUBLE RIPOFF!!! Someone ought to be going to jail.

ClubIT had ram on sale for $29.99 after 2 rebates. After ordering the ram they contacted me saying the one rebate wasn't valid and to email them if I wanted to cancel the order. I emailed them but their mailbox was full, same when I tried the next day, then I found the ram at my front door. I contacted them to get a full refund, finally by 11/30 they agreed to a refund and they'd pay for return shipping. Even returning the item was a hassle because I had to call ClubIT to schedule a pickup but after taking the day off to do the pickup they said that I have to call them a day or two in advance so they'd have time to call fedex to schedule a pickup. I sent the item and on 12/20 received an email stating that they got the item and my refund would be issued but that it might be delayed because of the christmas season. I never got the refund so I called them up. Apparently 2 days after email saying all was good the customer service rep made a note that I shipped back an empty box and that he contacted me about it. I have no house phone, only a cell, and there were no calls from them on my cell records or any emails, maybe the messenger pigeon got lost. After fighting so long to get a refund why would I send in an empty package, they just wanted to cheated me of the ram and my refund because of a problem with their system and they did. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

The customer was informed immediately after we’ve found that the return was an empty box, unfortunately we did not hear back until 5 months later concerning this. We did reply back to the customer’s original email that a refund will be issued shortly based on the tracking information; but this was prior to inspection from our RMA department since we just received the package when the email was sent in. ClubIT operates on a very honest system to ensure the best possible service in the industry and our history ratings show it, there's no reason for us to not issue a refund for an $80 item if it was received as expected.

I thought I would try this vendor based upon reviews here. I ordered a Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor on 4/4/08 that was in stock according to the website. The website states order processing time is 24 to 48 hours. It is now 4/10/08 and my order status still states “pending for shipment”? If I would have ordered it from the "egg", I could be using it already.  
 
UPDATE: I was contacted by the customer service manager on 4/11. He said my order was not shipped because of an internal system error. He wanted to know how he could make this a better shopping experience. I replied back with my suggestions and was never contacted by him again. I did receive my order on 4/16.  
 
I will not order from them again....

Buying from Club IT was an OK experience UNTIL they started spamming me. The item took just over a day to ship, and reached pretty quickly. However, they have a nasty tendency to SPAM your mailbox after your purchase, to ask you to rate them on this website (resellerratings.com). They will send you one email a day (at 8pm EDT). I have received 3 such emails over the past 3 days.

The customer was contacted by the customer care manager to explain the email duplications. This was an isolated case due to our email system error, ClubIT has no intentions on spamming accounts with the "Order Completed" courtesy follow up email.

This was my first order from clubit and it was not a very pleasant experience at all. Put my order in for overnight shipping and didn't receive the package for 7 days. Talked to customer service multiple times and all but the last guy I talked to didn't have a clue nor seemed concerned about the inconvenience they had caused me. When I initially asked for a refund on my $72 overnight shipping charges, the customer service representative told me that he could not do that, but he would gladly change my shipping to standard shipping. (Insert crazy, rolling, blood shot eyed, steaming, hammer slamming smile face here) Did end up getting it in the end, but I also had to drive to a FedEx facility across town to pick up my package because I could not adjust my schedule yet again to be home to sign for the package.  
 
Definitely my last order from clubit.

Ordered a motherboard through paypal which they somehow didnt recieve payment for.... upon calling them the person I spoke to was rude and kept implying that I had done something wrong on my end after realizing the problem was on their end the rudness just continued pretty lame.

Worst experience yet online, took my money quickly enough and 13 days later its still pending for shipment, wont reply to emails and wont accept contact by phone. I'm totally disgusted with ClubIT they can shoveIT
