I am a methodical researcher when I make a big item purchase and I looked into many boutique game builders before I decided on choosing Vigor. With today's economy I had to make a decision to still maintain the build quality that I wanted but at a reasonable price. Vigor was very competitive in this area and came in at the price range I wanted.

I ordered a Hornet NE on August 4 and received a call from Daisy the next day to confirm the order. She was very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. I put in 4GB of RAM in the system with Windows XP Pro 32bit as the OS. Daisy pointed out that the 32bit OS will only use 3GB of memory max, but the 64bit can use all 4GB. I asked if there was any way they could put in 3GB instead, but they can only do 2 or 4. She then advised me to keep the 4GB of RAM in case I decide to switch to Vista in the future and so I kept it.

I received an e-mail once the order was confirmed with a customer number to keep track of the computer's progress. It was shipped on the estimated shipping date via UPS and I even received it a day earlier than its estimated arrival date.

The computer runs quietly and is very fast. I love it! I will shop at Vigor Gaming again for my next system and I highly recommend this company to others looking for a good gaming PC for a great price!

So far, Vigor Gaming seems to be an excellent company to do business with! We purchased 2 gaming computers at the same time. They even contacted us to make sure we had not made a mistake in the "quantity" field of our order. They also called when they realized the operating system we chose would not work with the other programs and let us know what our options were. We received the machines and are extremely satisfied with their performance! My husband and son say the game they had been playing for 2 years looks like a completely different game!! We have called once with a question and love the fact that a real person answered the phone. We were transferred to tech support and were speaking with someone almost immediately...no terminal hold! Should we ever have a need to purchase another gaming computer or upgrade our current ones, we will definitely contact Vigor again. Their website is now saved in our favorites!

What a company. I looked around for about a month and finally decided on Vigor because of online reviews and a good review in PC Gamer. Configured what I wanted and couldn't believe I could get a Phenom 9850, MSI K9a2 plat. mb, 4gb of ram, an ATI 4870, Vista premium 64, and Coolermaster 850 watt ps all for $1500 when other vendors were easily 2 grand or more. I ordered the Delta Force AE early July with the Phenom 9850 and wouldn't you know it. A week later the 9950 came out. I called Vigor and asked if it was too late to upgrade to the 9950 and Daisy said no problem. I figured while I was on the phone that I might as well go ahead and upgrade the motherboard to the Asus m3a32 wifi. I don't know too many vendors, if any, that would let you change an order that late into production. Of course that delayed my initial ship date but I knew that going in. I live in the middle east on a military base and packages usually take 7 to 20 days to get here after they ship from the east coast. From the day they shipped it from the west coast it arrived in 6 days. Unbelievable. I was a little worried about how well they would package it since a lot of my mail arrives looking like it was hit by an ied, but it arrived with the box intact. Connected it and everything works perfectly. No loose connectors anywhere. I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Vigor Gaming and will buy from them again. Like everyone says they're customer service and end products are top notch.

After two weeks of research and much deliberation, I decided to take the plunge and order a computer from Vigor Gaming for my gaming enthusiast appetite. When I did have questions, Vigor customer service answered my emails in a prompt manner. The website was well organized although I think pictures and additional information could have been provided with hardware options. After I ordered my Atlantis Laptop online, I received an email providing me with all necessary information and stating that I would receive a call within 48 hours to confirm my purchase. Well, I was surprised when I heard from Daisy, a Vigor employee, the next day. She was cordial, stated up front the lead time (two weeks which is understandable to have a durable computer), and asked me if I had any questions regarding my purchase. I decided to upgrade to express shipping and it didn’t present a problem.

I observed Vigor’s true spirit when they encountered a credit card issue (I accidentally gave the wrong security number). Daisy called me back later in the day to notify me of the error and I gave her the right security number. Our credit card company exacerbated the problem when they wouldn’t let the process go through the next day—we don’t normally make purchases this big so it looked abnormal. Chase told us we had to straighten it out with Vigor Gaming. So we called them and asked to speak with Daisy and our request was granted. I was pleasantly surprised to find that she remembered us and we proceeded to correct the problem within a few minutes. Best of all, she said the error didn’t impede my computer’s production. I haven’t received my computer yet, it should be sent out next week, but my experience thus far with Vigor has left no lingering doubts in my mind that the company takes care of its customers.

Placed an order for a Stealth AE on 07/14 and received an email confirmation right away. The same day, I received a phone call confirming my order, as well as an email confirmation.

It was scheduled to ship on 07/25, but shipped two days earlier on 07/23. I received it on 07/28.

Upon opening it, the pc itself is wrapped in an abundant amount of bubblewrap. There is a box that contains a binder with the return policy and warranty, as well as all of the driver discs, manuals, adapters, screws, cables, etc.

I hooked up the pc to my monitor and turned it on. It's fully operational out of the box, no need to enter any username or set up anything. There's no free trials or extra software bundles installed.

I am more than satisfied with Vigorgaming service. The computer itself is neatly presented; all of the wiring inside have been neatly bundled together, nothing came loose during shipment, the latest drivers have been installed. I have yet to talk to a CS rep since I have not run into any problems.

I highly recommend Vigorgaming, I'm glad I shopped with them rather than any other company. I'll be sure to purchase from them again in the future

This review is premature. I have not received the computer yet. Will update when I get the computer and have had a chance to work with it.

Having said that, I will say that at this point my experience with Vigor Gaming has been excellent. I chose Vigor Gaming after reading reviews on this site and others and their AA Better Business Bureau rating. Gamers are demanding and the ratings tell a great deal.

Before I ordered, I sent an email to Vigor Gaming and asked a number of questions. I really did not expect a response. Within two hours I had one. It was complete and well answered my questions. After months of research (looked at all of their competitors in detail) I chose Vigor Gaming, crossed my fingers and placed the order.

While placing my order, I told an inadvertent lie. I said that I would not bug them. The next day I called with questions and a desired change. All questions were answered. I found out that the change was not feasible, so canceled it. I then called two days later with another change. Although this change would have increased my invoice, the tech rep that I spoke with spent extra time and discussed the ramifications. It would conceivable caused problems with some of the older software I use, so I canceled it as well. On the 27th I checked out the site and lo and behold the vidio cards that came with the computer I ordered were changed from 9800gtx to 9800gtx+. A quick run of the configurator showed the same price. So, the next day I was back on the phone. I expected some resistance. They individual that I spoke with took my order number and reviewed my build. He then said simply, no problem. He made me aware that the new cards would not be received by Vigor Gaming until the end of the week (clearly posted on the site) and that was fine with me. A little delay to get two upgraded graphics card is a great trade off.

So I have broken my word and been somewhat of a pest. Every time that I have called, I have had a quick response and curtious and quality service. Each time that I talk to someone at Vigor Gaming they stress that the customer is very important and quality is their goal. I have had two converstions end with me being told that I will be very happy with my computer. With that philosophy and commitment how can you go wrong.

As a final thought, the prices are very competitive although not the lowest that I've seen, but the customer service and quality control are well worth the differece. To me a working computer with no problems is part of the package that I ordered.

To be continued!!!

08/20/08

Continued.

I received the computer last Wednesday, checked the wiring and cards and everything looked o.k. I fired up the baby and she came to life without a hiccup. Since I use the computer for work as well as recreation, it has been running for 12 hours a day for a week now, with no problems.

Since, I can be wordy (lol), I will finish up by saying that Vigor Gaming kept their word and I am very happy with my computer. I recommend considering this company strongly if you are looking for a good high end computer.

PS - I have confidence that this computer will function for a long time. New parts, extensive quality control, and a three year warantee parts and labor make me feel very secure.

I love this notebook I received, looks beautiful and runs very smoothly.

However I am not too sure how it passed the quality check because within an hour of running I encountered the blue screen numerous times. I wasn't too happy with that.

I did a LOT of research prior to placing my order with Vigor. In the end, they provided the configuration I wanted for several hundred less than the next-best choice, another firm who is very highly rated on this site. I had eliminated companies like Cyberpower owing to their terrible reputations here. Vigor also sports a AA rating from the BBB, which is quite significant.

My experience is much like others described here. I emailed to ask about the build I wanted, in terms of turnaround time, and received a prompt reply. After placing my order, Daisy phoned to confirm, and within hours I had my customer number and invoice number. The next day, their website had status info on my rig, and it was put together and in QC in less than a week. It shipped on the day estimated and arrived on the day they said it would.

The only problem was that apparently after QC was done, the builders reset the BIOS to its default settings. I had ordered a RAID 0 array of two HD's, and because of this the machine would not post, saying "Missing operating system". It took me about half an hour to figure out what the problem was, and once I restored the HD's as being RAID instead of IDE, it booted up immediately. The only other nit I would pick is that the documentation is very scant; they clearly expect their buyers to be experienced nerds like me. Novices might be daunted.

I ordered my rig with Vista 64 bit, and they had already set up my user account with my name-- a nice touch. The install is blissfully free of bloatware. It runs blazingly fast-- 3DMark of nearly 16,000 without taking any steps to optimize. I put the HD from my old machine into a free drive bay, and it was immediately recognized by the BIOS and Vista-- literally plug and play.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and have already recommended Vigor to a couple of colleagues who are in the market for a new desktop machine. I have nothing but the highest regard for the entire experience.

Another satisfied customer here. I'm not going to go into my detail about how excellent Vigor Gaming is. I ordered my PC and received it at my door about 3 weeks later. It took them two weeks to build and test and 1 week to have it shipped UPS ground. The computer came exactly as described and fired up with no issue. After going into the registry and doing some tweaks to speed up Windows, I noticed that the Vigor technicians had already made some great tweaks to my computer to make it faster. I downloaded the latest video drivers and when I went to install I realized that Vigor had already installed the latest drivers for me. Awesome stuff! So if you're looking to get an awesome gaming rig and you came across Vigor, don't look elsewhere. Their prices are VERY competitive and their customer service is awesome. I havn't had to use tech support yet, but I have no doubts that they are great. You might have to wait longer for your PC than you would with other companies, but who cares. It's easy to see where that extra time went. It went into building, testing, and tweaking a kick ass computer. Thanks VIGOR!

I must say that VigorGaming is a good company. I am a newcomer in America and still not good at speaking English (I am sorry if I make any grammar error in the following text). However, I need a computer. After reviewing several websites, I decided to purchase a computer from Vigor. Within 24 hours, a Vigor representative contacted me, using my native language!!!!! Her name is Daisy and she was friendly. Thank you Daisy, it's amazing.
If the best is A+, I will give Vigor a A.
1. The rig itself was well-assembled, with erything in its appropriate position. The inside of tower was neat and ordered. Perfect!
2. The PC had been tested and the operating systen had been installed. There was no any problem after powering on.
3. The assembling time is reasonalbe, though I think it can be faster. However, Vigor said 10 working days after the order was set and they did send out my computer in 10 days. On time, good!
4. The package was good, with adequate cushion to prevent damage in transit.
The reason why they don't get a A+ is that they didn't check my order thoroughly, though it maybe my fault in the begining. I also ordered a monitor with my PC. However, I did not pay attention to the detail information of every piece. After I received the PC, I found that the monitor had only a D-sub slot and the tower (the graphic card) had only DVI slots. So I cannot connect the monitor to the computer (I must admit that I was a little angry at that time becuase I can do nothing without a monitor). It took me about 30 mins to go to the BestBuy to buy the cable in the next day. I think it could be prevented if my order could be thoroughly checked after assembling.
However, the service of Vigor is excellent after all. I recommend this company to whom just arrived. You can contact them wihtout hesitance even you are not good at speaking English.

(Initial Review) Like many others, I decided to do quite a bit of research before making a grand purchase like a new computer. Having never built a desktop from scratch, I really wanted to go through a company with a warranty and came across Vigor Gaming. Although I saw that some of the more smaller vendors (Cyberpower, Ibuypower, etc) had some lower prices, the mixed reviews and reputations of these companies left me hesitant. I found Vigor Gaming not only had an excellent reputation, but they also had a very impressive AA rating with the Better Business Bureau.

I placed the order on July 11th, 2008 and although I hadn't received it yet, I can already attest to the excellent customer service. When sending an E-mail to inquire about the model selected, I received a quick and helpful response from their technician, Chuck, inviting further questions. When I made the order, I received a call on the next business day mentioning that the graphics card selected required a larger power supply (something I overlooked). Not only was the receptionist and technician I spoke with extremely patient with my indecision, but were more than willing to help me figure out differences in cost giving honest advice about the performance differences. I NEVER experienced that type of consolation with any of the other vendors I purchased computers from (try calling Dell with this type of question!). So far, their customer service has been admirable and I eagerly anticipate receiving my new system!

----

(FOLLOW-UP) I have just received the computer yesterday on the 29th, the date in which Vigor Gaming stated I would receive my system. After a long day of waiting for UPS, a large white box had finally come to the door! The first thing noticed upon opening the box was the clean organization and lack of clutter. The computer itself was heavily wrapped in a very thick layer of bubble wrap for protection and nestled to the side was a small box that held all the drivers, instruction booklets, additional adapters/screws and a plastic folder with a small FAQ inside (the same as found on the website). After carefully slicing through the bubble wrap, I beheld the system itself, which was very impressive. The clear case revealed a neatly assembled system, also free of clutter and drawing some attention from others.

After plugging in everything, I proceeded to turn it on only to have it turn off than on again. I'm not sure if that is normal; the computer proceeded to start up afterwards so it doesn't seem to inhibit the functioning of the system. Next is an important reminder: DOUBLE CHECK YOUR CONNECTIONS. Although Vigor Gaming packages their systems well, shipping through UPS doesn't exactly give me much comfort. Lo and behold, the hard drive had a disconnected wire causing the computer to prompt me for a boot device. After plugging this back in, the computer came to life quickly, featuring the sleek Vigor template they provide.

----

(February 2009) After having the computer for a bit over six months, I remain extremely happy with my system. Perhaps the greatest asset has been that it's amazingly stable (knock on wood). I still haven't experienced a single crash or system freeze, though I have been careful with what I download and/or install. The CD-ROM drive is a bit noisy (but works fine) and the sound seems a little quieter on this system than others I've had, but with speakers it's not problematic. Overall, I still highly recommend Vigor Gaming and plan on being a repeat customer!

I placed my order after doing intensive research on all custom gaming pc builders. Vigor gaming by far has the best reviews and offer the most rock bottom prices. I recieved my pc with one problem which ended up being a lose wire which is understandable...ups duh. Other than that, this pc is perfecto mucho bueno. Congrats and thank you vigor. I called with ?'s during ordering and have to say they are on the ball with customer service. tech support is awesome... blows dell and gateway out of the water... what? multi billion dollar companies being out done by the little people, right on vigor. Anyways, I will recommend vigor to anyone. Many thanks vigor and I will close with a standing ovation.

I ordered the Artorius laptop, after researching and reading up on different companies. I happened to find Vigor Gaming, checked out their site, and wow, amazing prices compared to almost any other custom computer company. I have yet to receive the laptop, as it was ordered 2 days ago, but thus far, I am extremely pleased with how everything has been handled. They have unbelievable customer service, and respond to questions remarkably fast. My only gripe so far has been that they can't accept international credit cards (had to do a wire transfer). Will update when I get the laptop.

UPDATE 07-30-08
Got the laptop, amazingly well packed, amazing laptop in general. Quite possible the most satisfying transaction i have ever made. 5/5 for sure
