With today's economy I had to make a decision to still maintain the build quality that I wanted but at a reasonable price. Vigor was very competitive in this area and came in at the price range I wanted.
I am not a technician but do know a little about gaming pc's but very much appreciated the advice and suggestions that were made. The sales adviser was able to give a good explanation as to why it would be better to go with this build as opposed to what I may have originally started.
The build time was completed as promised without delays or issues. After the delivery and I had unpacked the computer I found no shipping damages or problems.
The computer is running without flaws or hiccups. I am still moving files, programs and data from my old machine and I have yet to have any concerns as of this date.
As far as gaming the Vigor computer is great. I have played Fallout 3, World of Warcraft, and The Witcher and the graphics and framerates are amazing.
I will end with saying, if you are researching for a gaming computer put Vigor at the top of your list. One other reason I chose Vigor was the results maintained on this website and the high customer evaluations. I also wanted to thank Chuck at Vigor for working with me. So far if things remain the same without issue, you all did a great job.

After searching online for several days for the perfect online PC vendor, I was very excited when I came across Vigor. Some companies (company names edited out, but certain ones aren't too hard to guess) had too many negative reviews for my tastes, others didn't have enough customizability or did not provide a card I desired, and others were too expensive. Vigor had reasonable prices and seemingly positive reviews. I was very, very happy to find them.
And as of April 15, 2006 I ordered a Force Recon from Vigor, a customized, near-top-of-the-line PC, for a total of about $2250. There was also a $100 shipping fee. Overall, the prices and value are great and so far I am happy with Vigor. If all turns out well with shipping and everything works as I hope it does, I will update this post and suggest Vigor wholeheartedly.
(April 20th) Vigor has been slow to respond to my post-order confirmation emails with a few short questions.
(April 27th) Package was received. The shipping was quite fast. I have not yet unpacked the PC as I'm waiting for some other non-related deliveries.
(May 5th) It's up and running now. The Force Recon sure is a powerful PC. I've been enjoying Oblivion the last couple of days and it handles it very well. The PC got off to a rough start due to a couple mistakes on my part. The Creative speakers were a little underwhelming and my monitor needed a DVI cable to be purchased in order to plug in correctly. I wasn't too impressed by Windows 64-bit and reverted to XP Home. These aren't really Vigor's problems, however, I'm just detailing what I experienced in my early days with this beast of a rig.
To conclude: Vigor shipped fast, had reasonable prices, is reliable (so far), and provides wickedly powerful PC's at good value. I am "very satisfied." They have a cool emblem, too! I can't complain about their service in any way and, at this point in time, recommend Vigor to anyone looking to customize a gaming PC. Thank you.
(June 15) I began having some problems booting correctly (MBR error 1) and my hard drive began acting erratically. Tommy from Vigor's Tech Support shipped me a new hard drive when my problems continued. This review was modified by its author, Someguy150, on

I worked for Fry's Electronics for 2 years now, and have seen many "name-brand" notebooks. The workmanship on my Aegis is a cut above many of such systems. I had this notebook for a little more than 3 months now, and I did not have any problems at all. To my surprise, the wireless network was pre-configured already and picks up my wireless router as soon as I turn it on. On the occasions that I had to call tech support, they really knew what they were doing. Kudos to Vigor for building such a good machine with great support. I'd recommend Vigor to anyone looking to purchase a new system!

This was definately one of the quickest and best transactions I've had online when buying a new system. The price was great, the system was built well with quality components and care. The system has functioned impeccably so far and has given me no problems. Much like everybody else here, I am very impressed. For reference, here are the specs:
A64 3500+ Venice
Asus A8N5X
Leadtek Winfast 7900GT
2x512mb Patriot DDR400
80gb WD Caviar SATA HDD

I had my Delta Force for about 6 months now and I love every minute of it. I have also added several components in it with the help of Vigors tech support and they had been very friendly and helpful.
First sign of quality was evident by the way they packed the system. This rig is heavy, really heavy. I would say it weights somewhere around 50-60 pounds. Normally, something this heavy shipping through UPS can be very dangerous. However, due to the superior packaging, the system came to me without a single scratch, even though the outside box was damaged (seems like someone took a punch at it). It worked right out of the box and nothing faulty, nothing went wrong during the whole time I had it.
I have since added a second video card for SLI, 1G additional memory, and a 12-in-1 card reader. Because I wasnt that good with computer, I called Vigor for help. I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism for their customer services. They made me so comfortable that I upgraded all of them with ease. I never knew I had it in me to mess around with electronics. It sure saved me good money for new games instead of paying for some tech to do the installations.
Anyway, this is the best machine I've ever had. I would recommend Vigor to all of my friends.

I looked at Alienware, Voodoo, Hypersonic, etc. I then noticed the add for VIGOR in my PC Gamer magazine. I decided to check out their web-site. I was impressed but I had questions about the configuration of the PC I was interested in the (Force Recon). I sent an email to customer service and I got a lightning fast responce, within 15 to 30 minutes. I was impressed! My questions were answered promptly and professionally. I also looked at reviews for all the manufacturers I was considering and VIGOR just blew the others away. I received my p.c. in a timely manner, it was packaged very well. I have put over 40 hrs. on it in less than a week and it is running with no problems so far. I downloaded COD2 and F.E.A.R. and it plays both great at maximum settings. I would have liked to seen a manual explaining the bells and whistles for those of us who are not computer savvy. The system comes with a folder for troubleshooting, which is handy. **Update** 05-03-06...Well, I have had problems with my $2,800.00 rig. FEAR crashed after I was half way through the game. I called tech support, these guys are great and very patient, they told me to un-install and re-install. I un-installed it and re-installed three times with it crashing each time. FEAR has an update which has to be installed each time, (this takes an hour). I finally just gave up and did not bother tech support with it. I also tried to install Full Spectrum Warrior 10 Hammers but could not get it to install. I was able to install two other older games with no problems and COD2 still ran great. It went from troublesome to real bad real quick, on 05-01-06 I turned on the p.c. and it fried, I mean smoked...literally. I called tech support and once again they were great, unfortunately, without them looking at it they cannot determine the problem or fix it so I had to ship it back at my expense ($58.00). I understand this is standard protocol for almost all manufacturers but it is still a hassle and it aint cheap. I have decided to let them fix my p.c. and give it a shot again, mainly because their tech people are great and seem genuinely concerned about the customer. Also, I still think VIGOR is a quality organization dedicated to selling a quality machine. **05-11-06** I received an email from VIGOR giving me an update. They explained the problem (faulty power supply)and have installed a new one. They also contacted the manufacturer (Enermax) to complain about the faulty 600 watt power supply...good idea. VIGOR also gave me a couple of extras at no cost for the trouble. Like I said, the support for VIGOR is topps. I have an Alienware laptop that is about 2 1/2 years old, you will never get this kind of support from Alienware. I should recieve my puter in about a week and will update this post. **5-25-06** I received my p.c. back in a timely manner, a couple of wires came loose during shipping, which caused the temerature alarm to beep constantly and display a crazy temp. After connecting the wires everything is running fine. I have not tried FEAR as of yet but have played other games, which are running fine. Overall, I am pleased with my system. Hopefully there will be no further problems. Thanks to the tech guys for the upgrade. This review was modified by its author, M.W., on

I searched around a lot before I found Vigor and did it pay off! Vigor's gaming rigs are incredible. Best value for money with all the specs I wanted. My machine is super fast and the graphics are amazing. Everything practically jumps off the screen! Plus the customer service was good and my rig was arrived on time as promised.
This is the first time I've ever bothered to write a review. I had such awesome experience that I felt I had to share. Vigor's machines rock!

Hello for all of you wondering what type of gaming pc Vigor makes, I'll tell you. I'm a rocket scientist at JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratories) no jokes people...I require my computer to run high analytic calculations and run various mechanical cross-sectional kinetic power analyses. So I really put the Force Recon to the test. I actually overclock mine because I purchased the super monsoon cooler. With its TEC working, I was able to get 20% more out of my computer. This system doesn't mess around...I need it to perform when I want it to...I can't have something that'll crash every 5 minutes... Not only that, when I am not working on my projects, I like to use it for F.E.A.R. If you want hard core I've done the testing...This system is worthy or purchase.
Pro: Fast and Furious performance, great ventilation, good styling, well constructed and solidity built
Con: A little bit on the heavy side and no payment plan

I was quite skeptical with ordering a computer over the internet, however, I decided to give a try when my old computer fried. After about a week of research on the internet, I basically narrowed it down to Vigor, Alienware and Voodoo. I first contacted Vigor about offering the bluetooth connectivity, and within a few days it was added to their on-line configurator. That was the final missing piece plus the fact that Voodoo is in Canada. The ordering process was very easy and my salesperson Diane called the next day and went over the order with me to make sure everything is to my liking. Because I wanted my notebook in red, I had to wait a little longer. However, when it finally arrived 3 weeks later, I was amazed with the quality of worksmanship. The little wait time fails to compare to the attention to detail they paid to my notebook. For the last few months, I have been traveling with my notebook and I haven't have any problems. Everywhere I go I have people asking me "where did you get the notebook?" This notebook not only made my life easier on the road, it also made me feel good about myself.

Wow, what can I say. I just purchased an Augustus system with a special Navy Blue custom color that wasn't even offered on their website. They were able to accomodate my request. I shopped around for the best priced desktop replacement system based on the new FX60 processor, Nvidia 7800 gtx, 80gb hd, 1gb ram, and 17" screen. This system abolutely rocks! I've tested the quality and speed of this thing with COD2 and Battlefield 2 at the highest quality settings. This thing can handle it with no problem. This is my second system purchase from this company and it has been nothing but a great experience. I paid $3800 for my system.

It was by chance that I found the Vigor Gamings web site. I was surprised that a relative new company was a strong, professional company that had more to sell than flashy graphics. I love my Force Recon, a top-of-the-line machine that gave me many sleepless night playing Battle Field 2. Anyone reading this, don't hesitate to buy from them. The support is great, and the sales reps are friendly, but nothing tops the Super Mansoon cooling that they have to offer. It keeps my computer cool while getting the most performance out of my 4000+. Just coming by every once in awhile makes me proud that I own one of their fine systems, and ready to pull out my wallet yet again! If this sounds too much like PR - it's not! I really am that satisfied! Thank you Vigor Gaming for putting such a great system for me!

I am very satisfied with my Aegis. I was worry about the AMD Mobile processor at first, but it turned out to be a great decision. I especially like the bluetooth function. Now, I can update my phone address from my notebook to my cell phone in the matter of few strokes of fingers. The paint quality of my notebook was so good that everywhere I go I got people asking about where I got this notebook. Anyway, I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this company.

I have a hornet with a bright yellow paint. It was given to me as a birthday present. Initially, I had some problem installing an existing hard drive. However, one phone call to George, my technical advisor at Vigor took cared of everything. My experience with the ordering process was very pleasant. Justin was friendly and very helpful. He even advised me against spending more money for things that I don't need. How many sales you know that doesn't up sell? Anyway, the system came to us very well packed. I hooked it up with my old LCD and it boots right up with everything configured. The only thing I have to do was to activate my window. The case is on the big side and heavy, but it is very well constructed and has great airflow. Everything was screwless and drive can be installed with rails that were provided in the chassis. The custom paint job was like that of a sports car. Since the time I got it, I have enjoyed playing WOW and BF2 without any lags. All in all, I am very satisfied with my decision going with Vigor.
