Heatware question

I'm wondering about the evaluation type. I've gotten 2 evals from people i bought stuff from, but one put bought item and the other put sold item in their eval type. I'm wondering what situation is the correct one for bought item and which for sold item, because you can kinda see each fitting both positions (ex [/b]bought item[/b] from him, or he [/b]sold me[/b] this item).

If you Bought Item, you choose Bought Item, same w/ Sold Item. YOU are filling out the feedback according to what YOU did. They probably just messed it up, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

That's what I do as well. However, just to be on the safe side, in the description I'll say "I bought a xxx from xxx" or "I sold a xxx to xxx." It's pretty hard to screw that up.

Starfury_2260, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was confused on that one! There have been quite a number of times where I can't remember which is the correct choice, so I end up going back to old feedback to remember the 'right way'.

Instead of saying "Bought item" and "Sold item", I think it would be smarter to say..

[-Bought item from] Starfury_2260
[- Sold item to ] Starfury_2260

I'll send an email with my suggestion, and pointing to this thread.

(If anyone has a better idea, post!)

Or maybe it could have the transaction type before the reviewer's name. Like:

Bought Item from reviewer
Sold Item to reviewer
