OT: Keep prices up once an item is sold!

When I'm looking to sell something and I don't know what price to put on it, I do a search to see what other people have been getting. If people could leave the price that the item sold for in the thread, it would make it very easy to determine an asking price. Instead of just editing out the price and saying "sold," leave the price and write "sold" next to the item, or before it. Thanks. Again, this is just a suggestion, but it would be greatly appreciated.

Once a sale is final, only edit the top thread saying the item is sold. Do not edit other posts, as the thread serves as a record of the transaction.

ER, the rule does not say anything about editing out the price. It would be nice if people could keep the price in there and just say that the item has been sold.

I thought the part about the thread being a record was pretty self-explanitory.

I'm not arguing w/ you, I think it's a good idea. I was just pointing out that it was already there if people would just READ THE RULES before posting like mad.
