The DC adapter doesn't stay plugged in perfectly, as I have to wrap it around the player while it's in the car so it doesn't turn off when it moves around slightly in my adjacent seat. Otherwise if the cable just hangs from the back it looses it's connection when moved very much. Batteries would solve the problem, as it didn't do it before I took the batteries out [backup, yaknow]...but I keep forgetting [or maybe procrastinating] to put the batteries back in! Slightly scuffed, but plays wonderfully. I would be keeping it, except the tape deck in my car is on the fritz, and it looks like an MP3 deck is in my future. And that was my main use for it.
