Well I think I went too far everyone's backed up.

(a) Sorry I don't have much of a record anywhere so I can legitimize my trustworthiness. I just signed up for heatware.com!

(b) Don't play games you guys! You fully understand what I am saying and I didn't even have to hear you guys to understand your part. I knew what you would say. 500$ is too much for a Duron. That's what I would have said too.

(c) ".... people here at IMO are some of the most computer savvy you'll find" I thought savvys respond better to such a deal.

(d) Final Price: 450$ for the PC. shipping is another 20$.

I'll give you $40 for the 40gb drive and the stick of 128mb ram.



My PC is almost twice what that is and I'd be lucky to get $200 out of it. I've learned you have to cut your losses when selling something if its that old. If I were to try to get the $800 or so that I put into this years ago people would crap my thread and flame me to no end. Good luck there buddy.....

would you please list all the items in your computer for me?

I've learned that you PC is almost twice as mine.

Duron 650 Mhz (times 2)= athlon 1.3 (around 40-50$)
Abit KT7e (times 2)= Abit NF7 (or something around 60-70$ retail)
256MB ram (times "almost" 2)= 384 DDR pc2100 (which costs at least 40$)

I'd leave the HD since you said it's "almost" twice.

What about the rest?

even if you had the same sound card, vga, case, keyboard, mouse, speakers, (which you are saying you have twice as good) you wouldn't sell it for 200$. just be honest! Would you sell it for 200$?

There are all kinds of people out there who are willing to pay 300-400 for a decent system like yours, which is almost twice as good as mine (as i've learned.)
