I added it up too...I came out to around 600 dollars too...I have to agree with Kc2iLq and dlh75 on this one...Its a bit overpriced for the parts in the computer. I tried selling a pretty up to date P4 comp and I couldnt even get 550 for it...It really doesnt take that long to build a computer unless you run into major hardware or software issues. As for packing it shouldnt take you more than an hour tops...I've packed entire computer systems with all the peripherals before and as long as you have a good size box from like a TV or something you should be set. Just adding my 2 cents in here...thats all...oh yeah...some people can't add on this site...its sad and all but what can ya do I guess...

You guys need to take a look at how old most of the items are.

Santa Cruz: less than two weeks
Antec:less than three weeks
Geforce mx420: less than a month + it's got a Tt Blue ORB.
Asus CD writer: no more than 15 cds i've put in it. maybe 10 cds i've burned with it.


Plus: I knew what you guys will say on such a deal. Yeah, that's why i wrote down every item i had in details. If you think these prices are high, go bizrate.com or whatever website you want and check!

Here are some realistic prices, my friend...and it's still not easy to sell them. btw, just got done building a pc...total time was about 35 minutes from start to boot up.

Secondly...you need to realize that no one is going to buy your system at that price. People here at IMO are some of the most computer savvy you'll find. You can't go around charging $520 for a 650 Mhz computerbecause the parts add up to that. It's used. We are simply trying to help you adjust your price accordingly.


EDIT: You'll also need to post some references, like heatware, to legitimize your trustworthiness.
