Computer, Mac parts f/s

I've had this box for about 3 years now and I have no use for it.

Celly 366 (socket 370)
2 PCI, 2 ISA
128mb ram
16mb Xpert 128 (PCI) Also has onboard, but I didnt use it much
10gb Quantum Bigfoot (or 8.4gb WD caviar, gotta get that straightened out first).
onboard sound, 10mbps lan card (PCI)
No CD/floppy yet, but Im lookin for one. All of my spares are dead.

Id like to get $120+shipping and insurance for it. It would make a great UD/FAD/seti, etc cow, or a linux box.

I also have a PowerMac 8100/80 parts up for sale. Its a complete system but I cant get it to boot. It was an ebay purchase that got kinda fudged, and I think its DOA due to UPS kicking it around. The only thing I wanna keep is the harddrive since its still working.
no longer f/s

Cub, on that Mac, before you junk it, try replacing the battery in there. That's notorious for fouling them up. Also, if you power up with the right key combination pressed, it'll reset the PRAM (that's Mac-speak for BIOS) and you may get it to boot up. I've got a project 6100 on my bench right now that wouldn't boot and I rescued with these two tricks. I don't recall the key combination but a hunt around on http://www.lowendmac.com should reveal it. That's where I found it.

What area are you thinking in price-wise for the PDS vidcard?

Thanks Tom. I'll check it out. I have a 9500, but I dont care to tare that monster apart to get to its battery.

edit: If I recall some of the PowerMacs have a reset button on the logic board (mobo) to do the same thing, but I didnt see one. I'll look on my working Mac, I know it had one somewhere....

Hey, the button on the logic board is the CUDA button. Also, check the power supply connector to the motherboard. To also reset the pram, hit the Apple, Option, P key, and R key while u start it up. Most of the time, it will make the Macs startup again. (even if it appears dead). Check my other post about the operating systems thanks, Paul

Cub... Got one But it's in use

Evilbay seems to have a goodly supply of 'em, as low as about $10.

An alternative is to get the PDS video card, which uses the standard two-row Mac monitor connector. I'm running a dual monitor setup using both of them that way

Oh, and keep your eye peeled for a Sonnet PDS G3 upgrade. Got my 6100 up to a G-3 400 that way for about $150

lol Tom, It has a PDS card with a standard mac connector (2 row), but it dosent work at the moment. That sounds like a super n00b sayin that, but thats basically it. Im guessing I have to have the adaptor, then enable the PDS vid card somehow.
