cable for NCD monitor

i've been given a NCD monitor, model #NC1985AA, but no cable.

the interface has 5 "coax-like" connections (R, G, B, H/HV & V) and a "PS/2-like" connection (REMOTE)

can anyone help?

The BNC connections are pretty easy to find cables for. Here is a link to what you are looking for. They tend to be a bit expensive, but the quality is substantially better. As for the other cable, is it a necessity? I can not seem to find it anywhere and it is likely proprietary.

*edit*- based on what this person has experienced, it seems that the monitor requires a fixed-frequency video card. They are expensive and probably not worth it depending on what you paid for the monitor. Also, they do not seem to be available in sizes greater than 32Mb and are certainly not meant for 3D gaming/CAD.

hmmm.....dont mean to post where i have no interest, but does this mean that there is a possibility that this monitor and cable wont work with a regular pc video card? i have a 21" monitor with the same connnections, and the correct cable, however, when turn it on, i get no pic, it turns on, but it never seems to "warm up" like my main monitor....

stant093- It would seem that that might be the case. What is the make and model of your monitor? Try googling it and seeing if anyone else has had experience with it.

well...

firstly, this is just a donated part i hope to make use of.
secondly, the compatability issues mentioned are something i'll have to learn about after i get a cable (maybe that "remote" interface has a purpose here).
thirdly, anyone know where i can get my hands on some model-specific info?

very helpful links, informative one below
