How much is this system worth?

Sadly, I gotta sell my system, my car is officially dead.

After checking Pricewatch, it would cost ~$550 to $600 to build that system yourself without the software. This assumes you are buying from the cheapest vendors on pricewatch which guarantees that you will get ripped off so the actual prices may be a bit higher when buying from reputable companies.

My guess is that system is worth about ~$600. +/- $50

The cheapest vendors for any particular item on Pricewatch usually have terrible ratings. Or no ratings at all. Not always of course.

You gotta remember when you put a system together, ten minutes later it's worth about half the price of what it cost you for all the parts! Computers depreciate faster than anything I've ever seen in my life. The only things that keep their value a little longer are the monitors. I would have agree with the people above, it's probably worth between $500-$550 with the monitor.
